Great experience, although it was difficult for us to see it, it is briefly signposted

The owners do not look for compromise when it comes to 1) being spotlessly clean 2) “newly refurbished” look 3) very positive carma. Really really impressive accommodation! You may be puzzled by a bit Soviet-style entrance to the building, but as you enter the Purple Pillow this feeling is completely gone. NoteI small but high-value things, such as very comfy mattress, tea/kettle/porcelain mug, douche cabin, nice carpet floor in the room, etc etc. But there are things which owners could not change: the street is noisy and you need to keep the window closed. There is no air conditioning, which is completely OK for me now (May). Public parking is possible on the streets nearby (Yellow Zone, €0.60 per hour). Hosts are very good and passionate people, you see it in how carefully they take care of the rooms. THANK YOU.

Clean, friendly and close to the station

Behind an austere facade a small, quiet, very clean hotel. Rooms with a modern shower (you can listen to music), a kettle, a hairdryer and a refrigerator available in the corridor. The management couple is also very welcoming. Very good value for money, a stone's throw from the 2 stations.

Very clean, polite staff. Coffee, tea and water in the room. Not very nice from the outside. The tenement house is being renovated and rebuilt. But when it's over, it will be a wonderful place. Very good location near the old town. Three minutes from the station, where city buses also depart.

It is a Latvian private B&B type accommodation, but there is no breakfast, there is a lot of noise when the windows are opened, and the interior was very clean and nice as it was newly remodeled. However, there are still many things that need to be improved, such as floor noise.

Very central location, close to the train and bus station. Exceptional cleanliness. Fantastic shower. Everything very nice and new. The owner is very kind. I recommend it.
