Entrance is directly in the church, after main door in the right side. You need 10-15 minutes but it's a cool experience, 3 Euro for adults, 1,50 for students

(Translated by Google) Short-lived entertainment, more for those who have a small phobia for dark and small spaces. By the way, a warmly communicating info worker (Original) Trumpai trunkanti pramoga, labiau skirta tiems kas turi nedidelę fobiją tamsai ir mažoms erdvėms.

This is an interactive “obstacle course” set in the pitch black crypt of an old church. You feel your way through the rooms, feeling different things and hearing different sounds. Although the experience is over in minutes, it’s a truly unique experience – and its cheap!

Traveled from Vilnius to visit and it was closed even though the hours said open. I tried calling and no one answered. Sad because I was really looking forward to this one.

Was supposed to be open but they closed early for lunch. Sign says closed from noon to 12:45 but they closed prior to noon.

It appears opening hours are incorrect and they now will open only by appointment (See picture). Upon our visit no-one answered at first at any of the posted phone numbers, but sent an SMS and got a nice reply some time later that someone would meet us to let us in. The experience itself was short (5-10min) but very cool. Glad we went as it is an unusual and fun experience.

Was kinda confused at first where is the entrance, there is not a lot of signs, but thanks to it I saw the church inside. The experience in the museum was great, although it is not really big, I really recommend it.

(Translated by Google) The idea of making a museum accessible to the blind has already been tried out experimentally in other places. The response was good, but I am not aware of any other permanent exhibition. The "Blinde Kuh" restaurant in Zurich, for example, shows that this also works on another level, as it is dark as in a cow stomach. So the food must be taken with a sensitive touch. Here in the museum, even if it is dark it is accessible to the sighted, the priority is to perceive with the other senses. The approximately one-hour walk is supported by audio, which then requires further tactile skills and a sense of smell. There is a lot to experience, such as objects hanging in the room, rubber bands awaken feelings, sounds animate the imagination, smells sniff the nose and finger spaces are an area to feel objects with the fingertips. Information and inscriptions are also conveyed in Braille and raised Latin script, in the latter the letters must be felt. A really exciting experience and a way to test your senses. Those who are not afraid of catacombs, do not worry it is not a ghost train and do not suffer from claustrophobia will rediscover themselves.

Went to visit it today but it seem like that part of the church where the museum entrance is at, is currently under renovation and it is not accessible currently

Didn't get to go Inside. Times displayed at the ticket booth and online are wrong. Said they were open when no one was there. Dissapointing as would have been good to go inside.

Obstacle course made in old catacombs under church. Course is made in total darkness so that people can experience how blind people feel surrounding world. We came there without reservation, called and in 10 minutes gentlemen came to let us in catacombs. Good and fun experience.

(Translated by Google) How can a museum work until 14:00? Lunch break from 12:00 to 12:45? We arrived at 13:35 and were told that we could not get there, because we had to register in the group in advance. Where is that written??? People, then you are asleep and there’s no need for people to fool their heads or work like a human! (Everything was still wet. It was rainy). Py.Sy .: the watchman has taken pity and, seeing our indignation, yet let us go. The entire inspection took exactly 15 minutes. Feelings curious. You feel blind, jostling in a crowd of people, someone’s palms hit you in the face and you wander through walls, fumbling with your hands in pitch darkness, following the rope that saves the day. Squeezing in the unknown, knowing that this is temporary - loss of vision. It was not terrible. It was interesting to taste the state of affairs at the emotional and tactile level. And the group never came ...
