Must visit for Families, Couples, Friends, Children & especially for elderly people. Huge area covering plenty of trees 🎄 & greenery everywhere. Nice weather & peace of mind. Best place to relax and get stress free. Better to visit in the evening time for a pleasant atmosphere 👍

Padmapuram Gardens is botanical garden which is located at 2.5 km away from Araku Bus station and best attraction in Araku Valley. Padmapuram Gardens is one of the prominent places to visit in Araku Valley. It was built in 1942 for growing and supplying vegetables to World War II soldiers. Later it was converted into a Horticultural Nursery cum training center. The 26-acre nursery comprises orchards, a colorful riot of flowers, a fabulous rose garden, exotic plants, trees like eucalyptus, pine, etc. The striking feature of the Padmapuram Botanical Gardens is the tree-top huts. Also known as hanging cottages, they are 10 ft above the ground level and have attached toilets and continuous water supply. Visitors can stay & experience the thrill of swaying in the air when a heavy wind blows across. This Garden also features a toy train by name Araku Express. Araku Express takes adults (Rs. 20) and children (Rs. 10) on the tour of the whole botanical garden The Padmapuram Gardens is known to be a favourite spot among many tourists who visit Araku Valley. Boasting variety of species of flora, the garden is home to an exquisite rose garden, treetop huts and a fun toy train for rides around it.

One of the top tourist attraction in aruku Visakhapatnam. It's a botanical garden built in 1942 on a 26 acer plot to supply vegetables to soldiers who fought in World War II. After the war it was converted to horticulture nursery. There is toy train in which you can cover the entire garden. Entry fee 50 for adults But i will recommend to cover it by walk as its not so big and you can enjoy the nature Nice cleaned and very beautiful garden with a lot of different species

Big park with toy train, beautiful trees, flower gardens, spacious lawn, children's playground, walkpath and snacks center. This place also has tourism resort, the tree castle. Time required 1 to 2 hours. 🛺 available from Araku railway station and bus stand. Taxi and private vehicle available at Araku that comes with extra cost.

We visited in January. The gardens looked faded and unkempt. For four of us, we spent Rs 480.00 (Rs 60 entry + Rs 60 for toy train). Nothing great to see here at this time of year. No roses at this time of the year and not much time. All in all a rather dull experience. Strike it off the Araku visit list.

Padmapuram Gardens is also called Botnical Gardens. Must visit in the morning hours and spend at least an hour or 1 and half an hour to see completely. It is well and cleanly maintained. Also, it's a good place for photoshoot. We can choose to walk around Gardens , or we can choose toy train to cover.

Beautiful garden to spend time with your closed ones. There's a train to take a tour inside the garden. Go visit this place if you love to have yourself in some greenery for some time.

I wish we had packed a picnic lunch for visiting this garden, since it's a great spot to just walk around and then sit under some trees with a picnic basket, have conversations, play board games/cards. Or for the readers - read a book. There's a toy-train which is fun for kids. Since we visited in Jan, the weather was fantastic. But if you plan to visit in summer months and make a picnic out of it, you should pack a huge umbrella/parasol.

Best place to spend a half day here in gardens. We can see various types of trees and plants. A toy train ride is available at some price. Food points are available inside and outside of the gardens. Madugula halwa is so tasty and worth it must try.

This botanical garden is not exciting cause you don't get to see any rare kinds of plants here. If you know garden plants and are into gardening, this botanical garden will probably look like a normal romantic park to you

It used to be good when I visited few years back. Now it is not well maintained, lot of plants and areas are neglected. Overall good experience but it should have been well maintained.

We visited the Padmapuram Botanical Gardens on 20-02-2022. Mostly general plants which are available in all parts n all terrains of AP State were seen. Rare and special plants are not there, experienced discouraged experience. Entry fee of ₹ 50/- per person is seems to be high for deriving hopeless experience. However, children park gives some entertainment
