Pleasant experience! This begins my birthday week, and what a great start. Tasty meals, great customer service. My experience in this restaurant was like I was eating from my mother's kitchen, and that made it all the more special. In the words of my little nugget, I will give it infinity 🌟

At first, I was hesitant on going to this restaurant because of the mixed reviews. But after experiencing it first hand I honestly can say it's a top-notice restaurant that represented Puerto Rican dishes beautifully. With a friendly staff and a family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend checking them out. The best time to come is early because the food sells out fast. Also, we didn't have any food poisoning or anything of that nature. Even had coffee and it was a strong overall experience was extraordinary 👍

I’ll start with the staff. You get such a warm greeting. You feel at home there. The place is a small open floor plan with about 20 tables located on the floor. Decent selection of dishes. I ordered the pernil with rice and pigeon peas as well as fried plantains. Wow, the flavors were so good. I only ate half of my dish so that I could eat it again the next day! Bought an extra one to take to my brother. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and wonderful service!

The food is amazing. They welcome you with such warming greeting, that you just can’t walk away. Sally is an amazing waitress. She was knowledgeable and really pleasant and sweet. Every bite in every food we ordered had amazing taste. We taste everything that was inside the food. I recommend it and ask for sally she’s awesome. Also hats off to the chef/cook. I’m a picky eater but by far everything was amazing.

I really wanted authentic Puerto Rican food, and this place had 4.7 rating, so I figured let's give a try. It looked good on the menu, I got take out, ones I got home and eat it I was so disappointed. The yuca was sooooo salty. I think my blood pressure went up to 200. The rice was not all the way cooked, the steak was average. I mean, I'm Puertorican, so I know authentic Puertorican food. I grew up eating it, that was disappointing. I'm sorry!! I even took a menu to give to my friends, but no way.

I've never had a bad experience while eating here. The servers are always very polite and my food always comes out great. I always get the fried chicken breast, so I can't speak too much on other dishes - but my mom has tried a few things and has never been disappointed. You get a good amount of home-cooked food for a pretty decent price. I'd recommend trying here at least once.

On our road trip thru the east coast we ended up at The Orocoveña. The place was almost empty at 1:30pm on a Thursday. Service was quick and cordial. It helps when you also speak the language, and know exactly what you are ordering. We ordered the tri-fongo with octopus salad, and a ham and cheese sandwich on plantain. Flavor was great, portions were adequate and price is reasonable.
