One of the best and peaceful waterfall I ever visited. Try to visit the place in the afternoon so there will be less crowd. Also please go to the other end of the waterfall where excellent photos can be taken but a bit dangerous so be careful.

Trip to hill stations without waterfalls visit is incomplete.🏞️ This is the best waterfall located 30km from lambasingi. Best thing is you don't need to trek again. You can park your car and there see a beautiful waterfalls in 100metres. 🌊 Spent good time here.🤟

Waterfalls is very worthy to enjoy by all ages and it's more interesting as it was filled by rocks, small canal and greenary which makes the environment very beautiful to feel. Entrance tickets are high as they are not providing any High class facilities. Photo friendly environment. Pair of dress advisable to carry if anyone wants to dip in water from hill area. Atmosphere is attractive to play with water. Bunch of energy required. Parking facility is very far away. Outside of the waterfall and near to the entrance can find food items. This waterfall is quite opposite to walk downside instead of climbing up.

This place has changed a lot since my last visit. This place was renovated with safety bars and stairs for the safety of tourists. I could see blue T-shirt guys who are monitoring over the place making sure the tourists don’t go to the risky points near the water falls. But be advised this place is too slippery near the rocks. Play with precaution. I had a good time sitting near the waters and enjoy the natures water flow. Would love to visit this place again.

Definitely a place to visit the fall surprising very big and safe as well there is a bridge that let’s us walk across the waterfall. But always prefer the main nation high way route there is a road from Tajangi resovior that has pretty good views but the roads are real bad unless you have a bike or real suv don’t prefer this route.

Good place to visit. Steps to go down to see waterfalls. Clicking back the steps will take sometime. We sat as family and enjoyed in the waterfall. Great day and time. Probably weekday is better to see without crowd.

Kothapalli waterfalls is located 40 km away from lambasingi, in district of Visakhapatnam in Andhra pradesh state, India. All around the year, water is there in this waterfall. This waterfalls has safe bathing zones at diffeternt block level 1 to 5. Life saving guards are available to monitor people nd aave us. Some rocks are slippy and avoid climbing risky zones. One can visit this place with family, friends and as couple. Bring spare dresses to change after takjng bath. Enjoyjng taking bath here. One can spend as much time here and enjoy bathing. Best time to visit here and have bath is March- November. As the temperature will be zero to 10 in Nov-January, avoid taking bath during this season. Water will be very chill during winter. Stick chicken are sold outside the waterfall and one can taste it. It is like barbeque chicken.! We enjoyed the trip to this waterfalls with family and friends. Some accommodation is available here. Tea and snacks shops are there. Cold drinks are available.

Nice place to visit. Many of them enjoying the waterfall. Near to Vanajagi Hills. We visited on Saturday (weekend) lot of people are there. We took some good pictures. Entry fee 60Rs per head and parking fee Rs50. You can bath here , many of them well planned and carried the clothes as well. Little risk also but Ppl from tourism giving warning to the ppl who will go beyond limits. Overall it’s good. Lot of space for parking. Chicken snacks also available. 100 to 120 steps needs to climb from bottom to top of the waterfall

Kothapally Waterfalls, situated near Gangaraju Madugula in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, offers a serene escape on the southeastern coast of India. Located approximately 120 kms from Vizag, the journey takes 3-4 hours, but the recent development by APTDC ensures a comfortable experience. With dedicated parking spaces for cars and well-maintained steps leading to the bottom, accessibility is smooth. The tranquility of the surroundings and the natural beauty captivate visitors, making it an enjoyable retreat away from the hustle and bustle. During our visit, the peaceful ambiance and lack of crowds added to the overall appeal of Kothapally Waterfalls.

A good falls if water availability is more. Maintenance is very good. Good view points are there. On water bridge at the end was the main attraction. Can hear pleasant sound of water falls. Good place to hang out for nature lovers. Not good for old and pregnant ladies as the steps are too steep.

The Kothapally waterfalls are situated approximately 120 kilometers away from Vizag. It took us around 3-4 hours to reach this enchanting place. Recently, APTDC has developed the area, providing a designated parking space for cars and steps that lead directly to the bottom of the falls. Surprisingly, there weren't many tourists around, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings. We had an incredibly enjoyable time!

Beautiful waterfalls surrounded by Greenery. The rainy season is the best time to visit. You have to go down through steps to experience the waterfalls. The most important thing is dont visit on public holidays.

  • 3/5 Ayesha J. 2 years ago on Google
It's a popular destination. Easy to reach, they've made stairs with railings. The waterfall itself if less impressive than expected. There's shops selling snacks and coffee.

  • 4/5 Sparjan K. 2 years ago on Google
Worth the trip, locals handle the entry with nominal ticket of Rs10 per person. Multi layered water falls that appears small in the beginning but turns decent and gushing by the 4th level. Be careful if you venture into waters!

A good secluded place which may get crowded during weekends. It costs Rs. 60 per person as of 15 August 2023. We have to climb down to access the waterfall, but the stairs are well laid. The water is cool and one can enjoy the calmness of this place. Safe to bath. The toilet was not good. For refreshments, there are many stores serving chicken tikka outside. Vegetarians might find it a bit of a task to find food. Snacks are sold above MRP, which is understandable due to the isolated location. Also, there are no fuel stations in the vicinity, so plan accordingly.

Kothapalli Waterfalls is a hidden gem, nestled in nature's embrace. The journey to this serene spot is as enchanting as the falls themselves. Surrounded by lush greenery, the cascading waters create a soothing melody. The falls provide a refreshing escape, inviting you to unwind in the lap of nature. Be prepared for a mesmerizing experience, capturing the essence of untouched beauty. Kothapalli Waterfalls is a must-visit for those seeking solace and a connection with the pristine allure of the outdoors.

A beautiful waterfall near Paderu and Lambasingi. One can reach there from Araku also. The waterfall is well accessible via bridges and steps, but it is not accessible by a wheelchair. The waterfall comes down through multiple steps and it is a treat to your eyes. While travelling to this place from Araku or Lambasingi, you must carry some food items as you won't find many eateries en route. However there is a coffeeshop near the waterfall.

It was 35 KM from Lambsinghi which will approximately takes 45 to these water falls, Roads were good you can go by car. Entry ticket is charged at 50 per head. Only pain point is need climb atleast 100 steps , so it not recommended for elders especially who knee pains and even grandparent as it will be difficult to go up and down climbing these stairs. Will recommend for sure if you are near by to Lambsinghi. November and December are peak plan your travel accordingly

Superb waterfalls. When I visited the water flow was less. It should be visited during the rainy season. The water is not clean for bathing. Chicken BBQ is tasty. There are no other restaurants. So better carry some food while traveling. Also no toilets available.
