My husband and I enjoyed dining and overnight accommodation at the Farmhouse as a gift from our children. It was first class, from the beautiful room and wine in our room to happy hour before dinner, champagne going into dinner, and fabulous food and wine pairing. The following day, we had an excellent breakfast before heading back home. Thank you for a beautiful evening, and we will be back!

We had dinner at The Farmhouse, as I was looking for a romantic upscale dinner with my girlfriend. The Farmhouse is a beautiful old farm home in the middle of the Vertias vineyards. They had one prix fixe seating at 6:30 pm. Cute touch, our name was on the table reservations card. It was four courses, described in detail on the menu card along with the wine pairing. The room we were in had four 2 tops. They brought each course in for all the tables at once after the wine for that course was poured. Perfectly orchestrated. Simple terms: first course was shrimp and grits with tomato conserve - wonderful, second course was black bean lentils with duck stock and pickled fennel - very comforting, entree was local beef tenderloin medallion cooked to a perfect MR with lamb demi Glace, creamed collard greens and sweet potato hash. Dessert was poached pears with sorghum brown butter cake and creme anglaise. Service was elegant food was wonderful. They need some exterior lighting. Very dark parking lot. Might fall into the vineyards if not careful! No children allowed. Great place for a special dinner or to get engaged!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The food is phenomenal. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff is wonderful. So many great touches that other B&B's don't have, such as fresh baked cookies available all day, the 5pm wine hour with snacks, and the impeccable service at dinner. Truly a 5 star experience.

We had the distinct pleasure of celebrating our wedding at the Farmhouse, and it was probably the best decision we ever could have made. The 8 rooms on the property made for a wonderfully intimate and unique environment. The house itself, nestled among the vineyards, was charming and picturesque. But what really is important to know that you can't tell from pictures is that the staff are all so wonderfully kind and helpful, and that the food is absolutely and indulgently divine. Those two elements really made the weekend something special, and we're so glad that we ended up celebrating our wedding with this amazing team at the Farmhouse.

We wish we could have stayed here but thankfully at least were able to make a dinner reservation at the restaurant. Phenomenal! Very personable experience with a budding staff and chef that aim to please. We had the filet mignon and which was cooked perfectly and the wines were outstanding. I have experience in the wine industry out west as well as food and wine pairing and this was such a gem of a find. The atmosphere was incredibly picturesque as well. WELL worth the price and there wasn't a single dish or wine we didn't like. We will be back and would recommend to anyone!

Truly an incredible dinner experience all around. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often! We arrived early to get our champagne and walk around the property, which is gorgeous. We were seated in a private dining area, with special menus that said “Happy Birthday”, since I let them know I was celebrating there. The service is top notch. But beware, you can’t add more guests to your party after a certain time so if anything changes with your reservation, let them know ASAP! The wine pairings with each meal were fabulous. I especially liked trying the ice wine at the end with dessert. I also love that they change the menu and are seasonal! Our menu was dreamy! The first course shrimp and grits had us all licking our plates. We even asked the chef at the end how he made the grits. Perfect!! The next round was an interesting goat cheese and corn soup. Loved the pumpkin seeds with it. Then….the filet. YUMMMM! Now they don’t ask you how you like it cooked but we all got rare which was fine. The asparagus was nice with it too. The dessert topped it all off, with a perfect peach compote and almond cake that had us all delighted. Or maybe it was all the wine. Not to be missed is the pipping hot French press coffee we all enjoyed after dinner. Again, superior service, cozy atmosphere, and we enjoyed our convo with the chef afterwards. It was certainly a special occasion for the price, but in my party’s opinion, very worth it and a night we will not soon forget.

My wife and I enjoyed a few days at The Farmhouse at Veritas as we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our experience exceeded expectations. The personableness of the staff, the agreeableness of the atmosphere, the excellent food and wine, the pastoral setting. It was all magnificent. One of the guest informed me that he and his wife have been frequent guests of The Farmhouse for several years. Another gentleman shared with me that the atmosphere was kind of magnetic to him. I understand. Sipping a glass of Chardonnay while rocking and reading in the mid-afternoon, walking to the Tasting Room for lunch, or strolling the vineyard, all have become welcomed memories. I heartedly endorse The Farmhouse at Veritas for the quality of the experience.
