We loved our stay at Casa Picva. The host was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with homemade lemon curd, fresh breads, meats, cheeses, local strawberries and homemade natas. The location can’t be beat with access to the walled city at the front door. Thank you for a wonderful time in Obidos.

Our hosts were wonderful and take a great deal of pride in their home and were so welcoming. The home is filled with wonderful antiques that tell the story of the many generations of the family that have lived there. Spacious room, very nice linens, cozy bed and large bathroom. Quiet. Great breakfast.

There aren’t enough words to describe How much we loved staying here. The hosts are amazing. The Home is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Every room is unique and beautiful. The back garden was beautiful and perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast was amazing- a true palace breakfast! Location is amazing, walk out the front and straight into the village entrance. I highly recommend and hope that I can be back soon! Thank you!

PERFECT STAY AND HOST! The place it extraordinary. Private, quite, (there are only 3 private rooms which are rented), clean and convenient to all your want and needs. This home has been in the family for 6 generations and is decorated with historic heirloom pieces and artwork. JP (the host) and his wife Anna are super accommodating and are expert guides. JP prepared a fresh breakfast every morning and made sure all your needs and wants are provided. DON’T OVERLOOK THIS PLACE !!!

Fantastic place to stay in Obidos. Great location, great host, well appointed, comfortable and spacious rooms. The breakfast was also amazing - highly recommend you include especially just over 7 euros a head. The homemade lemon curd, pasteis de natas, and other delicious items add a great touch. Easy access to all the sites, restaurants in the town. We would definitely stay again.

A truly wonderful and very special small hotel (BnB really) right outside the wall of Obidos. Bucolic views from a sunny garden, complete with a lemon tree and small pond will make you feel like you are in a painting from times long gone. A beautiful old house filled with antiques, art and love. Proprietors' attention to detail is amazing and they make sure that you have everything you need during your stay. Breakfast in the beautiful antique-filled dining room with a grand chandelier is deliciously memorable. Freshly baked, warm bread rolls, 3 kinds of cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt and fromage blanc, home made lemon curd (from the lemon tree in the garden) and apple and cherry preserves, freshly squeezed orange juice and fantastic coffee from freshly ground coffee beans are a 5 star breakfast feast. João, one of the owners, is a lovely and very hospitable host, who made our stay one of the most memorable in all our travels. He even gave us a parting gift of a bottle of wine! We could not have asked for a better experience.
