Beautiful place, easy to reach by car, not too high to climb. Small bench offers an opportunity to sit and enjoy gorgeous views for as long as you wish. Best to be enjoyed as part of your hike following the trail of Pūčkoriai.

A bit of nature still close to the city center. Not too much infrastructure around though. Mound and a forest all there is.

1984 Kęstutis Katalynas investigated a 1m² shafts on the northern edge of the site, found a 50 cm thick layer of culture with dashed and dipped ceramics, an iron cutter. The mound dates back to the 1st millennium BC. [1] At the foot of the southern and western footsteps, an area of 0.2 ha is the foot of a foothill, where rough and gilt ceramics, iron chippings are found. A millennium oak survives on the outskirts of the former village, but has been burned down. 750 m to the north-east is the Barrow of New Vilnia.
