Fantastic find. After the miserable Casa Mexicana experience the day before, this was an amazing breath of fresh air. Staff are very friendly, and prompt. My wife and I split the street nachos and blackened sea bass. The nachos were great, but the sea bass was outstanding. This is a must if you are in the area and up for a Mexican seafood fusion place. Excellent all the way around. Also, great ventilation throughout the restaurant. Loved it.

Amazing experience! Coconit mojito is awesome. Had Ceviche for appetizer, the flavor was great. Husband had the lobster taco - thats a definite try!!! Cannot explain how good it was! I had the swordfish - it was cooked perfect! And even though we were full we ordered th flan and left feeling more than full! Waitress was attentive and pleasant. Definitely recommend and will go back!!

Wonderful red snapper tacos and homemade flan. My husband's seafood nachos outstanding as well. We spend 6 months a year on Gulf coast so hesitate to order seafood up north, but it was perfectly prepared and delicious. In addition, the restaurant was very cute in a vintage building and service was great. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Max’s! The best restaurant in the whole of Chippewa Falls, WI. I absolutely loved the buzo fajitas. Great service too!

Stopped in on way to the zoo. Food was abundant and great. Daughter had Red snapper burrito, then the Max burrito of hubby and I had crab enchiladas. Price was $53.00 Considering it is real fish and seafood, we thought it was worth it.

Food was very good. I was a little disappointed at the lack of accommodations to gluten allergies. Though the gluten free menu is nice, no one with a gluten allergy will ever be able to experience any of your sauces, which really are the backbone of so many of your menu offerings. Tapioca starch, corn starch, gluten free soy sauce: it’s not that difficult to accommodate, and to make no effort at all to accommodate to gluten allergies in any of your sauces is pretty disappointing.

They really abbreviated their menu. No more shrimp tacos!! Not quite as appealing as what we are used to there. Server was excellent, food was ok.. Loud (festive)music playing in the background kinda messed up the mood.

We stopped in for lunch on a whim and were pleasantly surprised! The crab cake appetizer was delicious. We sat in the front window which was nice on a cool fall day. Will definitely be going back.
