What an experience! Me and my boyfriend have always wanted to go to the ballet and we grasped the chance to see Bolero in one of the most beautiful buildings I've been in the architecture is stunning and the balconies provided a great view of the stage. The performances were fantastic and the orchestra was superb. I can highly recommend going to see something here, or just to have a look inside!

This was such a unique and worth it experience. As someone who lives in London, Lithuanian opera tickets were affordable. I book a seat in a box (balcony) for only 29€. I was lucky enough to attend an event connected to the Vilnius Film Festival. They projected the original "Phantom of the Opera" (1925) with live music, DJs playing old vinyls. Super interesting and unique experience. The building is stunning. Only for the decor and architecture, plus people watching. This experience was a 10!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius with my wife and her family and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. We were treated to a performance of "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi and were completely blown away by the talent of the performers. The opera singers, tenors, and orchestra were all in sync and their tonality was simply amazing. The orchestral music, conducted by the Italian maestro was rich and truly added to the overall experience. The performance was truly breathtaking. During the interim breaks, we had the opportunity to book a table with drinks, which was a nice touch. The seats were very comfortable and allowed for an enjoyable experience throughout the performance. While the theatre itself could use a little upgrade, specifically the acoustics could be improved. The building is a historic one, with a lot of character especially the countless chandeliers hanging in the main hall. It would be great if the sound in the main theatre was a little modernised. But that being said, it did not take away from our overall experience. All in all, my experience at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre was wonderful. The performances were top-notch and the atmosphere was truly magical. I would highly recommend visiting this theater to anyone who loves opera and ballet. It's an experience you won't soon forget.

It's always nice to go see some opera or ballet there. The seats are too cramped in the partner though, and even in the balconies one of a shorter height needs to twist well to get a full view of the stage. And then there are those lines that seem endless when you need to go to the restroom during that single and oh so short break. But the artists working in the theatre are all wonderful and ever worth seeing and hearing.

Lithuanian National Opera And Ballet Theatre may not be the most beautiful building from the outside, but it more than makes it up on the inside. In other words, this book should not be judged by its cover. Stunning late soviet modern design is preserved: red carpets, gorgeous award winning lights, and of course high quality performances. If you're in Vilnius during the dark season (i.e. November-March), you should get yourself a ticket to a play and enjoy the night here! Also, when you go for a walk in the evening, come by as the building now is lit up for various occasions and during the warm part of the year, the water fountain is also being lit up.

It was pleasure to see Madam Butterfly in such a chic atmosphere. Hot Chololate is a must during a break. It’s worth to wait in a long queue.

Old but cool, historical cultural venue, almost a legend. Depends on a play, but worth visiting anyway. Get tickets in advance. Special treats during the brakes like hot chocolate, fruit and jelly desserts, etc. Great for kids too! Rent special seat pillows for them if you are lucky to get them.

Nice place for exploring culture in Vilnius. Though for children performances additional pillow to actually see the stage costs :(

Zefirelli's Rigolletto on the 20th of September 2022 was one of the best performance worldwide! Congratulations LNOBT!

The only one place in Vilnius to see opera/balet. Of course, it is not Milano opera. Some seats are terrible as you can not see 50% of a view because of in front people seats

The place for a clasic evening. A glass of shampagne or hot chocolate is a must. :o). Last time I visited while Boleto was performed. I didn't like the balley.

Seen triptych ballet/ modern dance. Great. But not for everyone. National Opera theatre is old Soviet times building / theatre( now sympathetically restored). Worth to see in itself. Very much worth a visit , especially due to great performance

Although looks rather brutalist on the outside. The soviet style interior is interesting. The queues for toilets and clothes were longer, than average, because of poor planning of house.

😐 It's very little of fresh air in the last top seat rows. Theater itself is quite cozy. Seats could be less noisy - old wood does it's own performance.

👍 Beautiful Teater with historical values. Amazing food, great music and nice and friendly staff. We had a fantastic event with 150+ and it was perfectly arranged. As entertainment it was Tango dance and great music band. The only minus was the toilets, they are not up to date but works fine: Det var...
