This is the oldest Ascensor. Built in 1883. It's also the shortest and the priciest ($300). Recommend either get up from Ascensor Reina Victoria & down from this one.

Valparaiso, built on the mountain overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean, is famous for its Bohemian culture, colorful houses and magnificent and changeable coastal scenery. It's like a gypsy girl who looks still attractive. Thousands of colorful graffiti can be seen, when walking in the area circled on the map.

This was one of the shortest rides. Nice addition to the trip around Valpariso looking at the graffiti. I would not make a trip out just for this.

It has just been restored, extraordinary view of the port of Valparaiso.

Historic, cheap, fun, incredible views and unique culture ane arquitecture. A must see if in valpo for a bit.

The signage around this is incorrect, finally I find it and it is only a closed gate. What a waste of time and walking
