It’s a beautiful castle but a disgusting memorial to human vanity and cruelty. There is nothing inside but countless exhibitions of killed animals. Creepy. Sad. Disappointing.

Nice castle with great views from its tower. Castle with several things to see both around the castle and the park adjacent and also inside. Outside, you have the park as mentioned that is kept in very good condition. Inside you have the main attraction with the tower and also some smaller exhibitions. The cost for entry is 1,5€ regular and 1€ discounted, that is very fair for what you get to experience. And you get great views from up top of the tower. A thing to note though is that if you're afraid of heights then the stairs leading up the tower might be a bit hard for you. Since the stairs are not exactly the safest and are quite narrow, especially if people are going up and down at the same time. Free parking is available right outside the castle, but you might need to park a bit questionable if there are many cars.

Very cool castle, you can go up to the tower! Minus 1 star due to lack of english explainations. There was some english, but not much. Now there is a exibit on german people that fled after the 2nd world war to Lituania and thats written in German(we are very glad we could read german). Its very well done and some heartbreaking stories with some that have a bit of a happy ending. Also there were explanations on the newly done archeological research(2021) only on Lithuanian, but there is a lot of things to watch. Also the history of the building is written(in english) and pictures of the owners can be found. Some souvenirs can be bought as well. Next to the building there is a café(unfortunately no english speaking). But if you go here it is worth a visit and worth this price! The view is very cool and there is a binoculars to watch from the tower. Costs: €1,50 for adults, €1,00 for students you get a cute ticket!

I was in love. It is beautiful, the place, the landscape. All the gardens are beautiful and clean, which speaks of the high level of education of the people who live near the place and the visitors they respect.

Nice red brick castle. We were during reconstruction, so half of the castle was closed.

Our family spends summer holidays at the Curonian spit and we always went the highway from Lithuanian capital Vilnius to harbor city Klaipeda. One year we decided to take another route along the Nemunas river on the Western part, to look at another side of our history. Remarkable journey along the Nemunas river from Kaunas, stopping at the Raudone castle, passing through the Lithuania Minor with settlements as Viesvile, Pagegiai, Silute and reaching Klaipeda.

Beautiful surroundings, park and the buiding externally. The inside of it is not that fascinating. There is a possibility to go up the tower and overlook the landscape from the top.

Just spent two weeks in Lithuania from USA. This was my second time visiting Lithuania . We have family in Kaunas We had a great time. We stopped here on the way to other areas and was amazed at the beautiful scenery . You can climb to the top for 1 euro. Its worth the climb. The views are great and theres a park nearby to walk with a huge chair , wwII statues and a pond in the shape of some mans face. Good times! Will be back soon!

Actually this is show-off how much animals hunters were able to kill. All the castle rooms full of trophies of dead animals. Fangs, antlers, skulls. Very unpleasant experience.
