Staff are judging people by their looks.... I felt so unhappy by their behaviour.... came with my family for lunch in the restaurant but the experience I had with the staff was really pathetic. I don't understand that nowadays also some people are judging books by it's cover. Reception staff and the restaurant staff need some training on customer relationships and equity. Whoever is the higher management of this hotel please get this addressed with your staff on the mentioned unethical behavior. Anyhow this will be my first and last visit. Thank you for your service 🙏

Please stay away!!!!!!!!!! This hotel doesn't feels like 5 star at all, you can get a better experience at a cheaper hotel than staying here. The location is good as it's beach view hotel but all the other things are bad. The place is not at all maintained. Room walls are dirty looking as the wall putty are falling. The main problem here is the reception, the guy in the reception behaved very rudely to me as my handwriting are not very good on the check in form. I have booked a room with pool view but he tried fooling me with a very bad room with windows pointing to concrete wall. Then he shouted like anything when I tried to change the room. I have stayed here for 3 night with family and I am never going back to that place. Please stay away...!!!!!!!!!

Felt like a 3-star property. Not maintained well. Limited food options. AC problem in the room. Common area occupied for wedding and other functions. Location is good and check-out was quick. They offered me another room because AC didn't work. Would find another place to stay the next time.

I checked in this hotel on 14.01.2024 with my family, booked sea view room. Positive points 1. Service and behaviour of staff was good 2. Big property with nice garden view 3. This hotel has pool facility. Negative points 1. This property is over priced. 2. Rooms are not spacious. 3. Property definitely needs renovation. 4. I was disappointed with my recent stay at The Park-vizag, Despite having high expectations based on the positive reviews I had read, I encountered several issues that greatly affected my overall experience. Firstly, upon entering the room assigned to me, I couldn't help but notice the outdated appearance and worn-out condition. The furniture appeared to be quite old and showed signs of significant wear and tear. The paint on the walls was chipped, and the cushion chairs had visible stains and frayed edges. The overall ambiance of the room was far from the comfortable and inviting atmosphere I had anticipated. Furthermore, the amenities provided in the room were not up to the expected standards. The air conditioning unit had no remote to adjust the temperature and I had to make frequent trips in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature. The bathroom fixtures were also outdated, and there were leaks from the tap ends and the water pressure in the shower was extremely low, which made it challenging to take a refreshing shower. Considering the amount I paid for my stay and the reputation of your hotel, I had hoped for a more pleasant and enjoyable experience. I believe it is crucial for a hotel of this caliber to ensure that all rooms are properly maintained and that amenities are in good working order.

decided to visit The Park to celebrate a special occasion recently. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Shack Restaurant on the Beach. Gives off a Goa Feel with live music. Don't get me wrong, this is not a positive review. The prawns garlic snack we ordered was way too salty and oily. Not what you would expect from a pricey Hotel. On pointing it out to the waiters that more than double the salt was used, they replaced it with another plate of a substandard prawn dish. Am glad we did not order anything else to eat and waste our money there. Just too expensive, small portions, no taste. Pointless altogether. Even the ushers at the entry couldn't be bothered with our questions about where the restaurant was. We then simply walked across to the hotel next door and had the most delicious food, at such reasonable rates, with attentive staff-All of which was Non-existent at the Park. Quite sad as we had lovely memories of great times spent here in the past. Now it's past it's time. Please avoid.

Main attraction for casual visitors is "The Shack" of Hotel Park. Food is outstanding. Staff is just too good and renders excellent hospitality. I ordered dishes which take time but on my request, I don't know how but the staff there ensured quick (however excellent) service. With such delicious food in your mouth when you witness the amazing sea view, listen to the sound of waves crashing on the shore and feeling the cool breeze.......... all your worries just evaporate. Real icing on the cake was when chef came and asked for our reviews on food. That was something which we all liked. Really enjoyed the hospitality and mouthwatering food. Definitely coming again here with some great plans of big party with friends.

It was our anniversary and we stayed for 4 nights. For a 5 star resort, I will honestly say that it was not worth it. For the prices we paid, the services were poor. The room, bathroom and its fixtures were old, rusty and leaking from every place. The cafe was undergoing renovation and the Night club was closed as it was a week day. The food at The Shack was less than average and the wait staff was not experienced for a 5 star resort. The food would take a minimum of an hour to reach the table. One time we were informed after 30 mins of placing the order that the starter was unavailable. Another time, the soup came without the bread slices as mentioned in the menu. And when we insisted upon the bread, it was served, but by that time the soup was cold. The food was not worth the price and the services were not worth the 5 stars associated with the resort. For the 4 nights that we stayed, the resort hosted private events due to which access to the complete resort grounds was forbidden. Moreover, the music would get loud and disturbing. The selling point of the resort is that it is on the beach making it kind of private for the resort. However, the access to the beach would close at 6 pm. So we had to walk via the main road to get to the beach. In short, The Park needs to really redo their resort and their restaurants along with their services and work towards customer satisfaction.

A 3.5 star hotel & experience at a 5 star location. The property is lucky to be well placed. But have along way to become class hotel… the front desk needs to go thro training. All are useless. Any request took sooo long that’s it’s need was over. Food & service at the shack was good. Rooms are average but spacious. Toiletries are wonderful. To pay this price and get this standard was not impressive at all…

Only direct beach access hotel. Hotel structure is beautiful as it's not like modern building structure but yes looks a bit old, painting required. Lot of open spaces till beach to roam amount. Food is good, in room menu need to have more options. Evening dinner at sea side restaurant was good. Note, beach is not clean at all, not hotels fault , but you cannot play at all at sea. Overall experience good.

The hotel is more than 50 years old. Some rooms are sea facing. The free space/lawn in hotel is huge. It is connected to beach. The rooms can be more spacious & looks old. The south indian food was good but they don't have varieties.

The rooms were okayish considering the price they charged. The cleaning and other room services were too slow. Our ac was not working properly. Although, the view and the connected beach creates a great atmosphere to chill. The restaurant area is really pretty and has great vibes. The staffs were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is at a perfect location right on the beach, and in the mornings there is almost no one on the beach so it's pretty private. The grounds are well kept. The rooms and buildings are old and not modern, so you won't get the same look and feel like some of the newer international hotels. The walls and paint is not fresh. Over all I would recommend this place, but if you're looking for something modern and cutting edge, this may not be the place.

We had an amazing time at the Vista restaurant. The spread was great & the service was also superb to say the least. Vipin took personal care of us & we enjoyed every bit of the hospitality. Chef Trisha was also good & we loved the waffles & Pan cakes. Overall we had a great time & we will be back soon!

I recommend this place to any friend who is looking to for a short stay in Vizag. The rooms offer a view of the beach. It has an outdoor pizzeria by the swimming pool. They have an indoor restaurant where food is served for the guests. They have a well maintained lawn by the pool. The ambience of the place is extremely pleasing. The hotel staff is courteous. The place is clean and tidy. The hotel has easy access to the beach as well.

It's not a value for money hotel. Rooms, furniture are very old. Bathroom has not ventilation. Room Service is very poor. Staffs are non responsive. Quality of items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush etc are very poor. Price is very high in comparison to the quality. Only go if you want to stay on sea beach, rest experience is not good at all.

This is an old school hotel, without a question. What's good: quality of material in the room, all amenities, beach view, pool view, perfect location, so many attractions near by, so many restaurants near by, open park, lots of greenery. What's bad: bed size(small), in room dining service(they forget, at times) Overall, a big thumbs up.

I visited this place for a fashion exhibition with my family to purchase some branded apparel, The arrangements were so poor, clothes were stinky, barely space to walk. Even footpath sellers would arrange clothes in an organised manner but these people failed. Utterly Nonsense and waste of time.

One of the best hotels in vizag. All the staff was really nice and ready to help us. The housekeeping staff (Lakshmi) was really good. The food was superb. I would definitely go and stay again if I get a chance.

I had a wonderful stay experience at the hotel. The beach could be viewed from my room and being on ground floor their was a back door to access to garden from the room which led to the beach. Another significant aspect that I liked as a visitor was its proximity to RK beach and going on stroll around the beach was fun and easy. If I visit Vizag again, I’d want to stay here again.

The whole staff deserve 5 stars. They were all very kind and nice to us. I had foot fracture and they took care of me so well throughout my stay. They provided me wheelchair and helped during breakfast. I asked for late check-out coz my flight was late, and I couldn't walk, they absolutely helped with that too. Very nice people. The room dining food was very delicious. I highly recommend the Park hotel to all. Very nice people. Thank you so much guys.

The Park is always a warm and beautiful place to spend time with friends and have memories. Recently i had a girls night with my childhood friends. The ambience was amazing and the food was so delicious. The staff are so hospitable and attentive.

Staff in the reception in totally unhelpful. If you have a pet, they shun you from all facilities. They couldnt even help us with basic services and in essence asked us to stay hungry till check in. We reached this hotel after a 10 hour drive. Shame on the brand for such hospitality.

The location is good. It’s right on the beach. So, you can enjoy pleasant evenings and nights. But the hotel itself is old. Even the lift reeks of that old smell. So, the rooms. Not unstayable but easily noticeable. Even the bathroom flush gets stuck. Breakfast is also not great. If those few improvements are made, it will be a terrific stay .

I expected a lot by the name of THE PARK, there is no comparison of property of Kolkata location and vishakhapatnam. If I suppose to give rating, then Kolkata is 8 out of 10 and vishakhapatnam is 4 out of 10. My stay was at room no. 218. The rooms are of average standard. Toilet is not cleaned. Furnitures are broken. The toilet is so small that, if door is opened, then no place to stand inside. Swimming pool is okay type. I went around 6:00 AM, and the pool is full of mosquitoes, bugs and dry leaves. No one came to clean the pool. I asked for a water bottle, bcz my son was thirsty, they said yes, but I didn't get it near pool. Again I have to leave my kid and went to room, to get water bottle. Hospitality at shack (restaurant) is worst. The hotel people dnt knw how to behave and how to talk in polite manner. Some guys (like Anil) at Trion restaurant were good.

Service is great especially by Saini Maity, but the property is infested with mosquitoes in the common alleyways and the open restaurants. No attempt to reduce the menace is being done. The least that the staff can do is burn some coils to keep the mosquitoes at bay..also the property needs some maintenance as the change rooms in the pool area were found wanting with no lights and broken fittings and foul smell.

Great place. 5 min from RK beach. It has beach access and a restaurant named The Shack. Beautiful place. The bathroom has a glass partition with an embossed finish. It's practically invisible but you can see a shadow of what people are doing inside and some Indians might be uncomfortable with that.

The Rooms were spacious and spotless with great ambiance. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much troubled... Mainly I appreciate Mr.Ramesh in house keeping 👏👏

Navi Day 🇮🇳 we had a wonderful and memorable time here, excellent food and superb service, the sea view is stunning, special thanks for taking care and playing with my children. Amazing experience and would love to come here again and again.

Stayed here on vacation for two nights. Pros: Great hospitality, prompt room service, good food and breakfast buffet, good clean swimming pool with a shallow pool for small kids, fantastic housekeeping, awesome view of the sea from the room, very good location. Cons: Wish the private beach was cleaned by the hotel. It was very dirty and strewn with plastic bottles. Didn't feel like going close to the beach at all. Some wooden sections and panelling in the rooms and corridors definitely need more upkeep and ruins the look of the place.

It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming . The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing .They had served delicious dishes with. Good hotel with sea facing view. Rooms are getting old with cracked inner walls and dirty outer view of the outer structure of the hotel. Room service was delayed. 2 cups of tea took more than 35-40 mins to be delayed. Service and rooms can be vastly improved as per the cost being charged.

Service given by Ms Sayani is well aapreciated. Very Energetic and sincere in her duties. Throughout the time she is cheerful. Too much work load observed on her. Management should take care of this aspect.

I have been to many hotels across the country. I would rate The Park, Vizag is the best in India. Because of its natural beach view and good walking track and open rooftop restaurant in the night across the seashore. Food is too good here. I personally take time to appreciate a cute girl named Lakshmi in the front office, she welcomes people very heartily and it’s good to see such customer oriented staff and also my special appreciation for GM sir (Mr.Biswas). He is a thorough gentlemen and treats his staff & customers with utmost respect. My overall experience in park hotel would be 10/10.

The only good thing about it is the private access to the beach. The staff are very irresponsible, and the room service takes forever and it is super expensive. The food is not worth the money you pay.

We went for a family dinner at the shack. Though the ambience is good, we had bad experience with the quality of food.. also the basic eminities like wash rooms are not maintained in hygienic manner... not happy with the maintenance of such a beautiful and iconic hotel...

This hotel is fooling people by taking opportunity of their location. The room provided to us was in very bad condition. Both toilet and bathtub is dirty with yellow rust. We were told that the room will be chnaged but till the last date it wasnt and they took money for the superior room. Please dont go by its old reputation and beach location. The standard has completely degraded and with covid situation it is more risky to go to such hotels whi dont maintain basic sanitation

Ambiance is very good but the service in The shack restaurant is not good. Delivery time is very long. Not recommended for the people who are allergic to smoking. They are allowing the smoking though they have mentioned Smoking is not allowed inside the shack restaurant.

Sharing my hotel stay experience in three broader aspects: we paid Rs.16000 plus for two nights (breakfast included). The reason for mentioning the amount is to evaluate the service with the money we paid. Room quality – Rooms are not at all worth for the premium they are charging. At the time of check in they gave a dirty room which was not cleaned properly with dirty window cottons and broken flooring. After discussing with the front desk officer, they showed another two rooms which had the same problem (dirty floors, furniture, and window cottons). After a discussion with manager, finally we got a room which was far better from the 1st room but not up to mark. By the time we got the room, it was evening and we almost exhausted our energy and a day from our trip schedule. Hotel Cleanliness – They don’t bother about the cleanliness. This can be clearly observed from the entry and exit doors. Near to the swimming pool, they kept sofa kind of things to seat, which was so dirty that, clearly visible from long distance. They don’t check the temperature of any visitors. So if any one has any illness can be clearly escaped. Foot – We had breakfast there. They charged Rs.600 plus for buffet breakfast per person. But I can bet that, this is not at all worth for Rs.600. The reason for giving 1 star is to provide a reasonable stay after changing three rooms, beach view from the window was good. P.S. – We had our lunch and dinner at Daspalla hotel which was superb.

Tooo much tax added to what ever you order But when you go with your frnds.. Its a nice place to take hell lot of photos The people there are rude While taking pics they asked to pay 7000 extra cuz we are using a camera to take pictures seriously!!? Rooms should greatly be improved. Bathrooms are not at all clean. Kindly take care of it. This is the only drawback in this resort. Hotel team were very kind and courteous but the whole property needs to be maintained lot much better. Keeping a 52yrs old property is not a big deal.. maintaining it is very necessary! Kindly add some freshness to the entire property to live up to the Title of 5 star.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the beach side,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staffs making our trip more interesting with their advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Except the location like at the city center and the old prime beach access the is nothing i would be recommending for the hotel. Hotel is screaming for renovation. It is a classical oils property, probably well respected in between the old city locals. Service is pathetic and there is nobody who would care at all at the hotel, be it the front desk, the restaurant or the housekeeping. Repetitive requests for towels, water, plates etc remain unanswered. The food and drinks are extremely expensive as compared to other good places in the city. Really disappointed. Only good service was received at their Bay restaurant which is at the beach side. And the lady at the main restaurant with Ramanathan the table attendant. Not recommended for tourists.

Had a wonderful stay at The Park Vishakhaptnam. The sea view from our luxury room on the forth floor was truly mesmerizing. The room is pleasantly decorated and so comfortable. The hotel grounds and ruins of a pretty lighthouse added to the view. Special thanks to Mr Nathaniel for making sure we have a memorable time. There is a restaurant by the sea that is operational in the evening and served good food. Staff was warm and helpful.

Ambience was good. Restaurant staff were too busy with their phones, they seemed unhappy seeing us walk in to the restaurant. They promptly provided us with a QR code to scan for menu and gave us a water bottle which was nice. After we spent 15 mins to decide on menu, they told us that half of the items we wanted are not available. What a bummer!

Stayed at The Park, Vizag for 3 night with my family. Had a very bad experience. From checking in, the front desk staff was rude and acting oversmart. We complained multiple times for AC cooling issues but the issue was not resolved. The bed sheets were stained red, and despite our complain it wasn’t changed, so we ultimately had to use our own bed sheets. The front desk staff gave a sly reply/comment on my sister’s profession (She is a doctor) and called my other sister “a maid.” Food delivery was very very late (1-1.5 hours for preparing simple veg meal). 1 star only for the breakfast service which was good, for the original architecture (which is now old), and the location of the property. Please take action regarding your front desk staff.

Nice room with beautiful sea view and nice hospitality, food is delicious (Though expensive), good service by staffs. It is nice place to visit and spend time. Food is good and menu offers good range and variety. Ambiance is too good, loved to spend time there. I stayed here for three nights and no doubt it was wonderful stay here. The Park Visakhapatnam is an urban beach resort overlooking the Bay of Bengal. The surrounding scenic beauty is a treat to the senses and creates a very tranquil atmosphere ideal for unwinding after a hard day’s work. The resort has a private beach area and beautifully manicured gardens with tiled pavilions. One may be forgiven to think that this resort is primarily for the leisure tourist however this is not the case, in fact quite the opposite - majority of the hotel’s guests come on work-related activities. The hotel is conveniently located and offers swift access to the city’s local railway and airport facilities (15 and 30 mins away respectively by car). The dining experience that you get here offers an unparalleled experience enhanced by the backdrop of orange sunsets and the glittering calmness of the sea. Bamboo Bay in its refurbished avatar reflects the rich ethnic heritage of East Indian tribal culture in a uniquely chic way.

I was with family on vacation staying at The Park. Location is excellent, food is amazing. Downside, property seems to have been neglected during covid and needs a lot of attention with its decaying deck chairs and poolside beds and shacks, beach is easily accessible but it's full of rocks and swimming is prohibited due to the rocks which the Hotel staff didn't notify. We stayed there for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are moderately old, post some renovations the hotel is marked as a 5 star although the building doesn't feel like one. The location is the best part the park offers a private beach. The food is way too expensive! The taste is pretty good but extremely heavy on the pocket.

It was convenient to get out and dip in the ocean and then go to the pool to relax. As you’d expect the rooms were nice and clean. Staff was cordial. Another significant aspect that I liked as a visitor was its proximity to RK beach and going on stroll around the beach was fun and easy. If I visit Vizag again, I’d want to stay here again.

This is a 5star hotel, but their services were 3 star hotel services. Very old hotel. I booked this hotel due to its strategic location to sea and their beautiful lounge. The receptionist need to have some patience particularly Mr. THOMAS. The hospitality service of the staff were poor when compared to other 5 start hotels.

The hotel room was a bit disappointing, but the view made up for that. We thought all the rooms had a bathtub, but the luxury premium room that we booked did not. The staff is amazing, very helpful and courteous. We ate breakfast and lunch at the Vista and dinner at the Shack. Both places had the same menu, we only had starters, but all of them were delicious beyond expectation. The breakfast spread was missing a cheese section and a wider variety of breads is needed. Also, their sausages and bacon were not so good. Other than that, the breakfast was really nice. They have access to the the beach, it's not a private beach though, it is open on either side. And the hotel shuts the beach gate at 6pm, so you can't go to the beach at night. They allow smoking outdoors within the hotel premises, but ashtrays and dustbins are needed. The pool is a good leisure pool, it's not deep, but you can have a good swim. The Aura Spa has Excellent service, however, the sauna and herbal bath, were not available. We took a massage followed by an outdoor shower.

I was searching for (-) axis for the stars. Terrible maintenance of the property. The star rating says 5-star but what it deserves is a shut down OR for ease copy the star rating I gave on this review. This is a classic example of what COVID did to real estate which were taken care by tourists money alone. A completely dejected property with exceptions on food and a few rooms. Overall facility needs a reboot from changing upholstery to painting and tearing down stuff that doesn’t make sense. Lived here for 2 days and 1 night and realised that the access to the beach also looks like a dilapidated one. Have seen better access with comparable properties around the southern part of India. There is no compromise that can be made on facilities which demand a high price. Being a tier II city this property is excessively neglected OR may be they are waiting for it to become worse?! I will refresh the rating every month based on reviews posted by consumers online. Expecting someone to listen and take necessary actions.

Proximity to the beach is the only good thing about this place. Certainly not a five star property, three star at best. My family checked in today and all I am hearing is complaints about service and cleanliness. So the lesson for me is that next stay I will pay slightly more and stay at a better place/better managed place.

Excellent Customer service. The whole staff deserve 5 stars. They were all very kind and nice to us. I had foot fracture and they took care of me so well throughout my stay. They provided me wheelchair and helped during breakfast. I asked for late check-out coz my flight was late, and I couldn't walk, they absolutely helped with that too. Very nice people. The room dining food was very delicious. I highly recommend the Park hotel to all. Very nice people. Thank you so much guys.

I have known this Hotel since a long time and I am well aware of the class of service that they offer. I have had a banquet recently and I was taken aback by the kind of professionalism that this entire team has shown, I have not had a single guest who has not complimented on the venue and the service provided by the Park. The entire team that was assigned to me for my event had left no stone unturned to make sure that the entire event is a great success. The rooms here are clean and tidy the staff is extremely professional. The location is amazing as it is at the beach road. I have had amazing experience every time that I visit this place. Special mention to the GM of the Park Joy Deep who has a wonderful team and his personal attention to details. Great Place and a wonderful experience. Must Visit.
