My best friend and I decided to go on the Arts district food tour with Taylor and it was THE BEST!!! Taylor was so much fun and she knows a ton of neat things about Richmond! The food was amazing and we were completely waddling by the end of the tour!!! I will definitely be back with the whole family!!! Make sure to book through their website directly and save money!

I have done 2 food tours, a tacky light tour and purchased a gift box from this company. Every experience has been flawless and Brian and Erin are friendly and fun! I always recommend the food tours for people visiting or a gift box for people who have moved away and might appreciate a bit of Richmond. Will definitely be back - probably to try the brewery tour next!

Food was really good & Benedict was a great guide! We are from the area but it was fun to explore a part of the city we haven’t had as much time in.

The restaurants were all so delicious and unique, family owned places. Taylor did an amazing job telling us about the history of the arts district. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide Olivia was so fun and enthusiastic- she honestly made the tour what it was. We did the Careytown tour and the first two stops were really phenomenal- CanCan and New York Diner. Did not like Home Sweet Home that much and honestly would trade it out for another stop. Bev’s ice cream was delicious and the history is phenomenal. I would recommend this tour to anyone and the walking was completely manageable.

I booked Discover Richmond Tours for our work team’s holiday event and we had a blast learning about the different restaurants and Breweries in Scott’s Addition followed up by a tacky lights tour. They were very accommodating to our special requests for the event, and some last minute changes. Would work with them again for our next team outing!

We had the very best team building event with this cool Food and Brews tour with Discover Richmond! Not only did we get great food and lots of beer samplers… but we learned so much about the area and lots of fun stories. Only 3 of us were semi local and even we learned more about Scott’s Addition area than we had known prior. Lindsey was an awesome tour guide!! We’ve had many team events and dinners over the years and everyone enjoyed getting to move around vs sitting in the same spot for a typical team dinner we’ve done previously. Definitely recommend!!!!

I had an amazing experience with Discover Richmond Tours! Having taken three food tours and the Tacky Lights tour, I can't recommend them enough. Taylor, Olivia, Brian, and Rachel were fantastic guides, blending knowledge with vibrant personalities. These tours have been a delightful way to explore Richmond, especially for someone like me who's lived here for only 18 months. Excited for my next food tour!

Great tour through Church Hill with Benedict. Awesome way to explore the beautiful neighborhood, learn some interesting facts about its history, and try some delicious foods.

Toured Church Hill with our guide Benedict this past weekend. He was a wonderful leader and a resident of the neighborhood, so his knowledge, restaurant tips, and interest were genuine and made the tour full and fun. The stops were each wonderful - delicious food, warm and friendly restaurant owners/staff, and interesting history. It was laid back and interactive at the same time, a perfect idea for a local wanting to explore a different area of the city in a new way or for an out-of-towner to get a feel for RVA. My out of town guest and I (a local) both thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend and even do it again!

Today’s event was so well received by our entire group. Taylor was a delight and really knows her ‘stuff' as a tour guide in Richmond 😊 Everyone adored her enthusiasm and bubbly personality. I heard several people say that they never knew some of these places existed and they are ALL from Richmond. GO figure. The food was delicious and very filling. This was definitely a lot of fun, and I would highly recommend it to others.

We took the Churchill tour and we had an amazing time. Jess was our guide and she did a fantastic job of making the tour fun and even a little educational. Even though we're from the area, we learned some new things about Richmond. The real treat was the incredible food we tasted from the diverse choice restaurants we visited. I highly recommend taking this tour if you want to experience just a little of the great culinary delights that Richmond has to offer.

DC locals who made a trip down to Richmond. With a simple google search, Richmond food tours popped up and I thought it would be a fun idea to eat our way around Richmond areas- Discover Richmond Tours definitely didn’t disappoint. Dilwyn was extremely friendly with each group on the tour, taking the time to talk to each individually and adding humor into Richmond fun facts. The portions were honorable, and by the end of the tour, I couldn’t finish the dessert because I was stuffed. 11/10 recommend if you’re making a trip to Richmond!

Took my husband for his birthday and had a great time. Our guide Taylor was wonderful, we met some really nice people and the food was amazing. Definitely plan on doing another tour soon.

This was one of the best gifts I purchased for my family (Adult children). The food was top notch, the Host was so delightful, knowledgeable and fun. We will be booking other tours including gifting tours! Amazing!

I enjoyed the tour today (December 9,2021) Kelsy was a great guide! She was very professional and knowledgeable of Richmond, the neighborhoods and the businesses. She took the time to show us some additional special spots such as a hidden garden. All of the food was delicious! Three of the businesses were very friendly, welcoming and educational . The other two were not and did not allow us indoors because of “Covid.” This was a disappointment and required us to eat outside on a chilly night. Over all a great experience!

5 stars. I had the pleasure of joining the Arts District Discover Richmond Tour for an exploration of five restaurants in this amazing neighborhood. My fiancée and I had an amazing time - the pace was great, the variety of foods that were sampled was well thought-out, and our guide, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed chatting with the six other guests who joined us on this experience (a mix of Richmond locals and visitors). The tour was gifted to us as a gift certificate months ago (they never expire!) and the company's customer service was outstanding, replying within hours (even after business hours) when I requested assistance with booking and redemption of the gift certificate. Highly recommend this trip experience! -Z

The Carytown Food Tour was an awesome experience. Our tour guide, Lindsey, was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Carytown and the restaurants we visited. Very knowledgeable about the beer making process, and the stop at Garden Grove Brewery was unexpected but welcome! I think my personal favorites were New York Deli and Bev's ice cream. It gave my husband a chance to sample some places we were curious about or may not have thought to try. The price point was reasonable considering the many places we sampled, and we were full at the end of our tour. We will consider trying one of the food tours and highly recommend Discover Richmond Tours!

The Discover Richmond Food Tour in Carytown was a GREAT value and a lot of fun! Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and helpful. She brought us to 6 nice restaurants where we enjoyed a ‘top notch’ item from each. The food & restaurant selections were nicely varied and the portions were surprisingly good size! We have already recommended to our friends and looking forward to their other food tours.

This tour was so much fun. The food was tasty and the information about Richmond's history was very interesting. Taylor was a great tour guide. She made everyone feel involved and invited.

We had a fantastic time on the Church Hill Food Tour! Our tour guide, Olivia, was very kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable of the area! In addition to the delicious food you will eat on your tour, from locally owned restaurants, your tour guide will give you history details of the area you are in and interesting stories or individual unique details about the restaurants you are visiting. This tour was both delicious and informative altogether - we loved that! We look forward to booking another tour soon at one of their other locations!

This was a great experience! We've lived in Richmond for two years and the Church Hill tour was still a great way to see a new part of the city and support local businesses. The food was great (and there was a lot of it), and I love that we took a few detours to historical sites in the area. Our guide Kelsy was really kind to all.

Lindsey was a great tour guide and was able to pull the owners in to discuss their restaurants and vision. Very informative. If you are gluten free, the food tour will not be very fun for you. Broken Tulip and mussels at Can Can are the highlights.

This was a wonderful food tour experience. Kelsy was a knowledgeable and personable guide and provided great insight on both the businesses we visited and the neighborhood as a whole! The restaurant choices were wonderful, the portions generous and delicious. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting at Second Bottle. Proper Pie, Nile, Liberty Public House and Riverbend Roastery did not disappoint. It was the perfect way to spend a cold January afternoon getting to know our neighborhood a little bit better! Definitely recommend!

My family did a Carytown Food Tour over the weekend. Our guide, Lindsey, was fantastic. She was super fun and knowledgeable about the food, the restaurants, and Carytown itself. Also, she didn't judge us for playing Pokemon Go while we walked. It was also really cool to meet some restaurant owners and learn their histories. 10/10

We visited Richmond for the first time in mid-June and heard great things about the Carytown food tour in Richmond, VA, so we booked it. It was so lovely!! Lindsey led our tour and we visited a great variety of local restaurants. We do wish there was an extra stop added for the price, but we had a great tour experience overall.

We had a blast at the Carytown food tour on 6.11.22. Lindsay did a fantastic job guiding our group to 5 restaurants. We enjoyed learning the history of the restaurants and the Carytown area. The food was excellent and they accommodated food allergies for two people in our group. Here are photos from three of our stops. I highly recommend this event for visitors and residents of Richmond alike.

👍👍 My daughter started at Little Munchkin’s Academy just over a month ago and I’m so pleased with her development. My daughter wakes up saying “I have school, school is so fun” and runs to the car to the car in excitement to leave in the morning. She’s constantly singing, recognizes the alphabet/number...
