It's good. There is a permanent exhibit of clothing and accessories from 1740 to modern age.

What a treat! Aristocrats' fashion show was well curated indeed. Having said that, 18th century British garments were oddly squished together and behind a barrier, could hardly read the labels. Wish there was a catalogue I could have bought... The museum's shop looked abondened and empty. Food for thought!

I loved it, we were celebrating birthday of our department, had good concert there. Additionally we were able to visit exposition of various costumes from known designers.

Expected a permanent museum collection covering hundreds of pieces of local furniture, porcelain etc. What we found is about five pieces of both furniture and porcelain - and two exhibitions about Suisse political posters and modern artwork combining textiles and visualisation. More a gallery than a museum. So disappointed.

The exhibitions were interesting and worth the 2 euro ticket. But the staff (except the lady that sold the tickets) was horrible. They kept snooping (yes, snooping - just picture a spy movie parody) behind visitors back, watching them with grumpy faces. They were probably concerned about the exponates safety.

The location makes for a good venue to host different events. I think I may have missed some of it as it didn't really feel like a museum of applied arts but rather a museum of fashion, most of the exhibition consisted of women's gowns and accessories from the end of the 19th century until the present ordered chronologically. Can't say that's an interest of mine but the curation was good

I love Art. That is why visiting museums and galleries is a must ,a necessity for me. This museum is impressive both from outside and inside . I got a good feeling while exploring the exhibits in two halls.

(Translated by Google) Although the museum is still full of a bit of archaicness, new exhibitions and a new approach can make this place attractive to visit. (Original) Nors muziejus dar alsuoja šiek tiek archaiškumu, tačiau naujos parodos ir naujas požiūris gali šią vietą padaryti patrauklia lankymui.

(Translated by Google) There are interesting exhibitions, but there could be more variety; the collections of fashion historian Vasilyev, which have been exhibited for many years, have become the main attraction of this museum, but applied art is not only fashion design, more attention could be paid to sculpture, architecture and so on. The above-mentioned Vasilyev collections cannot be visited free of charge on the last Sunday of the month. (Original) Yra įdomių parodų, bet galėtų būti daugiau įvairovės; daugelį metų eksponuojamos mados istoriko Vasiljevo kolekcijos tapo šio muziejaus pagrindiniu traukos objektu, tačiau taikomoji dailė tai ne tik mados dizainas, galėtų būti skiriama daugiau dėmesio skulptūrai, architektūrai ir pan. Paskutinį mėnesio sekmadienį minėtų Vasiljevo kolekcijų nemokamai aplankyti negalima.

(Translated by Google) It is always fun to listen to good music concerts here or to visit exhibitions. A very interesting poster exhibition of Juozas Galkus “Not Just for the Street…” is currently taking place. The posters created in the 6th and 8th decades are on display. For some, it might evoke memories of the past, and for someone to look at the modern "artwork" of the time, as the author himself described.

Staff isn't very polite and exhibitions are split, so you have to pay separately for each one of them. Lightning is poor and general atmosphere is grim. Beautiful content of exhibitions though, I only wish it was presented somehow nicer.

(Translated by Google) Well to experience it is not what, you need a wheelchair to get to the second floor it is necessary to carry a transport from where you bought a ticket, and an exhibition about Ukrainian civilization it does not correspond to the reality that is advertised.
