Sadly, it burned almost completely in the wildfires of February 3-4, 2024. Four lives were lost there. Over 1.300 different plant species, lost, including toromiros, a rare species original from Easter Island, where it is extinct. There's no word about when it could reopen, if ever. It took a century to plant and build. Edit. In an interview, the director said it will take from 6 months to two years to clean and maybe reopen. The centenary trees burned; reforestation is possible, but it will take a long time for the Garden to be like it was. The Garden also performs scientific research; they hope to restart that as soon as possible.

A very interesting and scenic place to visit at excellent value. Highly recommended to any nature or plant enthusiasts. Entrance for only 2000 CLP The collection is wide and varied sprawling across what amounts to a very large park. I highly recommend the Valdivian Rainforest. There are informational panels available for each zone. The access within the site is by car, bike, foot. It is very impressive the amount of watering they have done to keep rainforest specimens growing in the desert. There is a small café at the back end by the lake. Recommended 2+ hours for a visit.

I had never been there until I went to Wanderlust Festival and was blown away at how absolutely beautiful this place is. We went on a 5k run around the park (I never run) and I almost forgot I was running. The lagoon 😍 a must see in Viña!

This is an unmissable part of a visit to Viña in my opinion. It's a huge natural area with flowers, trees, a lagoon and more. It's cheap to get in and if you have the energy, you can walk for hours inside!

Quite a nice park to take a walk, have a picnic, & kick a football around. It's a good break from the hectic-ness of Valparaíso & Viña. It cost us 2,000 pesos each for adults to enter. There are a number of large, grassy fields. Because all the fields are broken up, they make the park feel much smaller than it really is. There are some cool sights, such as the lakes and the cactus garden. I recomm nd this park if you would like to have a nice, peaceful afternoon.

Quiet and well kept place in the middle of the city. It is nice for a quick walk. It is worth paying for the ticket to visit it.

We went both on a Friday and then back on Saturday. Beautiful park. The canopies for the children. Beautiful walk around the lagoon and feeding the ducks and geese. On Saturday was a feria set up with various selections. Always an amazing place too visit.

A very good place to visit with the family 👪 there are many activities you can do inside. Like Canopy, ride a bicycle, trekking among others, I love all the nature you can find and how can you disconnect yourself from the noise of the city and reconnect with nature

We visited during winter so not many flowers, but it was nice. Watch out for mud and water in the pathways.

Nice park with nice (short) walks. No camping allowed, dogs on leash. Tables for lunch, bit no open fire permitted.

Beautiful property, nice place to spend a day. Nice cactus garden and greenhouse. Information was very very limited, though, and I would have liked a lot more informational signs and things to describe different plants and trees there.

👍👍 A wonderful place MURDERED AND BURNED TO DEATH. MANY INVERTEBRATES, BIRDS, PLANTS, TREES, FLOWERS. ALL DEAD. SOME CENTENARY PALMS TOO. WE ONLY HAVE TO WAIT that they are still alive and that with the rains of the next few years life can emerge again. But never like it was until before December 22, 2...
