Donated to the town by the British in 1910 to mark the centenary of Chile's independence. The Arc was covered in marble from Italy, guarded by a British Victorian Lion and four Britons who participated in the Chilean Independence War. Visited by QE2 and Prince Charles. Now sit on Av.Brasil. All fenced and planted with roses.

Triumphal arch -- not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it

This is a lovely arch, but it’s not very well kept, which is a shame, as its one of the few places built by the English. If they removed the graffiti it would be really nice. The park itself is lovely. Its worth a visit if you are in Valparaiso.
