Easily
one
of
the
worst
hotel
experiences
I've
ever
had.
You
pay
for
convenient
accessibility
to
the
beach
and,
for
extra,
a
view
of
the
ocean.
Except,
if
you're
on
the
first
floor,
it's
more
of
a
view
of
passerbyers
on
the
street,
and,
surprise!
They
get
a
view
of
you,
too.
The
windows
were
not
tinted;
it
took
a
lot
of
courage
to
have
them
open
just
to
look
outside
while
knowing
everyone
could
see
me
too.
The
customer
service
wasn't
too
bad.
We
checked
in
after
midnight
and
the
woman
at
the
desk
sat
until
we
noticed
her
there;
we
didn't
see
her
initially.
I
think
good
customer
service
would
mean
being
greeted?
Not
to
mention
we
were
audibly
confused
about
the
lack
of
personnel,
which
makes
me
think
she
should
have
made
herself
known.
Understandably,
it
*was*
after
midnight.
The
hallways
were
dim
and
run
down,
not
an
ounce
of
welcoming
atmosphere
anywhere.
While
I
did
not
visit
the
pool,
it
seemed
acceptable
and
well
maintained.
The
walls
were
very
thin
and
multiple
times
throughout
the
night,
loud
guests
would
pass
by
and
wake
me
up.
It's
not
that
I
wasn't
expecting
that,
being
in
a
beachfront
hotel
on
a
busy
block
and
all,
but
thicker
walls
may
have
helped
the
problem?
The
parking
situation
was,
as
I
have
read
in
other
reviews,
indeed,
a
nightmare.
Not
only
did
we
misinterpret
the
parking
space
for
the
Dolphin
hotel
as
the
Super
8
one,
once
we
knew
where
to
park,
we
circled
around
for
thirty
minutes
and
ended
up
having
to
*move
a
broken
yellow
barrier
so
we
could
pull
in
from
the
Dominoes
parking
lot*.
My
very
exhausted
mother
had
a
panic
attack
trying
to
park
the
car.
Unacceptable.
Now,
the
room.
Thankfully,
it
didn't
smell
of
smoke
or
weed
or
anything,
but
it
was
very
run
down
and
old
looking.
Black
mold
on
the
lamp,
holes
in
the
walls
and
ceilings,
very
obvious
water
damage
to
the
bathroom.
I
couldn't
tell
if
the
sheets
were
sandy
or
just
very
rough.
The
bed
sank
as
I
lay
down
in
it
(thankfully
I
was
completely
exhausted,
otherwise
I
probably
wouldn't
have
gotten
to
sleep).
The
room
itself
was
decently
spacious,
and
the
floor
was
nice.
Amenities
were
acceptable;
I
liked
the
mounted
TV
and
the
fridge
worked.
The
stand
up
shower
was
also
nice.
Overall,
this
hotel
is
in
desperate
need
of
an
inspection,
remodel,
or
somewhere
in
between.
It
has
potential
as
a
cheaper
beachfront
hotel,
but
for
the
price
you
pay
for
one
night
on
the
first
floor
in
front
of
the
beach,
the
hotel
should
be
way
above
the
par
it's
at
right
now.
It
was
unbelievably
unattended
to.
If
you
want
a
beachfront
hotel,
just
pay
the
extra
hundred
or
two
for
one
of
the
nicer
ones;
you'll
thank
yourself.
