Went again after 5 years, pleasantly surprised that it's still open. The service is friendly, food arrives fast. It's not the most tasty, but ok for the price. The puttanesca sauce had chorizo instead of sardines (but the menu makes you aware of it before ordering) and the pasta was a little overcooked which made it too soft and tasteless. The place is small, but has its charm.

I've gone to Viña several time over the past few years, and I must say this was one of the best meals (price, quantity, taste and experience) I've had in Viña. The restaurant is tiny (6-10 tables) so chances are you may have to wait for a seat. That would be the only "drawback". The rest was great. Old-school decor and ambiance, friendly waiting staff, simple yet tasty menu. All good things. The menu is mainly pastas, but they are good. Simple, straightforward, reminiscent of old school cooking. Nothing fancy, but it will fill you up. And considering the price, even if you're hungry after one dish, you could have another and barely come up to the prices in other places (looking at you Ruby Tuesday! [And don't even get me started on Cap Ducal!]). The desserts were great too. We had the tiramisu and "panqueques celestinos" (crepes filled with manjar/dulce de leche). Perfect to finish for someone with a sweet tooth. Definitely going back there next time we visit Viña.
