High
quality
sports
bar
in
South
Philly
near
the
sports
complex.
We
went
on
the
afternoon
before
a
Friday
night
Phillies
game,
and
it
was
not
too
crowded
at
that
time.
So
kind
of
hard
to
assess
how
great
of
an
atmosphere
it
could
have,
but
it
was
very
comfortable
and
appealing
inside.
They
do
a
local
sports
talk
radio
show
that
is
broadcast
from
inside
the
bar
which
was
kind
of
cool.
We
had
the
famous
crabfries
which
is
basically
crinkle
cut
fries
with
old
bay
seasoning
and
cheese
dipping
sauce,
which
frankly
is
very,
very
good.
Bar
staff
was
friendly
and
helpful
and
it
was
a
nice
place
to
hang
out
for
a
little
bit.
I
do
think
the
TV
set
up
could
be
improved,
but
they
have
a
distinctive
look
behind
the
main
bar
with
wooden
shelves
that
hold
liquor
bottles
so
that
seem
to
be
an
important
part
of
their
decor,
as
opposed
to
having
as
many
screens
as
possible.
Not
sure
if
it’s
the
number
one
sports
bar
in
America
but
to
be
fair
we
weren’t
in
there
with
the
big,
raucous
crowd.
It
is
a
20+
minute
walk
from
the
bar
down
to
the
sports
complex
which
is
a
little
bit
farther
than
you
really
want
to
walk
on
a
hot
day,
although
it
is
doable.
To
get
there,
we
rode
a
subway
from
city
center
to
the
Oregon
Street
stop.
And
walked
from
there
to
the
bar
which
was
about
15
minutes.
Again,
not
a
bad
walk,
but
didn’t
feel
entirely
comfortable
doing
that
either,
although
we
had
no
problems.
You
probably
want
to
check
out
Chickies
and
Petes
if
you’re
a
sports
fan
and
you
want
to
get
the
local
flavor.
