Friendly staff, great atmosphere, tasty beer with an excellent variety, tasty grilled cheese, open late, and decent price. There’s a lot to like about this place! We came here for restaurant week 2022.

DO NOT miss this place. Convenient walk to the Birchmiere... so location is great. It's next to a 7-11. Don't let that fool you. This place is legit. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Offered water and then a discussion of draft beer options. Cocktails also available as well as food. Food smelled delicious. I can not say enough good things about this local gem. Dont miss the back patio. Everyone was working / hustling to make this customer experience fantastic. Kudos.!!

Wide selection of drinks, and some fun coctails. The grilled cheese selection was awesome and they tasted so good! A great place to relax and catch up with friends! Side note: Just be careful if your on the back patio, sometimes the dry cleaners next-door let big chuncks of lent fly rather often, so watch your drinks!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Northern Virginia. Amazing wings (I would eat the Old Bay wings DAILY), apps, and specialty grilled cheeses. This is one of my favorite places to bring visiting friends or get take-out or hang out in the outdoor area with my pup. Highly recommend. This is the spread I came home to one night after a long, tough day at work.

It's a little hole in the wall place but they have amazing sandwiches and a large variety of beers and even some moonshine. It's definitely a laid back atmosphere and they have some games like corn hole set up in the patio area. I had the tuna melt and it was sooo good. I also had the shine mule. It was a heavy pour of shine. 🙂

Had a great experience! The location is a bummer because I’m sure it goes missed due to not being on a busy street, but super glad I finally visited. The outdoor area is fantastic & the food (steak & cheese pictured) was great! -1 star for the flight of sours I got. They weren’t good, and I apologetically gave the waiter my feedback despite loving everything else about this place. Highly recommend for date night! Kid & dog friendly (outside).

My team and I went to Hops N Shine recently for a Happy Hour. We sat in the back of the venue. They have cornhole and a couple of other games outside. Their staff did a great job recommending beer and food to my group. I tried this Strawberry Cider. I lie to not it was the best Cider I’ve ever had. Aside from the beer options, they have a very diverse grilled cheese menu that paired well with the beer & ciders. My group staffed there for about 2.5 hours. My group tried the pretzel and the tatters with beer cheese. The beer cheese was fantastic. I wish I had pictures but it was finish so fast. I highly recommend this spot.

@hopsnshine I've never had moonshine cocktails before so this was a real treat! We also had some great food to pair with them as well: 💕 Walt cheesey grilled cheese: Absolutely DELISH, takes me back to the maguc kingdom with a perfect pairing to their tomato soup 💕 Banh Mi hot dog: loved the sweet and tangy combo 💕 Tots: perfectly crispy and great portion 💕 Wings: Yummy, great classic w/lots of fun flavours 💕 Moonshine margarita: Spicy nut not overwhelming, I think it's my new favourite marg to be honest 💕 Shine Mule: Yummy, light and refreshing 💕 We also got surprised with a dessert cocktail: it was like a white Russian with moonshine and soooo good Overall I'd say 10/10, will also definitely come back here. Let’s face it, friends: It’s been a long pandemic, and we all want to get out. What better reason than comfort food and moonshine? 😅 HopsnShine is a cool and kitschy place with lots of grilled cheese specialty sandwiches and … wait for it… Tater tots. That’s right, friends. I haven’t outgrown them, and neither have you. And they’re DELICIOUS. Crispy and perfect, they’re a taste of carefree childhood. Try the totchos. You won’t regret it. I also tried the Let’s Shroom grilled cheese sandwich, which was not as melty as it should have been, but the half I took home was perfection after a few minutes in the air fryer. Now let’s talk booze. The Ruby Red Grapefruit moonshine had just the right combination of infused flavor and a little bit of burn in the throat. It also was fantastic in the Sunrise Over Del Ray cocktail. The location in a strip mall belies the wonders of food and drink in this place. It has plenty of outdoor space and is both kid- and dog-friendly. Check it out, y’all.

Delicious wings for a reasonable price 25 for $34, can split wings into different flavor groups by request Good beer list, just have to use the app to look at the menu . Hard to pick , many to choose from 🍻 Location is deceiving. The restaurant is located in a plain environment and not an eye catching lot with other stores, but the Hops N Shine itself is a great place to eat and socialize. Recently in August, I suggested not to eat at the back outside because of a lot of bug 🪲 bites. Wait until late autumn 🍂 and winter ❄️ when bugs are less to eat at there comfortably. Recommend that place to hang out and chat, no frill and casual environment. The staff is good and accommodating.

We came here for dinner a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the food and drinks! I didn't try the moonshine, but they have a great selection of beer. The atmosphere is more fast casual. And it's perfect if you're looking for a place to primarily drink. That being said, the food is decent! I ordered the Cheesy Burger Melt (it came with a side-- I picked fries), and was not disappointed. My bf tried the Steak & Cheese (with tots) which was also good. I noticed that they have trivia nights on Wednesdays at 7 by District Trivia, so I'll have to come back for that!

First visit and would not visit again. Late evening, noone there, maybe two persons at bar so service was quick, but not initially friendly. Took her a moment to warm up. Almost as if she did not expect person of color. It felt a little off to me, as if I was not their "normal clientele". I get it with the area and persons hanging in this parking lot all day, every day. But I grew up in Warwick Village, so I don't fear that. But what turned me off the most were the very very very greasy burgers and tots. Did not sit well with my stomach. Have not tried other foods, but it was not good due to excessive grease.

The food at this place is soo good! They usually have some food specials and the drinks aren’t crazy expensive. Usually there’s some event going on as well from concerts to trivia night.
