This is a fantastic big house owned by Manuela and Joao and also 2 lovely dogs. Incredibly beautiful, clean and comfortable! Everything is perfect here. There are 4 big bedrooms for guest with very good quality, and we lived in the biggest one of 40 square meters! The breakfast is delicious and beautiful. Everything in the house for decoration is like an art which is cherished so well for many years. The owners are very kind and helpful. I'm still missing the evenings when the sun got down and we sat in the garden and drank coffee and talked with the owner and also the other guests.

This place couldn’t get a more descriptive name, it’s full of charm with beautiful ornaments and lots of art work done by the talented host, Manuela. The rooms are spotlessly clean and everything is very comfortable and accommodating. Lovely rich breakfast and excellent service. Highly recommend

Incredible! This hotel is an absolute gem! Communication with the owners is super easy and responsive. I was asked to even check in early, which was really nice and convenient for me. The hotel, it is absolutely beautiful! Very nice home converted into hotel. So if you are looking for a place with few rooms, that is very clean, with excellent service, and appreciate privacy…look no further. Also, they provide maps of the city and even recommendations for your trip, as well as metro card that you can use and simply top up with credit. The room, we had the Cream Suite. Just as beautiful! Extremely clean, even the towels smell like baby powder! Rooms are spacious, with A/C and very dark at night as well. Breakfast buffet, is delicious. All home made meals! We really enjoyed our three night stay, and look forward at coming back in the future! To Manuela and Joao, thank you for the excellent service!

It is a beautiful place, peaceful, quiet, and very specially decorated for the last and every detail. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The homemade breakfast is great. The area around the house is nice and quiet. Great place!

Very charming! The house was wonderful! Lots of homey touches including art made by the owner. The beds were so comfy I never wanted to wake up. The breakfast was AMAZING, Soo much food! The host was super thoughtful and friendly. The off street parking was very convenient so close to town as well. I will stay here again if I am ever in the area.

Awesome stay. Truly the best in Porto. I've been three times in porto. Always hotel and then found this one. Simply great! You feel like being a family member, even with distance if do not want to have it. It was great. Clean, superb accommodation, great breakfast, great talk. Great, great, great.Thank you! Already at check in we felt very welcome in this guest house. Manuella (the owner of the house) showed us the facilities, and it was clear she wanted us to feel well and at home during our stay. We stayed three nights. Charming Antas House is quite close to the motorway, so it is easy to get there. The breakfast was a fantastic new creation every morning, so we started the days in a perfect manner and harmony. It is a very clean and very quiet house, and because it is small (6 rooms), you feel at home without the stress and noise of a big hotel. Parking is inside the fence and is free of charge. Some restaurants are close to the hotel, and we found the one opposite to the metro station to be very good (caution: Take half portions, as they are huge). The metro is 10 minutes walk away, so it is easy to get to city center, or wherever one would like to go without taking the car out. A big thank you to the hosts of the house for making our stay so wonderful. Vio & Hans

I stayed here for three nights during the recent Rally Portugal. I cannot say enough about the beautiful rooms and the location, a few minutes walk from the Porto underground which takes you right into the centre of town in a few minutes. The ease of having off street car parking and a lovely cafe/bar/restaurant only a few minutes walk away was also fantastic. Manuela welcomed us with a beautiful hand written note in the room and two glasses of a wonderful Port wine. We asked Manuela would it be possible to make up two beds from the large single bed and this was done without fail as I hadn't requested it to begin with. I recommend this hotel without reservation, having somewhere as lovely as this to return to at the end of each day and with a host as kind and friendly as Manuela really makes for a wonderful stay and a great holiday.
