The six course tasting menu is delicious!! Service is great, and I love that they describe and tell the history behind each dish. I liked each item on the menu, and my favorite was the slow cooked beef; it was very tender and the vegetables were really delicious. I don't like cheese normally, but the goat cheese was so light and fluffy. I cleaned up each dish completely. The only dish I liked less was the pike fish because it was a bit tougher, but the almond sauce was very good. Overall, great service, food, and atmosphere. We had a part of 14, so we got a room to ourself and we were also able to close the door to separate the noise. Note that the six course tasting menu is over 3-4 hours. It's a good thing for me because I definitely would not be able to finish the food if I got it all at once, but I devoured it over the three and a half hours we were there!

Excellent food! We especially enjoyed the starter and the main with veal, dessert could've been a bit more tasty, but we enjoyed the stories that came along with every dish. Totally recommended, great value for money. 80 for 2 people, 1 with wine pairing

I had the pleasure of dining at Ertlio Namas during my visit to Vilnius and I would highly recommend paying a visit, or a few, when you’re in the city! I opted for the 6 - course tasting with wine pairing and would recommend going for this option if you love having a drink with your food, but if not, it’s also equally enjoyable without. I love the concept of the restaurant, as it gives you a glimpse of what the food culture and ingredients was like in the area which you don’t really find in your usual museum. The dishes all have history and stories to them which I love, the ambiance was great as well, and of course the food was delicious! My host for the dinner course was Kristina, and she was so knowledgeable, informative, and a pleasure to talk to throughout the experience! I would visit again the next time I’m around as they have seasonal menus and you’ll always have something different depending on when you are visiting!

Fantastic set menu Lithuanian restaurant. You're served with 7-8 courses (it seems like much more) and each course comes with a carefully matched wine (or in one case cider). The service is excellent and the food and drink fantastic. Its always packed so you need to book. It's also in a lovely traditional house. A lot of locals use the restaurant which is always a good sign.

I recommend visiting this restaurant as a must when you are in Vilnius. First, it is located in the city center on an old street and has an elegant interior. Secondly, you will definitely be impressed by the dishes that you will eat. These are incomparable and unforgettable tastes, and your eyes will be delighted by the original presentation of dishes. The waiters impressed me with their attentiveness and knowledge of the history of Vilnius, the building of the restaurant, the origin of dishes and wines. Gentle music will relax your mind after everyday tasks. You will feel like you are at the reception of the Lithuanian king⚜️👑

Not great, not terrible. It was a pretty average experience. The food was relatively good and is truly showing some of the best Lithuanian dishes. Nothing extraordinary for a gastronomic restaurant, but 7/10. The waitress was really good, and did the best she could managing the all the room by herself. If I remember correctly there were 5+ table and 20+ guests. One person could not possibly serve, explain about the dishes and take care of the drinks. It was just after Christmas, so I assume the restaurant was understaffed and it was an extraordinary situation, but it doesn’t change the fact that the service was average for a place with this standing. The restaurant has at least 1 room downstairs and 2 upstairs. One of the room is pretty noisy upstairs. I find it strange that there is no carpet, paintings or curtains to at least try to absorb a bit the sound. The room is just cold, with high ceiling. After changing the room it was better, but still something they could improve. Last but not least, the wine pairing is pretty sad. If I remember correctly the price is pretty decent, and lower than the average wine pairing price in other restaurants, but the quantity were really small. I would pay more to have more than one sip.

It is very easy to flip, when you try to make a fusion between acient grandgrandmother tastes with modern cuisine. Here is done huge work and the fusion really works. When *** are given in Lithuania, this is very strong pretender to sport a Michelin *. And really interesting pearls you can discover in wine list. Definitely a must is to take wine pairing.

We came here on Christmas Eve to try a set of 12 degustation courses with Lithuanian traditional Christmas food. The table was reserved a month before and on this day they served only one menu. However, it took us almost 4 hours to finally get the last piece of the set. Most of the time we have just waited for the food in the cellary with no waitress nearby. A set of 12 courses is just a joke. At the beginning, our glasses were filled with assumably some tap water which had some chemical smell and taste. After waiting for 40 minutes we got three first dishes: two types of quite common bread, mini bun with chanterelles, and local drink also made from bread. Nothing special, I would say below average. After another 30 minutes we got two micro sandwiches with herring. Again nothing special. We waited another 30 minutes to get the traditional porridge which had no taste at all, I would say uneatable. Now imagine our feelings: this is a Christmas Eve time, we spent 2 hours waiting for degustation amount of common bread, porridge and herring. During next two hours, with the same ridiculous waiting time we got three vegan dumplings (worse than in regular stores), local beetroot soup (finally good taste, but very little amount served in a big flat plate...), and a cod (good one). For dessert we got small buns with cranberry jam (very dry and almost no jam inside), cookies with poppy seeds served with plant milk (disgusting taste), and kisel (common drink). I understand that traditional food is not a high kitchen, but when you visit such places you expect the recipes would be adapted and served in accordance with the place and time. But it is very dissappointing coming to a restarunt and spend 4 hours (the initial offer said that the whole menu will take up to 2.5 hours) to get very common food. Resuming, we have lost 4 hours of Christmas Eve time and paid 150 euros for the degustation of bad food, unfriendly service, and bad mood.

Excellent food and wine. Had the six course menu and enjoyed every bite. Nothing is left to chance here, there is perfection in every detail. You also get a story behind every meal which I found very interesting. Remember to set of enough time though, the six course menu will take at least three hours.

Great restaurant in the city center of Vilnius. The price is good (4 course dinner with wines was 50 euro). Friendly personnel who have a great sense of humor. Perfect for a family dinner or dinner with friends. The place is modern, but the courses are based on traditional Lithuanian food. With every course comes a small historical context, which is very nice. I would recommend it for the better dining experience in Vilnius!

Amazing from all the aspects! Food was delicious and very special, the history behind it was interesting to hear and the service was 10+! We were 7 friends gathering few days before our wedding. The waiter contributed to our good mood with her sublime service and we ended up tasting some spirits up to 75% strong. In the end of the dinner the head chef and owner of the place came by to greet all the guests, table by table, which gave the experience even more soul. All in all a place i will come back to next time I am in Vilnius, no doubt.

This is a really brilliant concept, a tasting menu that takes you through the evolution of Lithuanian food and cookery. The staff are endearing and enthusiastic, the quality of the food is excellent, and the style is the right balance of authentic, artistic and playful without being too pretentious. Given that it's an entire evening of entertainment, not just a meal, I think it's very good value for money.

Ertlio Namas is certainly one of the top restaurants in Vilnius. At an affordable price, you will get a menu of very well presented dishes with Lithuanian (or, probably due to the current war, Ukrainian) background, in a modern and creative interpretation, which is not for the sake of novelty but lifts a traditional dish to a new level. Of course, attempting something new comes with a risk. Nonetheless, there were no flaws in the dishes, though some were "only" good. But others were excellent or even fantastic (the borscht) and that is what counts.. So why not 5 stars? Well, there are several reasons. One is that my table was not well-lit and yes, I like to see what I eat. Also, the plates/bowls had a rough surface, so forks and knives scratched pretty loudly in them. And there is the staff which is indeed professional and knowledgeable. Still, not getting a "thank you" for the tip and not even a good-bye makes you feel like you are leaving not as a respected guest but something else. All this should be easy to fix and should not stop you to go there.

What a wonderful restaurant. Absolutely loved their 6-meal tasting experience with wine pairing. The food was wow — together with wine, both food and wine was opening up in a different light. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Loved the stories of each meal too, it definitely made this experience even better. The ambiance was amazing too. Will definitely come back and am very excited to try their future tasting menus.

Ertlio Namas is a combination of different arts that you will definitely enjoy. We tried the 6 course tasting dinner with wine pairing. Each of the dishes comes one at a time with the wine pairing so you can enjoy the craft of plating, the craft of narrating the story behind each dish and the craft of cooking. Delicious and amazing experience! And you are already immersed into Lithuanian history and traditions in a modern point of view. The selection of wines for each of the dishes were not as expected though. There was 1 or 2 wines that definitely paired but not all. The good thing is that you have the option to choose pairing or not. So you can choose a wine bottle for the whole experience anyway, and the experience is worthy! Don’t miss it out!

This is quite expensive experience here. Good but not exceptional. The service is top class, wines are good or very good. The food was nice, but nothing really exceptional. So nice evening out if you are paying with company money, you are invited by some wealthy friends or you have simply big wallet.

I had the pleasure of dining at "Ertlio Namas" in Vilnius on the 30th of April to celebrate my brother's birthday, and it was an experience that truly exceeded our expectations. We opted for the six-course degustation menu, each dish a creative homage to traditional Lithuanian cuisine, yet presented with a contemporary twist. The culinary journey was a dance of flavors, an exquisite blend of the old and the new that had us reminiscing about our childhood. Some of the dishes were so evocative of our grandmother's cooking, we were instantly transported back to our youth, tasting her love and care in every bite. Each course was a beautiful surprise that had us eagerly anticipating the next. What set this place apart was not just the food, but the engaging narrative that came with it. The staff at Ertlio Namas were not just friendly, they were storytellers, passionately sharing the history behind each dish and its significance to Lithuanian cuisine. This added a layer of depth to our dining experience, making us appreciate each morsel on our plates even more. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, matching the genuine hospitality we encountered from every member of the staff. We felt well taken care of, making our special celebration even more memorable. If you're looking for a place where you can savor authentic Lithuanian dishes that tell a story, served by a team who truly care about their craft and heritage, then Ertlio Namas is a must-visit. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a deeper understanding of Lithuanian culinary history. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. From my family to yours, ačiū, Ertlio Namas, for a truly unforgettable evening. We can't wait to return and sample more of your inspired creations. For the team fill the menu section in Google Maps profile.

Athmosphere was average. The flavors of what we ate were fine but not wow for sure. It says that story of the food will be told but it was just couple small sentences by waiters. At the 3th couse waiters told us “its crowded so we cant tell you story of food because we dont have time for this”. Very interesting behavior for a fine dine place.

Absolutely amazing, couldn’t fault anything! We went for a six course tasting menu, the food was delicious, service was great and the waitress knew what she was talking about :) you get little stories about the origin of the dishes. Had high expectations at Ertlio Namas in Vilnius, touted as one of the city's best. Opted for the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairings. The Good: - Some dishes were hits (loved the beetroot soup with lamb, zander fish). - Waitress excelled at narrating dish origins, highlighting Lithuania's culinary heritage. - Decent wine pairings. The Bad: - Basic restaurant setting lacked charm. - Dreadfully slow service; waited over an hour and a half for the first course. Total dinner time stretched over four hours for two. No compensatory gestures despite staff apologies. Conclusion: For one of Vilnius's priciest spots, the value didn’t match up. While not a disaster, the overall experience fell far short of Michelin-star expectations. Ertlio Namas tantalizes with its menu and heritage focus but fails in execution and service efficiency.

Dined here with my partner on a Sunday night. The experience left me feeling robbed and unsatisfied for the following reasons. I tried to book online for the Saturday night several times but didn't have a reply. (Should have taken this as an omen.) I tried reaching the restaurant at an email address and they finally replied to tell me that Saturday was booked up but that they could take us on the Sunday night. So we agreed to the Sunday night, however when we arrived on the night they couldn't find our booking. I showed the waitress my email confirmation. She reluctantly put us on the very first table in the restaurant (which was wonky). No greetings, it didn't feeling welcoming at all. The small room we were sat in was uncomfortable and lacked any ambience. After all this I tried to put it aside and enjoy the night. We were doing the 4 course dinner with matched wines and I had read wonderful reviews and accolades for Ertlio Namas. But I was let down. Every course was tiny. Lacked any real flavour direction and was not the 'wow' factor that we had expected for the price point. The service was bizarre, and our waitress even poured us a Pinot Noir and said 'this is the Pinot Gris for your next course.' Our matched wines were pathetic. Made worse by glassware that tasted dusty. None of the wine was overly nice with tiny pours. This restaurant does not live up to the hype and does not have good enough food or service for the price point. The only positive is that the food looked cute.

Very good and refined tasting experience. 6 courses menu, with each time, clever marriages between savors and textures. Beaver pate, with home made bread is an interesting start, followed by a wonderful beef cheek with céleri soup, very delicate. The doe deer roast was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying wines (Sicily and Southern France), were a perfect match. All this with a smiling and helpful service, narrating each meal’s and their ingredients in Lituania history.

Me and my wife were very surprised of this place. First of all - One of the best foods I've tried in Vilnius in a while, simple ingredients, but so amazing taste, all dishes are historic Lithuanian foods. Second - service was fantastic, and each dish came with a story from where and how it originated. Highly recommended.

Food varies from super tasty sausages to really nice seafood dishes . Also great selection of German beers . Prices are not low but half of the dishes are big enough for two people. I came on a whim, predominately because their menu promised to touch upon so many Lithuanian dishes. I loved it. The waitress accompanied each dish with an explanation of how it tied into local cuisine. I also had the wine pairing, many of which originated in Portugal, but they were all delicious and accompanied each dish very well. It’s great value, a great experience and I can’t wait to return.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff (especially Martyna who also speaks french). Visited with a family. Tried 4dishes tasting - was more than enough for a dinner. Food is super fresh and has quite rich palette of taste. The place is bit too loud when crowded - sometimes difficult to hear the stories.

The food was excellent. I’ve tried several different tasting menus in Vilnius and this was hands down the best! Our server Martyna was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the entire dining experience.

Amazing place, which serves historical Lithuanian cuisine. I’m surprised that restaurant let’s you to travel through time and to taste interesting and unique dishes for an affordable and reasonable prices. Excellent food quality, super friendly and informative staff with interesting story telling. Highly recommended to visit either for two or with bigger group of friends. One of the best restaurants with tasting menu in Vilnius.

What an experience! Much better than a Michelin star restaurant! Various combinations in all dishes will bring you to heaven. We had 6 courses with matching wine - highly recommended! Big thank to the staff! Kornelija, Martyna and Kristina did a great job welcoming us 👌🏻

Wonderful dining experience. The food was so inventive and the flavours on each dish were balanced. The pheasant, which looked like a mushroom, stole the show. Staff were amazing throughout.

Most of the food was great, some was just okay. Consistency is a bit of an issue because we've received different cook levels on meat, also some of the side pieces tasted very differently for two different portions. It was also extremely loud in the restaurant which ruined the atmosphere but that was because somebody was having a big party there. Other than that it was great and I can recommend giving it a shot.

My husband & I went to this restaurant whilst on a mini break to this amazing city. We absolutely loved this restaurant. We opted for the 6 course taster menu & was not disappointed by any aspect of the experience. The food was exceptional & good value (€60pp). Great customer service - the food was explained by the waiters & a brief history shared, making it a great experience - special thanks to Vyntenis & Veronika who did a fantastic job. The restaurant is classy & tastefully decorated - it offers a special experience. Can thoroughly recommend & would definitely look to return when next In Vilnius - thank you

Astounding and outstanding food, and service. It was more of an experience than a dinner, with each carefully curated and delicious dish from the 6-course tasting menu coming with a story (for us, told in English!). We had it with the wine pairing which we recommend. By the end of the meal we felt perfectly sated but not too full and totally delighted. By the end of the meal I was moved by the love and attention which went into every single detail of the meal from conception to table. Wonderful!

You deserve at least 1 Michelin star. The concept, the food, the service, the ambience - everything is top notch and thought through. We had a dinner booked for 4 and have enjoyed every moment of that evening. We ordered the 6 course tasting menu without wine pairing. The menu was creative, made with local ingredients, and beautifully presented throughout the entire dinner. The wine card is also pretty impressive - we found some excellent French wines that are no longer seen in other European restaurants and Ertlio Namas just happens to have them on the list for a very reasonable price. Kudos to Kotryna and the rest of the service team - we were really well looked after and our foreign guest felt very much welcome and delighted to get to know Lithuanian cuisine a little better. Thank you for the evening and the experience, we'll certainly be back

We came for dinner at Ertlio Namas on a Sunday and were warmly welcomed by one of the servers. We got to our table and shortly after the introduction of the restaurant the meal started - we pre-chose the 06 courses menu during the reservation process. *But the meal started before they asked us about drinks. So we order a bottle of champagne that came after the meal already was in our table waiting for it. We felt a bit of a rush on service and putting food down, as we were finishing a dish we could see the next one sitting on the beverage counter behind us waiting for its turn. Our Venison was cold - The overall experience was cool and interesting , they tell a story about each one of the dishes and work only with Lithuanian products. The dishes were creative, full of textures and nicely presented. The last bite - Smoked Raspberries Chocolate truffles were incredibly delicious. It was a good cost benefit dinner considering Vilnius fine dining prices - You will not only eat well but also learn a bit more about Lithuanian culture. Definitely a place to visit if you are not from here or if you have guests coming in from abroad. - The staff speak English and Lithuanian - Big thanks to the team

(Translated by Google) The food is really delicious, with interesting combinations and history! But we were very disappointed with the service. Instead of a culinary trip, we got a repetition of the engraved text, it seems the waiters don’t like her job or it was just a bad day, we felt even a little guilty when we decided to try the tasting dinner. It is a pity that we have not been able to experience the full joy of a tasting dinner. (Original) Maistas tikrai skanus, įdomūs deriniai ir istorija! Bet likome labai nusivylę aptarnavimu. Vietoj kulinarinės kelionės, gavome iškalto teksto atkartojimą, panašu, kad padavėjai nepatinka jos darbas ar tiesiog buvo bloga diena, pasijautėme net šiek tiek kalti nusprendę išbandyti degustacinę vakarienę. Gaila, kad nepavyko patirti visapusiško degustacinės vakarienės džiaugsmo.

(Translated by Google) The food is not only delicious but also interestingly served with stories. The dishes are gorgeous. Clean. You need to be prepared that table water makes up a significant part of the bill. And I would advise checking the bill, because in our case, the barista made a mistake of € 20 to his side. (Original) Maistas ne tik skanus, bet ir įdomiai patiektas su pasakojimais. Indai puošnūs. Švaru. Reikia būti pasiruošus, kad stalo vanduo sudaro nemažą sąskaitos dalį. The dinner was nice and we enjoyed our evening. Each dish has a small story that goes along with it told by the waiter. The star less was because I didn't like the deer pate and the wine pairings didn't match the dishes. So my advise is to skip the wine pairings. Other than that it is well worth the experience.

A beautiful romantic family space where historic Lithuanian cuisine tastefully blends with contemporary culture and technology. Restorant food is seasonal: the table serves what can be picked in the garden at the time, hunted in the woods, caught in the river or lake. You should reserve table a week before. Very authentic place i would recommend to every Vilnius guest

While this is an excellent high-end restaurant, this is not really a place to ever come back to as this is a tasting-ceremony-only concept. You can have a tasting of four or six traditional Lithuanian meals (no, potatoes are not a part of it) from around 500 years ago. The portions are pretty small but are very delicious and each of them is accompanied by a story of why this had been a part of upper class Lithuanians’ menu many centuries ago. The break between servings is around 20 minutes. I really loved the venison steak - it was one of the most tender pieces of meat I ever had. I asked if I could come back and have just that as a meal and the answer, unfortunately, was a “no” hence my earlier comment about no point of coming back.

The place was nice and the service was at high quality. The + is that the food was interesting and the wines were extremely tasty But after being there I and 2 additional people I have been with really wanted to go somewhere else to eat as we were still hungry. That was not nice. Portions are very tiny. And I understand that this is a tasting dinner, but compared to “Džiaugsmas”, where the only drawback is that there is too much food (which is still a very good drawback), here the experience lacked more food on the table and more full plates. I did not even realized where was the main course as the portions are just… Nice place, but I don’t think I would go here back having in mind what you can get in Vilnius.

😐 The staff was not friendly and seemed very unprofessional. I had to wait for at least 20 minutes before I placed my order, and the restaurant was not busy at all. Had to draw attention to myself to finally place an order. The food was mediocre, not worth the money. It was not served as described...
