This seems to be a local favorite restaurant. We went in for lunch and there was no one other than us, but within the next 15 minutes the restaurant was full. People were enjoying their food. We ordered soup chicken tandoori mutton biryani food and all were just great, starting from the soup and starters, the main course and the lassi all were just great. The staff is courteous, ambience is very basic. Costs Rupees 1100 for 3 people.

We heard that the naans and punjabi stuff was good here. We went for lunch ,it was busy and crowdy. Food was good.. Ambience was of dark themed. Staff ,service was decent. We had butter phulka , butter naan and paneer butter masala. All tasted good. Prices were also decent. Overall a good restro for punjabi food.

Located near Asilmetta junction, this restaurant is popular for their north indian cuisine dishes. The restaurant attracts dine-in customers as well as online orders also. Ambience is just decent. But don’t judge the food quality by the look of the restaurant. Staffs are courteous and helpful. Had masala papad, buttermilk, chicken butter masala and butter naan. Earlier I had chicken biryani, chicken kaali mirch and chicken do piyaza from the same restaurant online. All dishes tested very good and amount is quite generous. Overall verdict- definitely recommended.

As food is good I am taking food for my family from few days, but today my order was delayed by 25 minutes. Done several follow up, not reacted. Need to improve on commitment or they can say we can't deliver. So that can go other option, instead of wasting time. Good covering, its not online. I came personally and given order.

I thought that the biryani wont be that good but it is awesome.The butter naan is also so good and methi chaman is absolutely fantastic.The prices are not so costly .A very good place with good staff.

The simple vegetarian meal served could be a paratha of many kinds depending on the type of vegetable stuffing one wishes to have – the aloo parathas is the most popular. Parathas stuffed with cooked, mashed and spiced vegetables such as cauliflower are popular for breakfast with curds or tea. Vegetarian meal – for lunch or dinner – consists of chana masala, pindi chana, vegetables and lentils, sarson ka saag, palak paneer, bharwan karela, subz korma, rajma or kadhi. Paneer dishes are a must in a vegetarian menu. It is cooked with every kind of vegetable, the popular dishes of such variety are palak paneer or saag paneer, mutter paneer, paneer makhani etc.

So we ordered 3 dishes gobi masla, dal tadka and chicken do pyaaza and all of the above tasted good. The best part was the tawa roti, usually at restaurants either they dont provide wheat roti or its maida mix, here it was genuine roti . The service was quick. The only thing I felt was the salt could be a little lesser as people can add on if they need but for those who eat less salt they can’t do anything about it. And yes please maintain the restroom clean. I mean as a female i was a bit disappointed with that.

Pathetic place to visit. I am not able to figure out how come this place has 4 star rating. left the outlet just by having starters. Highly disappointed 😤😤

Food was very tasty .I prefer more to this restaurant.specially lollipop briyani was my fav❤️ and I tasted on that day naans and kadai panner curry ..taste was yummy.

I have visited here two times in one month. Worst experience. I am vegetarian and every time I was suffered with food poisoning and fever. I can't try this again. I informed the manager (one sardar) also there about the quality but no outcome. I simply paid the bill, left almost all food on table and left from there for some other restaurant.

Food is just amazing, coming here for last 7 years. The worst part is waiters standing on your head all the time. I understand they want to give excellent service but then it snatches your privacy and becomes irritating. Rest, the best place for food.

Personal experience for this place is so amazing , I like the food and the behaviour of the owner very much , the amicable behaviour was so pleasant and further i recommend everyone to visit once to have a feel of homemade food and for the best non veg food experience. The hygiene and facilities were also very nice .

Food is quite good. Real North Indian taste one can find. I have tried Parathas, paneer, dal makhani and Lassi. Service i have deducted one point because they messed up with my order twice. I specifically ordered Tawa Aloo Paratha and they got me Tandoori Aloo paratha which are entirely 2 different things - one made of wheat while other made of Maida. Ambience is okay.

All good except you have to remind if u want spicy or less spicy food. Else as per the location u will have spicy food delivered to you. Good for Odia people as one of the waiter understands Odia language. The lady waiter is also very cooperative.

Next the quality and ambience is also very nice. Hope they could give discount for direct orders, sometimes I get more discount for online orders. It's a very old specialised Punjabi hotel run by a Punjabi in the heart of Vizag City. It serves tasty Punjabi, Indian, Chinese and Tandoori items both Veg & Non Veg items. Prices are very reasonable, must for people wanting authentic Punjabi food.

One of the best north indian restaurants in Vizag hands down. Been here many times and the food never disappoints. The service could be better but not many complaints. On weekends, sometimes you'll have to wait for a table. Parking is problem here. And yeah it's not a dhaba 😂

Food is really tasty.. We had Thandoori Chicken and Chilli Prawn.. They are really delicious and the quantity is also good. Vegetarian food is also really tasty. Mushroom Kajhu Curry is also taste good.

I've been going to this dhaba since 2011 and lately the service got so bad I've seen people literally frustrated and scolding and walking away. If we go for a dine in you have to call for someone to come and take the order and then they throw water bottle on your face and they will do their work. Order takes 20+ mins to arrive and they take 10 mins to serve. And hygiene is so pathetic they don't even clean the tables properly. Probably I won't be stepping into this dhaba ever again. Pathetic, worst and horrible service ever.

I came here for authentic Punjabi dishes, Which I got here, I have tried Dal tadka,Roti, Paneer dishes,which all are mouth watering. Family resturant,also for bachelors.. Price is also not so much High or not cheaper.. But if you are spending money then the food you get are worthful.

I saw an hair in soup, first bad impression, food menu is punjabi or any authentic delicacy, items were prepared like helper chefs. Gravy of veg items was good. Restaurant name is punjabi dhaba means a local restaurant, not a real dhaba.
