When the artisanal market "Victoria Porteña" is there you can see some of the best local products made by porteños themselves such as fine stone jewellery, silk-screen printing, wooden puzzles, knitted clothing among others. You can also get great food in the local restaurants around the plaza and visit Muelle Prat for a boat ride

Valporaso is a city of former glory but sadly many buildings are falling into ruin with no prospect of restoration. The graffiti artists have taken over.

BUSTLING CITY CENTER, the plaza features dozens of vendors selling crafts, secondhand books, antiques and jewelry like their ancestors over the centuries. Great street vibe!

Open plaza in the center of the city. It has the impressive naval building at the one end, the port on the other, and a beautiful war memorial in the center.

Great place to start a walk around Valparaiso. Great buildings, markets (antique markets in the square on the weekend. Cross the main road to wall along the waterfront or jump onto a tourist boat around the harbour for $4000. Parking in the underground cark.

Beautiful monument, but currently can't be accessed. The fences are closed and there are military persons watching.

Learn a little bit about Valparaiso. Parking was easy and a few steps from the port. The locals there offered boat ride around the port.

A working port town in a hard working country. A town with out a center. Left the exploring up to the tour we were on.
