Beautiful cycling path. Former rail line. 55 kilometers through rural villages. Some nice cafesalong the way. Mostly downhill from Tomar which makes for easy riding.

Nice 50km bike ride. Only by the river for a little way. Only one cafe on way and nothing at the end. Next time I'd take food and drink and stop at the point you are closest to the beautiful river. But an easy bike ride. Maybe a bit if a sore bum..,.

Didn´t I tell you the Ecopistas where cool...They are throughout the country and you are still sitting in a bar in Lisboa...Really...It´s o.k. stay right where you are at...Resident and supporter of the local economy of Portugal since 2016

In May with flowering broom in a lot of places along the Ecopista do Dão it was a delight to cycle on.

A wonderful and scenic trail, but blocked by many trees between s.comba and tonda. What a pity! 6 Stars without, nur at the moment, it is a sort of survival trail...

I rented a bike from Abelenda Bike Hire - superfriendly and nice service. I was too late to make use of the transfer from Santa Comba Dão to Viseu to cycle back to SCD, you'd need to book that in advance. Alternatively, I cycled from SDC to Tondela and back, which was just lovely, such a wonderful way to explore!

Among the best cycling routes in the world. Great views, simple support infrastructure and bike fairing services.

A lovely trail, forest fire damage very evident from Tondela section. More bins needed and repair work please.
