We were regulars at this hotel for years. We loved especially the location. You feel you're on a ship at sea. The hotel was always rather old and traditional, slightly funky, but I liked that. The restaurant was excellent, the staff nice, and the breakfast spectacular: a huge buffet with eggs made to order, various cheeses, breads, fruits, juices, avocado, cold cuts, cereals. And delicious coffee, cappuccinos, etc. Now, as with other hotels after the pandemic, the hotel charges much more for the same room. I think there is a new owner. Most disappointing was the breakfast: sliced bread from the supermarket, a couple of slices of ham and cheese. And only instant Nescafe. The second day they brought eggs after we asked for them. The service isn't what it used to be either. Sad.

Excellent and beautiful view from this traditional Viña del Mar restaurant, just reopened after pandemia, we had a tasty lunch of few seafood appetizers, pisco sours and dessert. Friendly service and affordable prices, will come back.

Superb location and great food here. We walked in looking for dinner close to our hotel and were happy we did choose this place. The staff was still setting up so we had some piso sours and the server brought us some cheese snacks to hold us over until we were seated for dinner, which didn’t take long. The menu is quite extensive so it was nice that the waiter offered us an English menu as well to be able to choose. The food came quickly and was really good. We did have deserts as well and they were great too. What’s the best about this restaurant is the location and views. It looks like a ship and you feel like you’re at sea inside. Highly recommend it.

People really knows how to attend. Food not really at the same level.

On no account when in Vina Del Mar should you miss the opportunity to dine at this wonderful restaurant. Here you can eat the same recipes that Pablo Neruda, (Chilean poet, diplomat, and politician who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971), enjoyed and its wonderful taste food served by professional staff in this enchanting building. Gorgeous views and lovely sunset across the bay. Prices reasonable for both food and wine. Not to be missed.

One of the best meals I have had in years mainly because of the experience. You can eat while hearing the sea and watching the animals. In our case we even saw a seal!

The food and the view are really nice, you totally feel like you're eating on a boat on the sea. Not giving 5 stars because the places is way too expensive

From outside looks weird, but the food is amazing. Try the local fish! Plus great service and view!

Loved Cap Ducal....the sound of the ocean... lovely timber panelling and beaut wrought iron staircase...great food in the restaurant and the staff are just so friendly....have stayed twice.
