Good place for lunch,juices n tiffins... Well maintained

Heard raving reviews about the place and decided to try, was so-so and not worth the hype. The only thing I felt was ok was the sponge onion uttapam, but that also the chutney tasted very average and not that palatable. Not a must visit, but if you are in the vicinity you can give it a try.

Another highly in demand restaurant in Visakhapatna is Venkatadri Vantillu. The eatery is known for south Indian servings mainly and has never disappointed its customers. People only have to say good and positive things about this lovely little place. The ambiance though is not that great as it is a budget establishment known for ttiffin servings. In just 200 bucks you can fill your stomach with a range of delicious delicacies including the sponge dosa and ghee karam dosa, which are absolutely famous here. Too wasteful price is very high and less quantity and quality 2 idly cost is 50,. And a very small size chetney also not much tasty.,. Roadside tiffen is much taster than this,. They are taking high cost even not servicing also..self service also waste

The taste is good, but prices are a bit high still worth it, 2chutneys(palli chutney is to be asked) and sambar, poori is just ok, ghee karam dosa is good, butter masala dosa, they just kept curry , (didn't spread potato curry) inside the butter dosa and gave, vada is nice...

I always love the Tiffins and they are too good. but the mini meals I too bad

I was returning from Bheemili beach and decided to stop here for breakfast. The menu isn't lavish but has a variety including meals, bhajjis and more. Most items on the menu are priced under Rs 100 and hence Vnekatadri Vantillu is a pocket-friendly place. My order consisted of Idli Sambhar, Upma, Masala Dosa and their famous Ghee Karam Sponge Dosa. The total bill was less than 300 for 3 people which is extremely cheap. Once inside, the setup is extremely basic. Run mostly by women, the place is well maintained. About 10-12 tables and that's it. The kitchen is open, so you can get a view of what's happening inside. Starting with the Upma - it was good. Perfect consistency, the way I like it. In Hyderabad, the upma is more watery but this was perfect. Masala dosa was quite different from what we have here in Hyderabad. The karam chutney was missing - in Hyderabad, you'll find this red paste on every Masala dosa that you order. It was crisp, yet soft, reminded me somewhat of the dose from Bengaluru. Coming to the icon sponge dosa, it was a unique take on the set dosa. Two pieces of fluffy and airy set dosa sprinkled with karam podi (spiced powder) and topped with a generous amount of ghee. The podi wasn't spicy, rather it was flavourful. The mixture of podi with ghee elevated the taste. It's quite a unique preparation and having it for the first time, I'll surely recommend you to try it when you are in Vizag. Loved the taste here. Specially sponge dosa was very soft and tasty. Every dish we ordered was just fantastic. We ordered orange, pineapple and mixed fruit juices as well but they didn't meet our expectations. It was bit crowded at the time we visited, also the place not very hygienic and clean but the food is overall very good. Must try.

Just a ordinary tiffin place . Nothing great. Chutneys and sambar tastes average. Idlly just okay , bajji it’s not great. Poori good 4/5. Best here pesarattu. It’s really l taste good. No all purpose flour added.Its tasted real flavour of pesarattu.

Cheap and delicious!!! If anyone wants to try out Andhra food, then definitely give it a try. Really liked their sponge dosa. Idlis are also quite delicious and big in size. One can have proper filling meal in a budget. Since its an old eatery joint in a prime location, one will never see it's empty. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner there and all served fresh hot! So feel free to get fresh items on whatever you order.

I visited this place from Delhi specially to have their sweet pongal and honestly it was worth. Very tasty and has this amazing taste of jaggery. I tried their masala dosa and cheese cutlets also. They were also decent in taste.

Amazing place, will say most satisfying Breakfast in Vaizag. It's managed by the majority of elderly women staff with utmost hygiene. Price wise also affordable. Liked the Vibe and Staff 😊

The Sponge Dosa for which it became famous for is up to its reputation & Chana Bathura also tasted good - though initialoy channa appeared less in quantity compared to Bathura, it was sufficient & anyway, if needed, channa ll be served as per need

Parotha price is costly ₹55/-, it's not worth to pay ₹55/- which is not high ticketing value, Even Starbucks takes Rs. 500/- for coffee, but it's having high sales waiter. Restaurant is good but price is not worth for it's ambience

One of the best places to have breakfast. All breakfast items are good here. My favorites among the dishes I have tried are Rava onion dosa, Sponge dosa and ghee podi karam dosa. Awesome eating experience. Sponge Ghee Karam dosa is so tasty... Homely food, lot of varieties can't help to choose one. Serving is good. But the customers rush is huge, so there is chance to wait long. Dining inn and take away is available.

We had neyyi podi dosa and upma pesarattu. Both tasted sooperb really. I haven't tasted nutty and crispy pesarattu never. Loads of ghee went on it. Chutneys are good too. Watermelon juice is damn sweet.. thrown half a glass of juice with over sweetness. Overall it's a good try.

This is my second visit, At my first I was really spell bounded by taste. But this time I'm totally disappointed. Wasted nearly 600 on this, where as a tiffen at small eatery can be more satisfying. My friends made fun of me for suggesting this place. This place lost its charm. Now it just runs on its nameplate.

Food is always good here. Fresh made. But why hide your peanut chutney? I always have to ask them personally to give me the peanut chutney. Previously each table used to have a bow of peanut chutney. I always recommend my friends and relatives for the chutneys made here. And most of the customers here come for the same chutney.Some of them are shy to ask for it. So why not place a bowl of peanut chutney on each table? Or atleast put it at a place where everyone can see.

Worst experience! Today evening we had dinner with a bill amount of Rs 515, which includes 4 sponge dosas and 2 ghee Karam sponge dosa, out of which 2 plain sponge dosa and 1 ghee Karam sponge dosa are parcel, The cash counter guy made an adjustment and given us our order by writing at backside of the slip, I informed the same at the delivery but the management elderly lady at delivery is unable to understand and kept delaying for more than 30 minutes, inspite of asking multiple times, when I informed her to see with presence of mind, she just threw the paper on our face and asked us to move out, Very rude behaviour by that elderly lady, Immediately the rest of the staff came into action and resolve the matter, Totally unacceptable and Atrocious behaviour by that indecent women, Totally spoiled our evening, Never ever going to visit Ventadri vanta illu again, Haven't faced such situation earlier being a regular customer for more than decade, Rest of the staff are generous and friendly, Coming to food quality just an ordinary food, Nothing extra ordinary.

The hotel is very nearer to Siripuram junction. We can get the food max in 5 to 10 min at week ends also. Recently I went along with family on a Saturday evening. Both Dine in/ take away options available. Price range is not resonable but on moderate range. Plate idly if two small nos will cost u 40/- for take away 5/- extra. For 3 ppl we spent 360/- for tiffin. Sponge dosa is very popular here.

Sort of local go to place. Take aways and parcel available. Online order through app possible. We had sponge Dosa. That was really good and tasty.

Had mini meals which are served on afternoon. It has yummiest sambar rice, delicious tomato rice, delicious carrot curry. They also offered curd rice which I swapped with extra sambar rice. Ambience is not pleasant but it’s quite hygienic. One morning had paper masala dosa which was good too, especially sambar.

One of the many things that leaves a mark on a customer other than food is the service. We arrived quite late in the night and were probably the last but were received warmly and our food was served promptly. Idlis were soft and the dosa was tasty! The servers then helped us to get an auto(since we were new to the city) and even bid us goodbye which was really sweet! :) Food tastes good when it's made with love - i could definitely attest to that with this quaint place. I would recommend!

It used to be one of the most popular tiffins restaurant in vizag city. The sponge dosa are the most famous here but not the quality is not as it used to be.

Must try their sponge dosas. Ghee karam sponge dosa and butter sponge dosa were amazing!! Their tea and coffee were good too!!
