Second time here and it was just as amazing as the first. The service was great and food was also. The chicken and waffles are in a class of its own. DELICIOUS. I don't know who seasons the chicken but they need a raise ASAP! Tender and juicy to say the least! On a Sunday morning for a party of four the wait wasn't too bad. I loved it.

I would keep this place a secret for a multitude of reasons. This restaurant is definitely ON POINT! I have nothing bad to say. The food is OUTSTANDING. The chicken and waffles were cooked to perfection. The burger was juicy in an awesome way. The restaurant is staffed very well, which contributes very much to the excellent service! Bottom line: My favorite diner. 🎤

First time here from out of town. The whole family loved it. Great service. I had the waffle and grits. Tasty!!!! Grits were seasoned good. Shrimp and grits were good. Cheese steak was wonderful.

I got the fish fry Friday Special. The Food was really good, and even came out fast (less than 10 min). The customer service was perfect, Elizabeth checked up on the table and brought refills before the drink was gone. Couldn't have had a better experience.

Staff has excellent customer service. Food hot and delicious another must stop in and visit location. I had to update my review to Mr. Dan I stand and applaud you sir!!!! You are the trusted example of exemplary customer service. I had an issue with the delivery service that delivered for your location and you made it right. First time at Metro Diner! With my man Daniel the Owner. Stop by the table with Great Humor. He worked the tables and had the time for conversation. The food was great and Jillian the server was on point. The food came to table do quick and hot 🔥! Me and my son was surprised because normally we have to wait 30 minutes when we eat outside but not with Metro Diner. I mean they were slammed and the still the food can quickly and hot. You got to try Metro Diner in Harbour View. The food was so much I had to quit eating. I ordered alot thinking the portions was small. Come and support Mr. Daniel st Metro Diner.

There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, but I ended up going with the bacon avocado scrambler bowl. It was quite good and the perfect serving size. My food arrived quickly, and I was able to get in and out of there within half an hour.

Fantastic food and no concept of portion control. Seriously, I don’t know anyone that would eat a normal order. No skimping on quality either. Shrimp grits are unique and very good.

Was told there was a 25 minute wait when i entered but I actually only ended up waiting a couple minutes which was impressive. Our waitress was great. Ordered chicken & waffles. The waffles was decent but the chicken had absolutely no seasoning and/or flavor at all. The presentation had my mouth watering however, I was sadly disappointed.

I wanna give a thank you too, corinne. It's definitely a good atmosphere and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had chicken and waffles, and they made it better than the other places I have tried. And I love how they support the military.

Went here for the first time this morning and I was very pleased. Wish I could have had a bigger stomach I would have ordered more dishes lol. I can see why this place was packed on Mother's Day. I got sausage gravy and biscuits and an omelet with hash browns. The food came out quickly although my food was kind of cold. My husband got french toast and shared some with me because the pieces were so large and it was yummy. Very good and will come back again if I'm in the area.

Absolutely one of the best fried chickens I’ve ever had. I got the chicken and waffles and they did not disappoint. The home fries are great as well! A++!! Betty was fantastic!

Breakfast was good. Portions are extensive—many options. Service could have been better. They were busy. The coffee ran dry and was never refilled. I tried the Blood Mary for $3.39; it was good. The two-egg breakfast was huge. Two eggs look like four. I had the Benedict with avocado. One of the eggs was poached perfect; the other was overcooked. The single biscuit and gravy needed just a bit of salt. Overall it was great.

Visiting from Florida. Didn't know there was another Metro Diner. 😳 I liked. Christie, our waitperson, was friendly and accommodating. I had the chicken salad sandwich-delicious. My friend had the classic burger with bacon. She ate it all. It looked fantastic. The French fries were plentiful and flavorful. I love the atmosphere.

We love it here! We have never had to wait very long to be seated and our food comes out pretty quick. Excellent service and delicious food.

Good food, friendly servers, and wasn't overly crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The chicken and waffles was pretty good, no complaints!
