Very interesting and must-visit place. It managed to maintain (or maybe recreated) unique and really authentic Post-Soviet Canteen style in every detail. Food is good, but really simple. Prices - the cheapest in town (€4 for the full lunch). Meals are huge! Service is faster than in MC fast food. And even staff is dressed and acts 100% authentic. It’s like to open a door to late 80’s or early 90’s. Really cheap experience with tasty and digestible food :) (P.S. these 3 photos is not mine, I took them from Cafeteria unofficial FB)

Food is great, like school times. Prices are even greater. Atmosphere is literally like school cafeteria. Food service is swift. Portions are generous. Ideal for a value lunch. Can pay by card.

Good prices, quick service and all the other classic canteen features. You could almost even get by without speaking Lithuanian. The soups were really good, however, the mains weren't the freshest and didn't live up to the hyped up expectations. Overall, it's your average canteen, maybe with slightly lower prices.

Simple. Tasty. Cheap. You can get an astonishing meal for under 3€ which will fill You up very well. The place is an old building, everything looks quite old-fashioned as well but that definitely doesn't mean that the meals gonna be bad.! You can choose from 20+ different meals during lunch hours. The portions are huge so be careful not to order too much. Definitely 5/5!

Soviet style Lithuanian canteen cooking grandma’s recipe and dishes! Not only food are super tasty , simple and healthy but also is an experience going back to history. 😊 An inside life view of working class Soviet Union . Yes the place is scruffy and not been renovated for decades but don’t fooled by this as it’s deliberately kept. The canteen is end of corridor ( almost dark and soviet block building) guiding you into this family run deliciously food canteen. Try it , it’s cheap and delicious.

Cheap tasty food, large portions, tons of vegetables. It often gets really crowded inside as the canteen feels like a basement with small rooms.
