Room are ok for the price you paid. Breakfast is fine. But the room dont have a lock... The cleaning lady just come in and out the room with no sign. They should get a lock or busy/needs clean sign on the door for some customer privacy.

The breakfast was rich in sorts of meals, types of bread etc. The only minus comes to a room - water wa sleaking from the shower stall. We noticed it on the floor just under the shower stall. The room was also cold, heaters were off...

they don't have any restrictions for children age, yet i and my 2 year old son were literally kicked, for dirty carpet which is simply normal since room do wear and small broken painting glass which was handed in the middle above the head which is hazardous and should be there in first place. they complain about baby crying tho if hotel doesn't have age restrictions they should complain at all. we were living abroad in hotels for almost a year, first time something like that happened, when i politely asked to explain situation, since we weren't kicked out even doing real damage, another random completely irrelevant old women insert herself into situation and acted aggressively and threatened me, next too me were standing hotel manager and receptionist none of them didn't do anything at all to stop it. its a uncivilised, ignorant, low quality place. i don't recommend.

The location is ideal when exploring the old city. Very close to Ausros Vartai. Hotel in an adapted old building. Very helpful staff , willing to give advice. Breakfast admittedly the same every day but the products fresh and tasty.

We had 2 nights including breakfast. The room was okay, but for almost 2 hours we had no electricity. But the woman at the reception was so nice and anything worked well. The breakfast was not so nice. Just bread and hamburger buns for breakfast? It was too less for a 3 Star hotel. Free parking behind the hotel. It was only 10 minutes to walk in the city. At breakfast the staff can be friendly, they Look always grumpy

A good Hotel with a good location in old town of Vilnius. A short walk of about 5-600 meter and you're in the old square. The breakfast is good and the service is great and very helpful. It has a really cozy feel of coming home to granny's, definitely recommend to visit 😁🤗

Nice rooms and okay breakfast for the price. Excellent location, close to the old town, with parking included. A nice experience overall and the plants gave the hotel a nice touch.

Location is amazing. Breakfast was alright but nothing to write home about. Quiet nights due to the courtyard. However, there was a bit of a funky smell in the room. Price-performance ratio overall seems to be good.

Room had a overwhelming smoke-stench. Hoping our clothing wasnt destroyed. Otherwise clean and great location.

Room far too small for 2 people. Bathroom very small nowhere to hang wet towels. Odd configuration of rooms. Had to take 2 lifts to the first floor. Basic breakfast. Close to old town.

Enjoyed short sojourn here. Situated close to the old town, the hotel is perfectly placed. The plants and calm nature added a subtle touch. Service was excellent and rooms were stupendous. Certainly would recomend.

We stayed at the City Gate Hotel for 6 nights a couple of weeks ago. We chose to stay in this hotel due to its good location. We negotiated the price, a day before we checked in via e-mail, with the hotel representative of the hotel (a woman) based on an offer we had from Hotel.com (we mentioned it in our mail), for the most spacy and lighted room in the hotel, ready to pay more than for a standard room.. When we arrived we got a different room. When we complained about it, we were rudely rejected by the women in the front desk, with whom we were dealing previously by mail, and were asked to leave the hotel, and as we kept arguing we were even threatening to call the police !! We experienced humiliation and contempt as we never faced before. We are an elderly couple and looking for another hotel after 6 hours trip and, already finished unpacking, was out of the question. Apart from the good location, we did not find any advantage in this hotel. Low grade and unvaried breakfast, small and worn towels. You need to use 2 elevators to get to 3rd floor, no safe, but as mentioned above, more than all offensive attitude of woman in the receptionist. We asked to speak with the manager to found right of the beginning that she was recruited to the position of the rude woman of the reception. We were rejected with disdainful hand gestures, the moment we started to talk and she was not even ready to discuss with us the case. We cannot recommend this 3 stars hotel at all. And with regard to the price we paid, it didn't justify the value !

Location, location, location! This affordable and clean hotel is ideal for those who want to explore Vilnius' Old Town as it is just steps away from the Gate of Dawn (as is reflected in its name). The room was on the smaller side but it was clean and had all the amenities you expect to find at a 3-star hotel. I wish they had more wall power outlets (which is, however, a common issue in Eastern Europe) and softer and more comfortable pillows. I had to leave very early for my flight so I cannot comment on the quality of their breakfast, which was included in the room price. Overall, if you need a quick 1-2-night stay in the historic centre of the city, this is a great option.

Value for money. Had a comfortable stay. Rooms were neat and clean. Cons - little vegetarian options in breakfast and too small a bath area for a stout man like me 😀

I have forgotten my keys in my room, realizing this only after I had left the country and the hotel was so nice to send them abroad for me.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is great - a short 15min bus ride from the airport (bus stop just next to the hotel), 15min to the bus station and old town with most things in walking distance. There's a supermarket and a market just minutes down the road. The rooms are quite spartan - towels and soap are provided but no hot water kettle. Water dispensers were available but they were empty, and when we approached reception, they said to wait for the next day. Breakfast was included in our rate - it was basic and decent. We paid about 170USD for 2 persons for 3 nights, which is very good value. I'd recommend if you are just looking for something simple and affordable.

Alright stay for the money. I went for a single room, and it was just that a small single bed up against a window with massive floor space, only filled with a desk which had seen better days. Not sure why they didn’t fit a queen or slightly bigger bed in. The room had air con which was a big plus. Bathroom was recently renovated and very good. The breakfast was also pretty good with variety of cold and hot food. Only thing missing was the tea and coffee in the room and a safe for valuables.

Very good hotel in the historic city centre of Vilnius. Reasonable prices, very good breakfast, quite comfortable rooms, very friendly service and (especially appreciated) a safe and secure private parking facility for motorcycles!

I recently stayed at City-Gate and overall had a pleasant experience. The room had all the necessities and the breakfast was nice. The hotel was mostly clean, although not excellent. The best part was the price point, which was good for a short time stay.

Great location just outside the Gates of Dawn in the Old Town. Got a single room with the basic amenities. The most important was a working a/c as it was quite warm in Vilnius at time of visit. The hotel breakfast was nice in a typical continental style. Staff was helpful with the inquiries I had. Prices was reasonable at time of booking. Recommended.

Nice hotel near the city center and not far from the railway station and bus station. It will not talk too much time to go to the city center to the main attractions. The rooms are nice and comfortable but not more. Pleasant breakfast is served as the morning.

Very nice simple hotel near the gate to the old city of Vilnius. Breakfast buffet is simple but very good. Plenty of herring. Parking available. The hotel is in a historic building with a very interesting layout. The restaurant is charming.

GOOD: breakfast, the sandwich option for leaving early, cleanness, location, taxi booking service, kettle if asked for, calm, good restaurant just outside NOT SO GOOD: no heating, extremely hard and thick pillows with no alternative, and two facts that absolutely reduced the perfect score: 1) room service bangs on your door (twice!) although the "do not disturb" sign was outside 2) each room has a main lamp above the bed that cannot switched off; it can only be sommes and shines on you permanently The two points left us literally sleepless for two days.

For the price, the room was decent with all necessities covered. Staff was helpful. The room got cleaned relatively well. Location was perfect. The pillows were not so comfortable though.

👍 The environment around the Belmontas restaurant is very nice. It is a path at the water that I recommend you to walk. Interesting and a good mix between old and new when it comes to the building. The food does not fully match the charm of the house and surroundings, but is still tasty. Many dishes...
