There is nothing about this hotel that a skilled demolitions expert couldn't cure. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to see that one of the doors to the lobby was damaged and there was a strong odor which someone was attempting to cover with air fresheners that had been placed all around the lobby and hallways. Upon entering our room, things did not get better. The door to the balcony did not properly close or latch, the furniture was damaged, the bathroom towels were rust-stained by the towel racks, and there was so much humidity in the room (I refer you to the balcony door issue above) that the paint was peeling off of the picture frames. Later that night we discovered the bonus feature of our third floor room -- a live band that sounded like it was playing on our balcony! In reality, the incredibly loud music was coming from the outdoor Calypso Bar attached to the hotel, and (as an extra-special treat) it continued until 2am. I would be tempted to tell you about the dirty plastic cup I found under the air conditioner when I was examining the missing carpeting or the toilet paper holder which was literally hanging askew off of the wall, but I would be afraid that you would think I was exaggerating. The hotel staff was generally unhelpful and unfriendly. I consider myself to be one of those people who can make the best of any situation, but even I met my match in this place. I found myself at the hotel next door in the middle of the night, booking a room there for my family to stay for the rest of our trip. I cannot put it more simply than this: DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. At least they put out the dumpster fire in a modest amount of time. I wish I were kidding.

Just recently stayed here. The room was spacious and had an amazing view of the beach. The staff was awesome. The room wasn't dirty either. The reviews I read didn't seem to sway my decision going here. I didn't have any bad experience. Also didn't mind the walk to the parking lot, it was relaxing.

Where do I even start? The majority of the staff didn't even speak.The hallway was so hot and smelled like nothing but smoke. The first room we were assigned to was so DISGUSTING, there were stains and crumbs on the bed. The balcony door was so dirty, you could barely see out of it. The balcony had cigarette butts all over it. The carpet was coming up under the A.C. unit. The bathroom was so dirty especially the door. The towel rack was filthy, I don't see why anybody would want to use anything on there.The furniture was very dated including the T.V. We filed a complaint and we were moved to a different room 2 doors down. The guy that helped us out was very understanding and helpful. That room was a little better but still not great. We were so scared to even sit on the bed that we had to go to walmart and buy our own linens for the room and also had to clean the bathroom ourselves. This place is a mess and a disgrace I would have rather slept in the car! Don't stay here it is a waste of money!

I just stayed at this hotel on 07/23/2015. It was so loud as it was right above the bar my little one could not sleep. Then some one through a part three rooms down to 3am. The hotel from the outside looks nice the room however isn't so nice the balcony is falling apart and the curtains had stains that looked like crap on them. If i hadn't paid for the room already we would have left to find another hotel. I will never stay here again. Also the pool was a light green color too as it needed to be cleaned. Horrible stay.

I got this hotel with miles from my credit card. It was the cheapest but still beach front. If you are a college brat on spring break this is your place. Easy access, near liquor stores, beach front, unkempt. My and my girlfriend had a rough night trying to sleep with some very loud, very drunk college kids. The staff was kind of helpful trying to keep them under control, but still, a rough night. This is not a family hotel. Kind if dirty, staff is rude and the visitors in general are a loud crowd. I noticed the carpet was kind of humid, my remote did.not have batteries. Parking is around the corner, at least free but no security. The area is bad.

My husband and I were worried about staying here based on the reviews, but overall our room was fine. The bed wasn't amazing but the room was clean. The bathroom was very nice. We didn't have any problems with noise from the bar but we were on the 8th floor. The elevators were a bit old but we never had a long wait

I would never stay here again! The music in the restaurant is so loud. The bathroom was dirty...had to clean myself and spray Lysol across the entire room. Our room never got serviced. Keys had to be reset 5 times..even when we did not have them near keys or credit cards. The furniture is out dated...tube tv. Stay at your own risk. serviced. Our keys had to be reset 5 times. the room itself was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing but the bar downstairs was extremely loud at night with the live music. the only real problem was that the wifi was horrible and most of the people at the front desk were so rude. the parking is a little walk but no more than two minutes.
