From the reception, to the hygienist, to the dentist, it was comfortable the entire way through. Morrison Dental Group has been easily THE best experience I've ever had involving my dental health. They were just as pleasurable an experience in Norfolk as they are in Portsmouth. They checked what was covered to make sure I got the most out of my visits. They were willing to answer any questions I've asked, which gave me extreme peace of mind. My hygienist, Cameroon was A-1. I cannot recommend enough for folks who may be a little skittish about their oral health. They don't give you a sense of shame with your solution.

Dr brutten was absolutely amazing. She was so steady and even headed, especially with my screaming 6 year old. I appreciate the staff, especially Chris who made us feel comfortable and welcome despite the difficulty.

I have been going to Morrison Dental for a while and the service is always great. All of the staff is phenomenal! Today, Chris and Jay took care of me during my appointment, and they both did a spectacular job. Chris explained the Invisalign process in detail, which was very helpful. I felt comfortable from the time that I arrived until I left. I would definitely recommend Morrison Dental. Great job!

I had a couple of fillings done with Dr. Brutten and Shay and it was a wonderful experience! It was my first filling and Shay took the time to walk me through everything and made me feel really comfortable. Dr. Brutten is so competent and strives for the absolute best result possible. I came in for a cleaning & exam. The cleaning went great until someone by the name of Chris came in the room like a bat out of hell & proceeded to talk about how I clearly have a problem while pointing at my xray & that I need to take accountability for my teeth after I told him how it got the way it did. I wasn’t placing all the blame on the childhood neglect. I mean I’m there for a reason, obviously I’m taking accountability but I didn’t even get a chance to explain that I also have bad dental anxiety because he proceeds to cut me off by saying “I’m not gonna sugar coat anything, I’m like a sour patch kid. I’m mean then nice.” The whole incident was very unprofessional in my opinion. It’s like he was having some sort of manic episode or something. The last thing I want to feel is shame, when they really don’t know the effort it took for me to even go to the dentist due to my anxiety in the first place. I’m just in complete shock tbh. I think Chris needs training on how to act in a professional setting regardless of personal feelings. I mean that’s the basics… I don’t know where all the good reviews came from but I’ll definitely be going elsewhere.

Dr. Brutten is an amazing dentist that has made my family and I feel so comfortable. My son had an abscessed tooth and has been followed very closely by Dr. Brutten. She cares deeply about her patients and has continued to follow up to check on my son through this scary time. The staff has been amazing and knowledgeable. I couldn’t be any happier with Dr. Brutten as our dentist and her staff. My family looks forward to every visit.

Morrison dental group is an amazing group of people. They are nice and understanding with your needs and wants. Chris was very helpful and talked to me the whole time to keep me calm. I have really bad anxiety and having him talk to me help my mind from not wonder into unwanted thoughts. So thankful to this group of people.
