The building itself is worth seeing, let alone all the artwork inside.

Probably the best museum in Chile! Shame no gift shop.

Another place to visit when in Valparaiso. It's amongst the numerous architectural marvels of the area. Once you disembark from the metro, it's only minutes away on foot. The sites that one encounters along the route makes the walk seem like effortless. Eye candy for everyone to see and take in. Not a palace as I envisioned, however, the same and the history tied to the name make it worth a look

One of my favorites places in Valparaíso. The best spot ever! I'm a fan of the museum 😁🎨

Great small museum in two beautiful buildings- palaces. There are tons of paintings by Valparaíso artists and Chilean ones. Camilo Mori' s paintings are featured. There was a Japanese exhibit of prints from their collection when we were there (May 2019). Entrance was about one dollar. I have one recommendation: very little is said about the rooms of the building. Is the mantle marble, from where...

Well... my expectations were low, yes extra low and there I was surprised! Nicely done, perfectly achieved to transfer you to the past in this perfectly conserved 20th century little palace. Inside you will find amazing collections of european artists as well as locals. On the way to this museum, you will have the opportunity to enjoy street art on the walls of houses on the hills stairs and yeah, you can do your daily steps without even notice 😎

Beautiful old mansion overlooking the city that has been turned into a fine art museum. The art is has works from local and European artists, mostly French. Its quite a nice collection and is worth a visit. There are also two temporary exhibits free of charge that you can take a look. When I was there, the exhibits were photos of Chile and of tattoos.

Very beautiful art gallery, prices are fair. I think it's a about 4000 Pesos for foreigners and less than 1000 for locals. The oil paintings where astonishing and varied in size. I marveled for over one hour in incredulity. There's also many explanations in Spanish. The gallery features some European artists as well as many Chilean ones. The bathroom could be cleaner and the locks on the doors repaired. I had to hold the door shut while doing my business. Also the tours with a large group of people were a little annoying as you could sometimes not enter a room because it was thus crowded. I therefore suggest minimizing the size of the group. However, definitely worth a visit if you're in Valparaíso.

This old mansion belonged to Pascual Baburizza a philanthropist who donated the mansion and his art collection to the city. Now it works as an Art museum, you'll get amazed not only by the pieces of art but also by the building itself as it combines different types of architecture. The price of the tickets is affordable and it has some special offers for the elderly, students and children. I museum is a must, don't miss the opportunity to visit it.

Was delighted at being able to get into this gallery and nearly had the place to myself. Very happy in seeing some Thomas Summer scales paintings as they are very bright and complement those in Chile's national gallery.. Nice cafe as well and the view over the harbour is lovely.

Nice place and an interesting art collection. The inside is mostly an art gallery with not much going on architecturally compared to the exterior. For 4000 Pesos I would have had a lot more fun buying a bottle of wine... 2000 pesos seems to be the appropriate price to me, which is the price if you are Chilean. Otherwise cough up double that. Audioguide in English put me to sleep, none in Spanish available.

Lovely and interesting artworks and interior but terrible customer service. It’s the second Sunday of the month but we were not permitted free entry. We decided to pay (tourists pay double) but then not given an audio guide, when asked for one mine had a low battery. Lady at ticket office could not care less and didn’t try to help. I complained I’d paid double for ticket entrance and audio guide should be included. She just put my dead audio player back in the box rather than on charge. So next visitors will not have an audio player available.

The setting of this Museum is beautiful. The art is amazing and there is so much of it. It's much bigger than it looks. Give yourself a good hour or two to take it all in.
