Not a good start. Arrived at 2.10 pm to be told that check-in was not until 3 and that because they were busy last night, no rooms were available, apparently The lady did not even check my name or what my Le Club Accor status might be, not interested. Now, it is 3.15 and I am sat waiting for the long check-in queue that formed before 3pm, to die down. Addendum: discovered that the Atton is just becoming a Pullman brand. Due to this my Accor reservation was not in the system. Requested, and was granted, a sea view which was a plus. Parking is easy if you are driving as the Atton had reserved spaces for guests. We arrived on a Sunday and the area was rammed but still managed to park. Vina del Mar is a really nice area and access to Valparaiso is straightforward. Breakfast imv is not to Pullman standards and I wish they would cook their scrambled eggs just a touch more - very runny. The second day I ordered poached eggs and got a ramekin with two broken eggs sat in a bath of water! The room is good, bed is good and there is a blackout blind that is electrically operated from the side of the bed. Now, the pool area. Nice, small pool and the pool area overlooks the beach. When I arrived there were no pool towels although a small pile was delivered shortly after. Tried to order a drink using the phone which connects to reception. Basically, there is a drinks menu and a food menu on the "bar". Behind the bar were piles of dirty dishes and glasses that hadn't been cleared. Struggled to get anywhere with reception when I used the phone, got transferred to the restaurant and no one answered. Back to reception who told me a waiter was on his way. Ten minutes later, no waiter appeared so back on to reception again. The lady took my order. Another ten minutes later two waiters appeared and tried to take an order from me but spoke no English at all. The whole episode was like something out of Fawlty Towers! Whilst the pool area was reasonably busy, the "bar" was not tended and wait staff were very thin on the ground. This all needs sorting and again, IMV, does not meet what I would expect of a Pullman-branded hotel. We check out tomorrow but I'll leave my review at this as it covers everything I want to report. Would like to give 2.5 stars and giving three, given that the property is supposed to now be a Pullman, is generous.

Service is poor. I had a room whit a always on noisy bathroom fan, which I complaint and the service desk said was normal. After 2 days, I checked by chance another room and I could prove that that my bathroom fan was not working properly. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi signal was poor.

Worse service! Service do not match the price. Booked in advanced but were’nt able to check in at the correct time due to “uncleaned room”. Waited for 30 mins to check in + 30 mins to get the room. Sorry but we did not paid $200+/ night to waste our day in the lobby. Didn’t even bother to notify us when the room was available, we had to question them ourselves. Ridiculous! 1 bottle of water for a 2 people room, no drinking glass or anything. Positive: The only nice thing is that it’s close to the beach and some restaurants. Negative update: Gave our room key to another person, and that person entered our room, luckily we were in the room. But what if we weren’t, our belongings could have been tampered with. Major privacy red flag. After that our keys got blocked and we could not use it to enter the room! All they could do was say sorry and nothing else. I would never return and would never recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is well located with beaches and restaurants nearby. rooms are nice. Parking can be tricky there. they have limited space around the hotel. We booked a king for 3 people and they told us they cant add a roll away bed to the 25 m2 room (claiming security issues or lack of space!). the front desk didnt seem very interested in helping us. finally the hotel manager moved us to a junior suite without view and charged us for that. customer is far from being king at accor hotels! I was explained i made a mistake by not renting two rooms. Only in Chile hotels expect you to sleep 3 people in a king bed! and blame you for not knowing.

Right on the water. Very modern. Great view. There was an issue with a broken shower. The hotel fixed it immediately. Also some very loud guests very late at night. The management left an apology note and a small gift in my room. What exceptional service

Fantastic! The bar at the rooftop is simply amazing. I got a single room and it was quite neat and modern style with the sea view at my window. I barely went out for meals, they offer a great deal and more than pleased with quality, presentation, diversity and taste. Either, business or vacation is a perfect spot, surroundings are enjoyable, the boardwalk at the beach, restaurants, street market, malls, etc. Congrats and thank you!

Cons: Front desk service was completely lacking. Check in was unfriendly. When we called the front desk from the room they were short with us and hung up before I could ask my second question. Check out was better but did not make up for the snobbishness we experienced other times. Amenities were lacking. I was surprised a 4star hotel didn’t offer beach towels or beach chairs for guests. Pros: right next to the beach. breakfast was tasty and wait staff were quick. The rooftop area was a good view I wouldn’t chose this hotel again

This hotel is the very definition of over priced mediocrity. The dingdong‘s at Pullman HQ feel that gray gray everything is the best color scheme imaginable. Zero colors. It’s a bit like over boiled meat here if I could use that metaphor. The breakfast is barely up to 2 star Holiday Inn level and always always always the same old cheap food. But on the other hand, I must be happy for some things: I did not get food poisoning The towels are quite Old and thread bare- in my house these would’ve been tossed out two or three years ago. The design in the showers are designed to leak water all over the floor as, again, the same person at HQ who thought that Omnipresent Gray is a fantastic color scheme leapt upon the ingenious idea of showers with no doors causing leaks all over the floor so one has to use them to mop up the flood with the same thread bare 2 towels given. Also to save money the hand towels are the same as the shower/floor towels so you’re putting your face on something where somebody’s feet was before. And if you wanted to wash your face well they’re too cheap to even have (small) face towels. And to top it off adding insult to injury they charge a lot of money for all the above in these rooms considering what (little) you get and where you are.. Also strict company policy (even if you’re staying here for many days) is to ration out only one freakin’ water bottle upon check in- After that you’re on your own buddy. It appears as though the only reason that they somehow scammed themselves into a four star rating was putting in a midget rooftop pool. WARNING: do not dare book a room on the city view/roadside because there’s so much street noise (and of course they felt they cannot spend on double paned windows just like the ancient towels and small water bottle per room for full stay). OK so instead of a roadside room, you book on the (QUIET) Ocean side then they GOUGE for a quiet room. Well it’s all my own fault - I should have booked an Airbnb and gone out for a decent breakfast elsewhere (which I did several times out of utter repugnance for Pullman's lackluster gray mediocre breakfasts…).

Amazing experience here at the Atton Hotel. Great service by everybody, the room was perfect in all aspects and the views from the top terrace was breathtaking. Would definitely recomend it 👌

Good modern hotel. Recently renovated, looking brand new. Right in front of the sea, close to the casino area. Rooms are good standard size, comfortable bed and bathroom, nicely decorated in modern style, and with side view on sea. The only difficulty I had was with the light switch next to the entrance also switching off the bed lights when wanting to switch off the entrance light. Alarm sounded in the reception area at 02:15 night, waking the whole hotel. When alarm also sounded in front of my door I rushed downstairs. False alarm. But hotel’s communication system was not used to inform guests of the same, creating lots of confusion with many people in their door opening not knowing what to make of the alarm. One block from the hotel I highly recommend Barrilito Beer Shop and the Sativo restaurant. If not being informed about their existence you probably would never consider them, because a bit off the main road.

Great centralise location in Vina Del Mar. Service was great. Breakfast buffet was average. Small pool on top floor with snacks only, no alcoholic drinks. We stayed at Room 630 with partial beach view. No shower door the floor can get pretty wet. Free water everyday. USB plug by bedside. Supermarket is 3 mins walk very convenient. Standard Pullman!

This hotel was amazingly located for someone like me who visited the area for the first time. The staff was very kind and the room itself was clean. Perhaps a little outdated but no complaints about the room itself. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of selection. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to run along the coast for exercise.

I’ve been to this hotel before, enjoying their awesome rooms with ocean views and a more than good breakfast buffet so it was a no brainer to pick it up again as my destination while in Viña del Mar. As I was checking in the guy from the lobby told me it was a bay view room and I told him that I paid extra for ocean view and he said it was the same. He was wrong. If you can see the attached picture, I’d say that’s city view. One guy that went to my room to try to fix the TV to use the built in chromecast had the audacity to tell me that if I stand from the other side of the room I could see the ocean, I didn’t say anything but I should have said THEN MOVE YOUR BLOODY BEDS TO THAT POSITION CAUSE I CAN’T SEE S- ANYTHING. Anyway, the chromecast never worked and the limited amount of channels was worthless. You might say “why would you wanna stay at your hotel watching the telly?” Well there’s a curfew, every bloody tv should be working. The hand basin was clogged, the bathroom seemed clean but the room’s floor was dirty. I spilled some water and tried to clean it with the bathroom mat and it ended up covered with dirt. I can understand that covid has made things difficult for some hotels but none of my problems were something you could say it’s because of covid, but the other way around; because of covid they should have cleaner rooms, with working hand basin and a fully functional telly. They were clearly understaffed. My aisle was full of food trays, and breakfast was a mess. They had limited options, and bacon, which I would have thought it was a breakfast staple for hotels, was nowhere to be found. Because of covid related rules imposed by the hotel you couldn’t stand to pick up your food, you had to wait for someone from their limited staff to do that for you and it was a horrible experience. Guest around me were so angry, some were even breaking the rules and picking up stuff by themselves. I checked their website and they’re fully booked for several weeks, they should hire more stuff and stop being so cheap. They offered me a minuscule refund but I haven’t seen it reflected on my account yet and I highly doubt I will. I guess it’s time to say good bye to Pullman if they continue being understaffed.

I stayed at the Pullman San Martin for three nights in early February and chose the hotel due to the location, sea views, facilities and the Accor brand. The location is ideal - nestled on Avenida San Martin with easy access to Playa Acapulco and the center of Vina del Mar. The area is littered with restaurants and cafes with the casino close by. The view from sea view rooms is half parking lot half sea. The question is really about how high you go - first to seventh floor given the eighth floor is a rooftop terrace and small swimming pool. While the Accor website shows an undisturbed view for sea view rooms, it is not. The hotel is built in an L shape, meaning it is in the direct eye line of the parking lot and the Tierra del Fuego large glass building. Unfortunately the outside window to our room was covered in bird droppings which could be avoided if the hotel regularly cleaned the external windows. The highlight of the facilities is the rooftop terrace accomodating 30 people. The swimming pool is a great addition yet it is narrow. The strict COVID restrictions limited the full enjoyment of it, having to book a thirty minute slot to use the swimming pool. The worst feature of the hotel is the chaotic street parking. It is unfortunately a trade-off to the hotels' central location. My advice is to avoid driving to the hotel during peak season if possible. This point brings me on the best feature of the Pullman San Martin, the staff. The front of house and restaurant staff where efficient, friendly and are by the far the biggest asset of the hotel. Enforcing the countries strict COVID restrictions while catering to guests needs is not easy but the crew at Pullman San Martin do it in style.
