Food has gone down in quality big time since last visit 2 years ago. Service used to be friendlier as well. Good location.

We were there for dinner because the place was recommended by friends and by a doctor's receptionist. The pastries are great. We had the Anayak sandwich and it was very good. It fed both of us. It was 8700 pesos or about $12 USD. The place is vintage 50s. The service was good.

Great place to come and have typical Chilean food and great sweets

This cafe is much more than just a cafe; it's a full restaurant and bar as well. The place is clearly an institution in the city and has a significant base of regulars. The place is very busy and large. The missing star is really just a reflection of my personal preference for smaller, less chaotic, and more personal cafes.

great food, i would say the best of the area, but you need to rise your hand if you want service, the place is busy all the time. try sweet food with dulce de leche (manjar en Chile)

Excellent place to have tea or sweeties

Had the worst cappuccino of my life here. They have professional barista machines so I assumed I would get a decent cappuccino but I was wrong. The coffee did not taste good and instead of milk foam it had an extremely sweet and cold cream on top. Awful. The server was an older, very nice gentleman, I felt bad about saying anything. We also had a "natural" juice that was 99% water with a tiny bit of flavor and a slice of mil hojas cake. The layer was OK. We aware that they have a system to scare the pigeons that has a very high pitch noise that goes on every few minutes. It totally hurt my ears and even teeth.
