Be aware of the GIANT portion in this restaurant!!! I think I was already full after the Beetroot soup, which was surprisingly delicious. And I almost fainted after getting my ‘1-person portion’ pork neck. This is at least for 2 ppl! It was so juicy inside while crispy outside. The flavor is perfect. I love it! Service was friendly. One waitress explained all my questions about the food in good English.

I also had blood sausage - the portion was quite big but not that tasty. The searing area is cramped and a company from the nearby table could not get in / out without disturbing us. If you’re ever stranded in the southern parts of Vilnius, Naujamiestis, this traditional Lithuanian restaurant is a safe haven, providing solid Lithuanian food and drinks for reasonable prices and served by nice and accommodating staff. They also serve food later than most other places in the area (kitchen open until 2200). And if you have a thing for ceramic jugs, they have 3500 of them hanging from the walls and ceiling all over the restaurant.

This restaurant has quickly become my favourite spot in the GTA for brunch and dinner. I have recommended Community to over 10 people that I know, with nothing but amazing things to say. The food is always top notch, so much flavour and the presentation never disappoints. The staff is so kind, professional and incredibly accommodating. If I had to choose my favourite plate on the menu, it would be the Vegan lovers flatbread, the sweet and spicy lettuce cups, or the caesar wrap with truffles fries ... and you can't forget the pancakes ... so good. lol If you're looking for a restaurant that has a lot of personality & great food, this will also be your new favourite spot.

Visited twice while in Lithuania and this by far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in the Baltics. The food they serve is authentic Lithuanian at its best. First we visited for their lunch special and had sausages, mashed potatoes, cabbage and pork spear. The second time for dinner and be on the lookout for “Serious Dish” on the menu. Trust me, it is quite serious and great if you are very hungry. Service is attentive, professional and very friendly. We even left a tip which is rare for us to do in Lithuania. If you are reading this far then trust me as being a savant reviewer that this restaurant is simply a place of excellence. Looking forward to coming back next time in Vilnius.

I ordered žemaicių and it's indeed quite big. Although the potato pancake is delicious, the meat inside is not hot, just warm. When the food gets cold, the taste becomes greasy, and I couldn't finish it, so I had to pack it back. I've heard they have delicious kvass drink, but I couldn't find it. Besides, the menu shows the price is 7, but I got charged 7.5 for the food, not sure if it's because the takeaway bags.

Tasty potatoe based traditional lithuanian food

The serving portions are HUGE in this restaurant. If the waiter had to remind you that you might have ordered too much, then you DEFINITELY have ordered too much. The pork dish I ordered could easily have fed 4 adults. Not only did I not finish the meat, I barely touched the mash potatoes. I've never heard of beer soup before, that is, until I came here. The beer soup was excellent with just a tiny hint of alcohol that really elevates it to the next level. My favourite item here though, were the zeppelins. I could never have guessed it was made out of potatoes because it was so chewy just like glutinous rice. Also, the minced pork in the centre was excellent when paired with the potato and some gravy. That is the one dish I have craved for since I left Lithuania but sadly, there is no Lithuanian restaurant in Singapore - somebody should open one!

Great local restaurant, a little bit far away from the center but is really worth the trip. The dishes are interesting and big and cost half the price of what you can get in the city center. It was amusing to see that some of the dishes in the menu are marked as "serious dish", indicating they are larger than you'd expect. I've had the spareribs and they were quite extraordinary, different than the conventional way to prepare it, having much more meat o to the bones.

We also ordered the Very Berry Sweet Smoothie which was, as advertised, berry and sweet :) Don't be afraid of the vegan menu - the food is delicious and the 'burger' did a great job emulating an actual meat burger (my husband ate it and he always prefers 'real' beef and to his surprise, really enjoyed it). Staff were lovely and the food was ready and packed when I arrived. It is a bit on the pricey side, but that would be expected given the ingredients.

Changing my review. I talked to Alka one of the owners, and we came to a resolution and I'm happy to hear some of the changes being made in the kitchen. I have had many good experiences, I'm excited to order more in the future. This is a place I order from almost every week. The portions are generous and they now implemented smaller side options which is awesome!

I am gluten and dairy free, and it is often hard to find exciting new places to try. We ordered a bunch of the dishes to try, such as the truffle fries poutine, potato skin nachos, the flat breads, cauli wings, crab cakes all were delicious!! Customer service was excellent. This was my first time coming, we had take out, but as soon as the lock down subsides we will come in for dine in too. I have now told multiple people about this place! Excited to try again :) thanks for making gluten free enjoyable!

As usual, this place is amazing! We just ordered dinner tonight and no regrets! I really enjoyed the crab cake burger, while my husband basically inhaled his "Big Mac". After a bit, we'll dig into our slice of Rolo cake and wish that we had each gotten our own instead of fighting over the last bite. LOL! We're trying to do our part to support local businesses during Covid (especially plant-based ones! ) and Community makes it very easy for us. We'll be back soon!

My partner and I tried Community Restaurant for the first time yesterday. It's great to have all-vegan restaurants to go to! We ordered the caesar wraps- the food was okay (the tofu was very flavourful) and portions were large. Unfortunately my partner found a human hair (a piece approximately two inches long) in her wrap. Neither of us could stomach another bite more after that and the rest of our $40 meal went to waste. Without the hair situation I don't think the food would have been enough to bring us back, but after finding the hair, we won't be back.

Our server was amazing and she helped me and my friend chose the dishes as we were so confused. I tried their Burger(Crab Cake Burger) and the Patty is made in restaurant from scratch. It is so juicy and crunch and was delicious. My friend had Butter Tofu which is one of their popular dishes. Both the dishes were amazing. Loved the food and the ambience and will definitely go there again.

Had Valentines special last night. And have ordered mushroom truffle Flatbread in the past. Fantastic inventive vegan food! We enjoyed everything. From the beet risotto and dill potato gnocchi to the lovely vanilla berry cake and Black Forest cake. Loved it. Love that they're local. Easy to pick up or order through Uber Eats. Will keep going back.

Got take out from here today. Service was friendly and the place is welcoming and elegant inside. We had the butter tofu and the Big Mac. The fries that came with the Big Mac were amazing, which is sometimes hard to come by! The burger was okay but the gluten free bun they used isn’t the best (it’s too thick and doughey). The butter tofu sadly wasn’t at all what we were expecting. We had hoped for a creamy, slightly sweet but well seasoned dish, just like the original (probably with a cashew cream subbing in for the heavy cream). What we got was an extremely spicy and oily dish that was noticeably heavy on the “garam” spices (unusual for a “butter” dish), and way more like a vindaloo. Would be good if we were expecting that but it just wasn’t. (I’m South Asian, which is perhaps why I had such specific expectations for this dish.) The rice was also undercooked (slightly hard) and watery. Side pappadum was great though, and the portion was very generous! I hope to be back and try more dishes, maybe our selections just weren’t the right ones today! I’d also love to dine in one day, given the elegant yet laid back atmosphere. Portions are very generous, prices slightly steep but not considerably, as they match the restaurant experience, and it’s evident that fresh ingredients are used and no shortcuts are taken. The many allergen friendly options are also appreciated. There’s room for improvement: maybe a new GF bun would be better (for ex. the one at Burger’s Priest is great, and vegan), and Indian inspired dishes could be altered to match their descriptions. A great place overall though with so many options; a welcome and special addition to Oakville and the GTA’s vegan food!

Had a great culinary experience!

In times of pandemic a takeout is more than just meal after long day of work. It’s also a way to show our support to local restaurants. Here is why we are leaving only two stars: While dining-in can have a good first impression, takeout is stripped of the usual atmosphere and it leaves you solely with the opinion of the food We ordered two hamburgers with fries, mac & cheese and gnocchi. All meals were ridiculously salty (hence the first star taken). The gnocchi on top of being salty had a hair in it which is a huge concern hence the second star taken, and the hamburger patties are generic “beyond meet” which we overlooked when placing an order. The third star isn’t taken for patties though since it was our fault for not reading the menu but for the price vs quality and quantity. We payed $110 for our order (3 adults and a child) which according to our experience is much more than this mediocre meal was worth. We wish you all the best but we will not be returning.

Worst Customer Service Staff.

First time here. Food was amazing the staff are exceptional at what they provide and couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you so much for what you do and for housing such a fantastic ‘community’ 😉🥰

I came here for the first time on my birthday on Wednesday and it was so good I came back on Saturday! Not only are the owner's wonderful you can really tell they take pride and care about their customers and the food they produce. Quality, taste, presentation, speed and a friendly, warm, welcoming environment. They have it all! You won't be disappointed. Vegan or non-vegan alike! Highly recommend! I wish I could give them more stars!

Ordered for the first time from here today. My wife, oldest daughter, and I had the vegan lovers flat bread, poutine, gnocchi, and rolo cake. The food was unbelievable. The portions are huge! We are blown away and will most definitely be ordering from Community Restaurant again!

Went for my wife's birthday lunch (she is lactose intolerance). When I saw the menu, most of the things were there which my wife loves but cant eat becaus eof milk products. Went there, staff was welcoming, owner ALKA came to us to greet and then after we were having our food she came back and confirmed all okay. Food was better than what we imagined and the atmosphere of the restaurant too. Highly recrecommend for the vegans or if some one wants to clear that even vegan foods tastes good( i am not a vegan but still loved the food)

This was my first time trying a vegan restaurant and I was really impressed. The menu had a great variety of dishes and is great for sharing. All the dishes were really unique in their tastes as well.

Best vegan place ever! My boyfriend and I came all the way from brampton to try this place and it was worth the trip. The food, and customer service is amazing. Definitely should try the mac and cheese!

Great food as always. The portions are big, and I mean really big, so don't expect to just grab a little bite here. You can even ask for half portions. The atmosphere is nice, as well, quite cozy

Thanks for redeeming the food scene of Vilnius for me with your great hospitality and generous food portions. The food here is superlative, not only A LOT, and they say that on the menu ;))) but it's delicious and the ambience is cozy and natural. I think given the quality of food they have a lot of clients and time to wait might be long, in my case they said the shank will be ready in half hour, actually it was ready in 20 minutes. Will go again, I'm only sorry I discovered this place so late UPDATE: I had the ribs and the meats special entree, that's not a starter, it could feed a hungry man by itself, had four beers too, the barley beer is the best I've had in Lithuania

Superb local food. We shared the Uoletis sausage which came with rye bread, potatoes, stewed cabbage with bacon, pickles and some tomato. Possibly the best meal I’ve eaten in the Baltics! Delicious. Warm welcome and service.

One of the best Lithuanian gastronomy 's restaurant in the country!!! The prices are cheap in comparison to the size of the food (which is massive), the taste it's nice and the service it's amazing. The waiter was very funny and cheeky and I really appreciate a good customer service!!

It is mostly a place for locals, with a nice environment and a large menu of tradicional food. We ordered dumplings and duck, both dishes had good size and great quality. The price was cheaper than average. Beer was also good, we ordered two local brands with names too complicated to remember.

This place has GREAT food. On a previous night we went to another local cuisine restoraunt, and it was really good, but this place tops it. Portions are HUGE, high quality made, staff is helpful and fast. If you are still unsure, just look. at. the. food. p.s. also its affordable

Came here on a weekday for dinner. Was pretty crowded, and the restaurant seemed short staffed, so service was slow — took a while to get seated, took a while for order to get taken, but when staff was communicating with me, everything was great (recommendations, spoke English well, etc). Food was really good. Enjoyed this restaurant the most out of the other restaurants (especially those in the city center). Was recommended the potato zeppelin but I’ve already had that elsewhere (and I wanted to try other dishes) so I picked the potato pancakes. Kvass was delicious! Recommend.

Pretty average pub experience, portions are large but duck main was not great. Limited menu at lunch, full menu from 15.00. Apparently the restaurant is a locals' favourite (featured on the official city map my hotel provided) so perhaps it was an unfortunate occasion.

Very nice place for traditional Lithuanian food! Good prices and the fresh beer was very delicious as well 🤓 was gonna order the Zeppelins but sadly they where out! So will have to come again soon, but the other dishes was very nice as well!

Cozy traditional restaurant with unfussy cooking. What they mean by 'quite big' for cepelinai is "the size of a baby", one is plenty enough if you'll have a soup or starter before! Fair prices, service depends on if you sit within view of the bar where the staff hangs out.

We enjoyed our food a lot! The food was delicious, and the portions were really generous. The pork shank with cabbage and the duck with dumplings were a lot to our tastes. We felt as if we were eating meals made in our homes. Awesome 👌 Also very nice service 🙂

A nice restaurant with Lithuanian dishes. We had the potato Zeppelin stuffed with chicken and the pork shank dish, which came with a nice side of veggies. Yummy!

The portions here are huge, you don't need to order much. We were actually told to cut out at least one thing, we should have cut out two really as we were so full afterwards. The Zeppelin is 500g, the pork shank was enough for two people (the sour kraut was the best I've ever had) and the duck was good. We saw other people's orders and this really is a place to have sharing dishes. Very good beer too (had the dark lager). Edit: we went back a second night and had the black pudding starter and pork ribs main, which came together. This was a much better choice. The food was delicious and we left feeling full but not overly stuffed. €44 for four beers, starter, main and dessert, can't get better value than that.

This place was recommended to us by a local and it was a real gem. Lots of options on the menu, the Ribs were huge. Also tried the Kvass bread beer here. Lovely place, great service and very kind servers.

We had mushroom soups each and a huuuge sausage between two of us. The food was tasty. We couldn't finish it (the sausage is too big for two people especially after eating a filling soup) and the waiter offered to pack the rest for us to take home. The waiter speaks English and Russian and was very helpful and nice. I would definitely come back.

The best Lithuanian food, must-try! By far our favorite Lithuanian restaurant in the entire Vilnius, amazing flavors, big portions, good prices, cozy ambience.

Einfach nur super lecker. Wir mussten zu zwei 5 Minuten warten, aber auf einem Sonntag abend nicht ungewöhnlich. Das Essen ist mit sehr viel Hausmannskunst und Liebe hergestellt. Das Getränk Gira ist genial. Alles super lecker, auch der Nachtisch!

This place is great. Very traditional pub / restaurant. When we arrived, we were directed to the restaurant side and a very nice and efficient lady helped us in English to select the items on the menu. She was very patient and this was very much appreciated. The food was Lithuanian comfort food. It was delicious, from the sorrel soup to the meatballs and pork stew. Just fabulous.

Good stuff. One of the best places serving local food. Family restaurant vibes. Very reccomended to come on lunch time, quite busy but worth to wait. Newtown gem. Ofc try zemaiciai pancakes, massive and fullfiling. Not much to choose for vegetarians.

Cozy place. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Very delicious food. I recommend this good place for lovers of delicious food. You will spend good hours there with your friends.
