Visited for dinner with friends during Vizag trip. Its multi- cuisine upscale restaurant in Dolphin hotel. Situated on 7th floor has a good view of City. Wide variety of food options and food taste is good. Service is excellent. Place is well maintained and usually gets full during late evening. There is Live Music and singing during evening time

Loved the ambience, view and food. Try to get a corner table with a view and you will have a great time. Good place to hangout with friends and family. Must try: Vegetable cashew bullets, American Choupsey.

This was my second visit to the prestigious Dolphin hotel. Was disappointed last two times as i could not manage entry to the restaurant because all seats were filled. But this time i was prepared and booked a table for five at about 3 Hrs prior to going. It was a special evening so wanted to try this place. Always heard about their live band performances. Got good seats. The restaurant must be having a capacity of 50-60 people maybe. Well lit and classically decorated. Tables chair and cloths might require some changes but all in all very good. The band was playing old classical Hindi songs to lighten up the evening. No Telugu songs that night. Might have a special day for it maybe. Coming to food. We ordered some starters with drinks. Quantity and quality was good. Decent portion size and little higher rates. *Drinks are way too costly*. Definitely needs a relook. Main course were okay. Nothing very special here. Prices here again on a higher side. As i told you it was a special evening and they even got us a small cake for the celebrations. Kind gesture from the hotel staff. All in all a perfect evening with soothing music. Do visit to have a relaxing time with friends and family.

Tried Dolphin’s signature biryani (kheema) the taste was amazing . Veg sizzler was not upto the mark . Overall it’s an above average one. Must try Biryani !!!

Average food. But don't go without a reservation. We went for a buffet. It's a costly place but good. There are less varieties of dishes as compared to buffet in other hotels. Good for a one time visit. Not going there anytime soon again.

They are resting on their past laurels. Apparently, it used to be one of the best restaurents in vizag. I visited them thrice over the last month. On all the occasions, the service has been below standards. Food taste is below mark. To sum it up, the experience has been disappointing. I wish they improve and get back to being the best which they once used to be. Really sad to see a place that I loved once falling in its standards.

Nothing good about this apart from service and ambience. Food is really really bad. None of the meat is properly cooked. We have order almost 10 dishes and not even a single one of them is tasty. I can't even suggest you to go for the view as you would have nothing to eat but just enjoy the view of vizag from there. Deeply disappointed.

One of the best restaurants in the city! You'll have good view of the city during the day time and there's good live music in the evenings. Restaurant is clean and hygienic and the cutlery is properly sanitized and sealed unlike many other restaurants. Service is excellent! Parking isn't a worry as the space is ample. It's hard to get a table without prior reservation, so would recommend giving them a call a few hours before your visit. While there are many options across desserts, most of them are always unavailable.

This restaurant is seriously underrated. The ambience is amazing, the service time is also less and the staff is very courteous. Would recommend reserving a table in advance, especially on weekends. They also have live music that mostly plays old Hindi songs. The place has a very nice vibe in general.

I have been visiting this place since a long time. I love the Mexican hot pot soup, crispy chili chicken, golden fried prawns, fish and chips, chicken steak, of late the lasanga is good and caramel custard to end the scrumptious food. The band plays from 8 pm to 10 pm. The service is little slow but the staff is good. The chef is good at continental dishes. Mostly you will need reservations especially on the weekends. Cocktails and mocktails are available. There is no buffet in Horizon.

The ambience is really nice . I had a wonderful time here with my family. The food was absolutely delicious.The singers voice was really good . Worth every penny you spend .

Decent food. Satisfactory spread. Both can be way better for the price. They have a scam in the name of water bottle. They pre-place a bottle of drinking water costing Rs 125 + GST on the table.

The restaurant is amazing has live music and amazing atmosphere. Great food too. The only thing wrong is the hostess outside way too rude and would always tell you that the whole place already booked to the brim and then later call after like five minutes to say it was free.

Best restaurant of Vizag 30 years ago and surprisingly it's still the best...be it ambience, food quality, customer care, promptness of service, DJ et all. The view of Vizag from the restaurant is just out of the world.

Horizon is my favorite place in vizag for dinner. The ambience and live music always adds the charm to the evening. Staff especially mani babu very friendly listens to us and suggests a perfect dishes and drinks. I truly enjoy this place.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit here. I attended a team dinner party, and both the service and the food were excellent. I opted for a slightly spicy dish, and it turned out to be flavorful and delicious. The restaurant features live music, adding to the overall ambiance. It's definitely a place worth visiting more than once.

Had an amazing time. Made reservations coz it was a weekend. Highly recommend their dolphin special biryani and kalmi kebabs. Impeccable service, beautiful ambience and very tasty food. Go here for a great time.

I have known this place for a decade now . It's still my best for fine dine-in in Vizag . Awesome foods and drinks combined with live music band is an experience to indulge in . Must visit on birthdays , they will make it special with cakes , music wishes and special discounts . Long Live Horizon on 7th Floor !!!

One of the oldest in Vizag but turned into a disappointing restaurant. The prices are exorbitant very high and portions are very less. Especially for lunch this is a big waste. Delay in service. Not value to money. Other places like Novotel, Greenpark etc offer better food , drinks and ambience

Heard a lot about it. My family has an older generation that adores this place. So went today, with parents and wife and kid. But we were sent away saying that there is going to be a two hour wait !!! Needless to say, will never visit again. And i cannot rate a restaurant that throws me out with a 5 star :) We visited the nearby Daspalla Dimple and to be honest, both the hospitality and the availablity were wonderful Advice to people - please reserve a week in advance. This hotel has a brand, a historicity, which is what makes people run to it still But in reality, customer service standards have fallen and will probably slide down more if they don't look about Dolphin is becoming a relic, a shadow of what it used to be If it weren't for old laurels, this place would have a hard time continuing

It's the employees who make an organisation grow. In every term, say it the service, interaction or the way one expects in every business. Then there is someone like Mr.Paul (F&B Mngr I guess) whose reputation is not so good as known from my Friends, and today unfortunately I have experienced the same. People like him should be examined properly before employed, as it also spoils the trust of years old trust on a Hotel. Hopefully will not expect to see him next time if I ever visit.

Food is good. Ambience is too good and i love the Jumbo prawns . But I feel it bit costly. Nice cosy resturant to go with family or with friend's .

One of the iconic restaurants in Vizag since the 90s, still being a classy place. The atmosphere was great with the band performing Bollywood classics live. The food was great too. For the main course we had the special mutton biriyani which was amazing and the boneless mutton was so soft and juicy. Overall the evening was very well spent

Singers are good. Song selection has to be ramped. Would suggest Adding a Telugu song also. The Manager has to look into this as Hindi speaking people are also loving them. Many times it has been requested but these are not added. Please give it a thought.

Horizon was more of a nostalgic visit for us, used to visit with parents back in school and wasn't disappointed! The quality of continental food continues to be too notch, highly recommend the prawn shaslik and the chicken pepper steak. The tandoori kebab platter served as a great appetizer. Definitely recommended if looking for quality continental dishes!

The place has amazing food, with good ambience. The best part is you can hear to live music while having lunch/dinner, it is recommended to go in the night/late evening (so that you can have a good view), they offer discounts for military personnel as well.

A great place to visit with your loved ones as the food is too good , service and the ambiance was awesome. I personally enjoyed as there was live music playing. I suggest you to try sea food as it's really delicious. A great place for sea food lovers.

It's always the best. It has a fine dining experience with the best views of the old city. The band that plays old Hindi songs adds to the charm. Food never disappoints. It's always our go to place with family.

Dolphin Hotels and restaurant has been a nostalgic place for me even since childhood and I’m beyond impressed even after all these years! The food was heavenly and scrumptious, especially their curd rice with gongura pickle. We have been talking about that curd rice ever since we ate it! They have excellent vegetarian options as well. Their starters and biryani was exquisite and freshly served. To top it all, the live band singing old classical melodies and Mr. Ramana’s top notch service filled out hearts 😊 This place is a must visit in vizag and there is no other place I would go whenever I’m in town.

Am visiting this place since ages. It gives a nostalgic feeling rather than a modern look. They must renovate their restaurant. But otherwise a very good place to visit and have quality time with family.

We were a large group of 8 members. The service was slow and inconsistent. Towards the end they weren't interested in offering desserts and we had to wait a while just to get the menu. The live music is way to loud and we cannot have a conversation. Would not recommend is your really to have a conversation.

Nice restaurant, would recommend to everyone. Really good and friendly staff, amazing chef. Best tikka masala that I’ve ever had, but if you want try something different nice Italian cuisine available too. Also was surprise with local band, lovely music.
