Loved out stay at Afton Mountain Inn for my dad's 60th birthday celebration. New ownership is great! We did not have a single problem. Check in was easy as it is self check in and I had a personalized code to get into the house and my room. The rooms were luxurious with an espresso in each room! Not to mention the outdoor space is great-- so many places to relax outside and so close to breweries and wineries on 151!

Beautiful house and property!! The new management really decorated and refurbished the house beautifully. Self check in process was really convenient and easy. Close to all the 151 breweries!!

I stayed the weekend with family at the Afton Mountain Inn, and it was fabulous! The Inn is under new ownership and has the perfect mix of historic charm and modern convenience (thanks to the pretty special renovation work just recently complete). The Inn utilizes a self check-in process and guests have access to a game room, sitting room/parlor, and a coffee bar, etc., area (in addition to their private rooms of course). The rooms all have a different design, but have commonalities headlined by incredibly comfortable beds and exceptionally well designed bathrooms (albeit the bathrooms are all unique as well). The Inn is unquestionably impressive, but the grounds are equally impressive. There is a trail that winds through the back of the property and alongside a beautiful creek. A fire pit with plenty of Adirondack chairs is just behind the Inn (we did s'mores and stargazed). There is also a volleyball area being built and a pool with cabanas ( the pool wasn't open yet, but this will be fantastic in the summer months). I'm definitely going to stay at the Inn again, and I certainly recommend others visit the Inn and enjoy all of its amenities. Lastly, did I mention that the location can't be beat?

The accommodations were amazing. The house is full of history which were described in lovely books left in each cozy bedroom. The hosts were very attentive to our needs, beginning with the day we actually made the reservations. They called to ask about any special needs or foods to avoid during our stay. The home cooked breakfast on both days was scrumptious and very filling. Orquida and Dan were wonderful hosts and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We are looking forward to going back.

219.00 plus tax for one night. Property and room nice. Breakfast was sparse. Did have fresh cookies on arrival. Told we were early (10 mins). Owner interrupted conversation at breakfast a couple of times. She appeared a little stresed. I just think it was alot of money and they could do better. Owner was

Our stay at Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast was such a great moment on our trip. My wife and I stayed two night in the Thomas Jefferson room and were treated like royalty. This was a trip for our 25th anniversary and we could not have asked for a better time. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast, but will certainly not be our last. Orquida and Dan were amazing hosts, allowing full access to the house and grounds. The homecooked breakfast each morning was an amazing touch and proved to be delicious, as well. Early morning coffee and homemade cookies outside the room is a nice touch. They had had great recommendations for local food and drink. The evenings and morning were so relaxing to sit on the porch, the back porch or in one of the sitting rooms and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. We look forward to returning in the future and recommend anyone interested to explore and give them a try.

We stayed at Afton B&B for two nights in the Goodwin room. We arrived a little earlier than expected, sorry! But the owner, Orquida, was really nice about it and gave us the tour of the house. The Goodwin room was up the stairs to the left, had a king size bed (technically two twins, so not quite that long), and an ensuite bathroom with shower. It even has its own little AC unit! The door was a little wonky, but Orquida took us through some tips and tricks to use it easier The breakfast provided by Orquida was absolutely delicious! We had coffee and juice, roasted pear with yogurt? or maybe cream?, and apricot stuffed french oat toast with locally sourced sausage. It was by far the best breakfast I've had in a while! It was very close to Shenandoah NP which is why we were in the area, so perks! Also, friendly dog (Ozzy!)

Orquida and Dan were wonderful hosts to us for our first B&B experience. The home is beautiful and historic with a lot of character and charm but yet modern comforts have been added. Very comfortable bed, soft sheets, white noise machine, Wi-Fi, Roku TV, delicious homemade cookies and breakfast. We loved sneaking out into the hallway at night for a cookie and a cup of hot tea. They've thought of everything to make your stay personal, comfortable, and enjoyable. Plus many fun attractions in the area. We will be back!

We spent two nights at the B and B and the owners were so friendly and accommodating. We had a flat tire on the way and arrived after midnight and they waited up for us and had the lights on and door unlocked. We went on the tunnel hike and were not aware that you need flashlights and they gave us lights to use on our hike. Plenty of coffee available self serve in the morning starting at 7 and the sit down breakfast was delicious. The room was cute, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Close to multiple wineries and hiking areas. Highly recommend.

We spend two nights at this B&B prior to the start of our Blue Ridge Parkway trip. There is a lot to do in the area. We did a tour of Monticello, visited number of local wineries, and went on a short hike through the Crozet Railroad Tunnel. Afton Mountain B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was very comfortable. Both breakfasts were delicious. The highlight of our mornings was saying 'hi' to Ozzi. :) Orquida and Dan are great and very attentive hosts. If we ever back in the area, we would definitely stay with them again.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary by driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and ended our trip with staying 2 nights in the Looking Glass room. The B&B was beautiful and the owners were very nice. Our favorite part was the delicious breakfast and having access to the coffee/tea/ cookie station outside of our room. The only downside to this property is that it is located very close to a heavily trafficked roadway and so it's a bit loud if walking around outside, but fortunately once inside the home the noise is barely noticeable. We definitely recommend this B&B and would stay again!

Easy access to many wineries and breweries. Very clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Including little details like USB ports by bedside for charging phones.

An excellent stay at this adorable and quaint B&B! The room was very comfortable, the food was scrumptious, property is well kept, clean and welcoming. The owners were so nice and accommodating. Loved the location. We were able to visit 7 breweries/wineries and the caverns in just a day. Highly recommend Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast for anyone looking to just disconnect from the crazy world and enjoy a little R&R!

A beautiful B&B, great location, comfortable rooms, and wonderful innkeepers! Orquida and Dan were very accommodating and welcoming. There were snacks in the room, coffee in the mornings, fresh baked cookies, and delicious breakfasts. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would definitely stay again ourselves!
