We have travelled the world and very rarely are we lucky enough to stumble on a restaraunt like La Concepción at 5 stars. With this in mind, Michelin Needs to take a peak at this amazing restaurant!! The staff are incredible, service is fabulous and attentive to our very need. They offered us blanket if we were cold. The restaurant has a fabulous patio with a spectacular view. Perfect attention to the details in the plates and desserts makes us recommend this place as 5 star for your dinner or lunch. Can’t miss!!!

Awesome place for lunch or dinner! Not only is the town very pretty but this restaurant is charming with good food and views. This place fills up quickly but I think they take reservations. I got lucky when I just squeezed in after walking around the town. I got crab pasta with a good pisco sour. Staff was friendly as well. Didn't know this place was such a popular place until I stumbled upon it. Highly recommend!

A lovely restaurant with excellent service. Classic Chilean dishes so great to try everything! Sadly my salmon was undercooked but they quickly took it back and came back perfectly cooked. Wonderful outdoor terrace too!

Because of my arrival time my hotel recommended this was a good place to get an evening meal at 4pm. So many places in Valparaiso have split shifts and odd opening hours. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. I did not enjoy the view. The restaurant's own terrace garden is much more attractive than looking over a working port, derelict buildings and on my visit there was a battleship! Graffiti is not a work of art. I had the scallops. I could not tell if they were fresh or not because they were so heavily baked in a cheese sauce. If you have an abundance of fresh seafood right next to you why would you ignore it?

Really nice restaurant with both enclosed and open terraces overlooking the city and sea. Very good food at, for a European, very good prices. Particularly excellent seafood. Friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Since my last visit things have really taken a turn for the better. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. Will definitely go back.

The view and the seafood takes all the stars for me. Pisco Sour Rústico is a great cocktail if you looking for a nice buzz.

Everybody seems to love this place so we may have just ordered the wrong things. For starters, we ordered the seafood soup which was very watery and had no depths. They put boiled potatoes with the skin on, carrots and peppers in it, which brings nothing to it and frankly doesn't quite belong in a fish soup. The veggies also accounted for over half of the volume of the soup. Half of the mussels had sand in it and I found quite a big piece of shell on one of them, though this can happen, it was overall very disappointing. I ordered the crab cake for main and got some sort of crab bake with cheese on top. It tasted good, however I found so many pieces of shell that I was put off eating it and left over half on it. The waiters are fine, they make dramatic 'cloche reveals' of the food which seems a bit over the top since quality doesn't follow (in our case anyway). Also they could see quite obviously that I didn't finish either my starter and main but none of them asked if everything was ok with the food, which is a good strategy when you don't want to risk having to give a discount and when the customer would rather not make a fuss about it. On the bright side, the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Would not recommend to pay over 76000CP for it though.

What a great place- came here on recommendation which lived up To it and much more Warm welcome, we were shown around for a table- choose one - Amazing view Had the margarita- Quick and Tasted good. Food- the complimentary bread basket was nice . The starters on scallops was excellent. Had The Hake and the prawn in curry sauce- both excellent. Deliver is very nice with the plate domes Service was good. Did open slightly later than it says on Google for Lunch-was open at 1245 rather than 1230. The place was empty when we arrived except some table have been reserved but soon filler up after 1pm.

One of the best meals we had in South America after 22 days of travelling. Everything was Amazing. The service was very quick and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the tuna and the crab pasta. So so good. This along with the view made the lunch amazing -even if it was a cloudy day

This is an amazing place to enjoy the best cuisine of Valparaíso seaport. The terrace is a unique place to enjoy either a lunch or dinner, the service is magnificent and the food is a masterpiece. If you're going to stay at least one night in Valparaíso I recommend to book a table in this phenomenal restaurant. You won't regret of this.

SO GOOD. If you don't have reservations show up about 5/10 min before opening to get a table since they fill up quick! Also highly recommend the Chardonnay sour

Good food. Friendly, polite staff. We got the terrace view and it was perfect. The bookings on phone wasnt possible, they had first come first serve. The neighbourbood is pleasant. There is no wheelchair accessibility. Get a parking spot around this neighbourhood is tricky.

Loved it. Great view. But the food was FANTASTIC. We two had the salmon with risotto and the costillar, pavlova dessert, bottled waters, and the mango dessert. All fantastic. The cost with tip was 38,900 pesos.

Our experience was to eat proper seafood was good, we recommend the Duo Ceviche or the local clams to start, then the crab raviolis are a sure bet, the salmon over risotto was very tasty. The kids had a the chicken finger.

Excellent location, service and food. Totally recommended. To start the restaurant have an amazing view of Valparaiso, in one of its most iconic areas, and well maintained cerro Concepcion. Service is great, waiters with complete knowledge of menu, wine pairing options and suggestions. The classic aperitif Pisco sour, was great for chilean taste, but as always a bit strong and sweet for international costumers, but of course always the first choice. We have two pasta dishes, one filled out with king crab and a vegetarian one, both amazing, with excellent wine-pairing selection. The desserts need its own paragraph. They are absolutely amazing, great design, presentation and taste. We tried 3 of them, and all were outstanding. Excellent work.
