Good but not great vegetarian pizzas in Vilnius. Menu is small as it should be with variety of different pizzas to choose (and other Italian dishes mainly). Outside sitting is pretty bad due to tiny pavement but it's not the fault of the restaurant. Overall had a tasty lunch for reasonable price. Oh and spicy options are not really spicy,but You should already be accustomed to that in Lithuania.

I recommend mushroom soup and the duck in Redfruits jem sauce. Expect to wait for at least 15 minutes, the restaurant is really good and everyone want to go there. You better book a table. The service has to be improved. I didn't find waitresses really nice, when you welcome a customer, it would be great to let him/her feel really wanted and not that you are doing a favour to the guest by doing your job.

Local, great presentation & fantastic ambiance. Affordable prices for what I would dare call delicious specialties. 100% can recommend. Not giving 5 ⭐️ as they unfortunately got one dish wrong and did not apologise/offered to take it out of the bill. Also, long queues.

Good variety of traditional Lithuanian dishes for almost reasonable price. Mushroom soup - tasty, but for 5 eur a portion could be slightly bigger. Potato pancakes, stuffed with meat (1 - 3.5 eur, 2 - 5.3 eur) - excellent. 1 piece is enough to get stuffed, but the 2nd one was kindly served as to-go. Local beer - good as well.

Locals say its a tourist trap. At least I got some taste of the local dishes, like the bread soup - which was nothing special and the dessert which was nothing special either 😀 I cannot decide wherher this is a good reference place for local food. The acron coffee was good tho.

Food is nicely prepared. Menu is very friendly - come with English and picture. I order salmon salad , beetroot soup and Lithuanian meatballs ( just one )- all of them are really good.

Huge portions and very attentive staff, even though it was extremely busy! Come here if you want to try authentic Lithuanian dishes. There's even a map on the menu to tell you which region each dish originated from!

Great Lithuanian food. A bit of a wait to get seated at a table (numerous people came and left whilst waiting for a waitress to even acknowledge the queue). Enjoyed the cepelinai! Wasn't sure what to expect but really enjoyed them especially with the landlords style butter and onion sauce. Highly recommended!

Cozy restaurant where you can try traditional Lithuanian food. I tried the beetroot soup and it was really tasty. As main dish, I ate the pork fillet and it was tender and delicious. The desserts were also good, specially the Dvaro cake. As for the staff, they spoke good English but the service was slow. We had to wait 15 minutes at the door where no one came to speak with us (which is ok because we didn't have a reservation, but they could tell us something at least). We also had to wait a lot inside for the desserts and for the check. I would recommend this restaurant if you have enough time and if you don't mind waiting for the service.

I went because a colleague recommended me the place. It has local food and it is good one. I found a little touristic, I enjoyed the food but it was not the best experience in the different restaurants I enjoyed on the Baltic countries.

This place is absolutely a MUST if you ever visit Vilnius. At the moment I was walking inside I felt “beautiful atmosphere and cozy place, probably gonna be expensive “ No, it wasn’t, food was delicious and the waitress service was amazing, fast, they were kind and efficient. That’s just an amazing place. I’d say the best in Vilnius!!! Food is so delicious, portions are big and pretty cheap. Beer and tea are superb. The staff are friendly. Speaks at least 4 languages (Lithuanian, Russian, English, Ukrainian, etc.)

Typical restaurant in the old town. Very central. Food is amazing and everybody is really nice. We sat downstairs where the mood is particular, like in a stone cave, fantastic! Also the terrace is really nice on a sunny day.

Great place to try local Lithuanian dishes. They have a lot of plates that are potatoe baesd and they're delicious. They have great local & house beer options as well as a local tea with berries. If you are like to try the local cuisine, this is the place to do it.

The food and price were perfect! Authentic tasty food, but THE SERVICE WAS REALLY SLOW. No one took us to the table even though there was a sign “please wait here to be seated”. Food came really slow as well. But I guess it’s worth the wait. Just would have been nice to have more servers or let us know how long we need to wait for the food.

Really good Lithuanian food. They have a nice selection of Lithuanian specialties and the menu includes a map of the country, showing where each dish is from. They were quite busy during our late lunch, but the food arrived quickly and was delicious. Our server spoke English as well, asking questions about items on the menu was not a problem. Very reasonable prices, excellent food, and good beer.

Excellent value for small money. The dishes are mostly simple, but incredibly tasty. The waitresses were polite and the service time was fast enough for a fully crowded restaurant.

Had the cepelinai and herbal tea. Food tasted good. Service quite good. No need to wait for a table. Chill atmosphere. One minor issue is that there were some flies, managers should take care of them.

Authentic Lithuanian food. We ordered a variety of starters and shared them, so we could sample a larger variety. The menu was available in Lithuanian and English. It also included pictures, so it was easy to identify what we wanted to try. Staff was efficient and friendly.

Very delicious and authentic Lithuanian dishes. A bit touristy, but friendly staff and fair prices. One recommendation: The restrooms were not very clean. The trash bin should be emptied more frequently.

Went to try traditional lithuanian food there. Soup was perfect for hot day and cepelinas was interesting. Sour cream sauce fits perfectly with it. As you can imagine ,place is very popular. We didn't book anything and get the table pretty quickly. Our waitress seemed a little cold and in a rush,but as I wrote - place is very busy.

This place is excellent! Traditional food, well presented and served at really affordable prices. Staff were good too for how busy it was. We went for lunch and managed to get a table quite easily, but the restaurant is very popular and when we walked past it in the evening, there was a long queue, so I would suggest booking if possible.

Was recommended by all the locals around for the best Cepelinai and the food was really great! I had some of the best Cepelinai I have tried and food was at a very reasonable price as well at €6.95 for two large Cepelinai which were very filling. Also tried the wild mushroom soup in rye bread that was very tasty as well. Also have outdoor seating with good service and can’t fault much. Also have good toilet facilities as well with a decent bar. Restaurant is much more bigger than in size than it looks from the outside and lots more seating indoors. Highly recommend 👌🏽

You can't book a table here so have to wait for a seat. It was busy at lunch time but was ok when we tried again for dinner. Some staff seemed inexperienced but with help from colleagues we got everything sorted and it was served quickly. Food is robust, we went with the classic Zeppelins, Beetroot Soup, Acorn Coffee and Dessert will be in photos. Really enjoyed the Acorn coffee, my first time trying it, reminded me of Orzo. Decent prices for decent food. We were seated downstairs and on the stairs I met a patron leaving and having difficulty with the stairs as in his own words he was so stuffed. So you won't leave here hungry.

For my last lunch in Vilnius, I wanted to have some traditional Lithuanian food, and this place was exactly what I was looking for. After finishing the cold beetroot soup and meat filled potato dumplings, I was ready for a nap. 😴 The waitstaff were all nice, though there wasn’t any music or much of a vibe in the restaurant. I would still return to try other things.

Great fun. We queued to get in as it is so popular. We were served very promptly by a cheery and welcoming person. We ate in the cellar area - very atmospheric. We specifically wanted to try Lithuanian traditional food. I loved the pink soup. The boiled potato dumpling was MASSIVE and quite honestly, hard going, think proper winter fuel food. Think I'd have a fried one next time as I'd prefer the texture. But you know, it's good to try all types. Really enjoyable evening and I'd go again.

At the beginning I was a bit skeptical: very touristic location in the main street of Vilnius old town and the claim of serving the real Lithuanian food. But I was tired for the long bus journey and the evening was starting to get a bit too fresh so I decided to step in. First positive point: you have to wait to be seated, great! It avoids confusion and helps the waitresses (with typical Lithuanian rural clothes) to get their job done. My waitress found me a table relatively quickly and I placed immediately all the orders, which she managed to bring avoiding me long waiting times. Service is amazing, all waitresses speak perfect English, they're extremely efficient and gentle, even if it's clear they're working under pressure. Let's come to the food: guys, this is spot on! It's real homey, traditional food prepared with care and fresh ingredients, with a fair quality-price for being in the city center, something many restaurants would use to raise their prices beyond what's reasonable. Payment with card is always possible even if I used cash to leave a good tip to the waitress, because she definitely deserved it. For all the food and beverage in my pics, I spent less than 28 Euro. I leave the comments to you. Best advice for traditional and non-touristic food in the old town!

This is a typical tourist trap restaurant, but dont mind that, its still a pretty good place! As the majority of restaurants offer pizza, pasta or burgers its great to experience traditional home cooked food for once! Prices are affordable and portions are massive! Setting is traditional Lithuanian and the food is potato and porc based. Their slogan is …just as you remember from your childhood… and thats exactly as I do. This is basic food from the past, and it probably is an acquired taste for the young, but for me it was a trip down memory lane! The potato dumplings was just like my grandmother made them (even if Im from Norway, we share a lot of traditional stuff with the Lithuanians). Well done Etno! Please visit and support! Expect some waiting time to be seated, but its worth it!

Mediocre food (Meat in Kiev cotlette seemed not so fresh to me, still edible, but not the freshest). Amount of potatoes could be bigger. Chicken filet was good. The place has a huge marketing around traditional Lithuanian menu, yet the half of the menu is basic. Probably our opinion would be better if we tried some of the traditional options instead of the dishes we took. House wine (blackcurrant red wine) was good. Mediocre service (waiting at the entrance to get seated, waiters are not confident in their actions). However, the atmosphere of the place is cool - the vibe of medieval tavern. Overall I do believe that the price corresponds to the quality and it is worth it to experience once.

We sat outdoors and it was nice people-watching. I ordered beefsteak and enjoyed that it came with a roasted tomato and a head of garlic, in addition to French fries and salad. We both liked the food so much we came back another time.

Landestypisches rustikales Essen- uns hat es geschmeckt- besonders die Stücke fetten Speck ( sowas würde ich in Deutschland nie essen- hier schmeckt es ganz anders und köstlich). Auch das dunkelbier war lecker.

When I was staying in Vilnius I went there to taste some local food according to some other recommendations. After waiting some time at 9 PM I had a table for 4 for myself. I discussed with waitress what I can taste as Lithuanian food and with her recommendations I chose the mushroom soups. And it was very tasty, but maybe there was too Mouchoise of bread. For the main course, I decided to tase the homemade sausage with some purée and vegetables. It was delicious. To d’incohérences I chose the local dessert the tinginys (lazy cake) and it was worth it. Huge and busy place. Maybe I should have chosen truly typical Lithuanian potato dumplings, because the Stroganoff I had was below my expectations. Sauce rather thin instead of creamy. The salad had too little dressing and when we asked for vinegar and oil, the waitress said that was not possible.

I was there a bit late but the food was very delicious. I had to wait a bit between dishes because everything was homemade and I ordered dessert after I finish my main dish 😄. Even tho I ate too much but all in all it's a nice restaurant with very nice waitresses

Awesome restaurant in the middle of the city. Would advise to go here. But too overrated. The food was not looking so good as on the pictures. It tasted well but not great. Waiting time is too long.

The underground has this special dungeon design which is incredible! My favourite was cold beetroot soup with potatoes, it's just amazing❤️ I ordered some village pancakes with village cheese and cumin inside, it's interesting but the dough was a bit too dry, so better share this dish or order enough drinks.

Actually one of my favorite places in Vilnius; very convenient location and excellent customer service. Quite the large menu selection and it’s been reliably delicious. Enjoyable with a small group or a solo lunch. Highly recommended! We have tried most of the items on the menu over the years and so far each time it’s been delicious.
