It's happened like I was there on Tuesday I could not found many animals except deers. I don't why I couldn't find a bird shoot with my camera. But I have to tell you, it's like a forest adjacent to city like Visakhapatnam. Wonderful greenery and beautiful scenery prevailing there. If you are fit you can go for trekking by paying little amount. I feel it's a fantastic place to shoot movies but I came to know they are banned not only disturbance to the nature but to keep the environment clean. I had few photos so that you will have an idea what kind of forest like environment prevailing there.

It's a nice get away from city hussle. Nice place in the center of city. It's a wildlife sanctuary, we often visit for birding. Lot of migratory birds visit this place. It also has few tracks through which one can enjoy the pure nature and take some rest. Often trekking is conducted by different groups on Sundays. It's a nice place for trekkers. It does have some recreational facilities and adventurous things for kids. People often throng this place during winter. There are two water bodies where lot of birding activity takes place. It is very well connected to the city. If one needs to connect with nature this that place. One can find lot of biodiversity here.

This wild life sanctuary ( not that wild ) is located by the side of National Highway 5 just outside the Visakhapatnam city on the way towards Vijaynagaram Srikakulam. In front of this park at the other side of National Highway the Indira Gandhi Zoological park or popularly known as Vizag Zoo is located. The Kambalakonda Eco Tourism Park is located at in an area of 71 sq KM out of which 0.8 sq KM of sanctuary are is marked for community based eco-tourism project. The entry fee is Rs 10 for adults and Rs 5 for kids. Vehicles can be taken inside the park against a fee of Rs 200 which includes entry fee for 5 members. Inside the Park cottages are available for Rs 250/- . Canteen is available inside the park. The park opens at 9 AM and closes at 4.30 PM. While going round the park you will be greeted by spotted deer roaming inside the park. There is a small water storage system where rain water is stored and boating facility is available in this small lake. There are different trekking routs available inside Kambalkonda park. There is a fee of Rs 150 for a group of 10 members for trekking. One guide will accompany the group. The trekking starts early morning around 6 AM and it takes 3 hours to return. One day before information is to be given at reception to make the arrangement for local guide. In winter many visitors from Vizag and nearby areas come to this place for a Jungle walk and spending time inside forest area.

Beautiful & natural lush green environment to visit after it rains in vizag , though very near to the city after you walk inside there is no noise of the highway's traffic. Tickets rates are though increased.

Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most Greatest, Important and Underrated Sanctuary from Andhra Pradesh. The People who were Visited the place can explain the Scenic Beauties of this Area, it's Epicness, it's Cleanliness, Calm and Peaceful Environment. We've been under the Shower of Nature for a full day with breezy Winds turning around ourselves and Spotted Deers playing. We've visited Kambalakonda on 26/09/2022 - Monday. The Entrance Ticket is 30/- per person and Bikes will not be allowed. We've to go by Walk. In the Sanctuary, there are many many Adventure Activities, Nature Trekking Spots to hang on. Burma Bridge, Tyre Way, Nature Rain, Boating are some of the highlights of this Eco Park. There's also a Well Equipped Cafe inside the Park also. One of the best places in Visakhapatnam to immerse in the nature and enjoy beauty of forests of Eastern Ghats. Eco park with treks are excellent . The upcoming area of Biodiversity centre near the Cricket stadium is the highlight of the place. A must visit place.

Beautiful place for picnic with family and friends, there are some awesome activities but all are chargeable. If you carry your football and racket or another's indoor types gaming equipment, it will be better. Boating 🚢 🚣‍♀️ and Zipline are amazing experience.

Amazing place to hang out in nature. Boating, Kayaking, Adventure sports, and nature trails available for the tourists. Entry fees is very nominal and the place offers a huge landscape of forest immersed with wildlife right in the middle of the city. This place acts as the lungs of the city of Vizag.

This is a beautiful place where we can find many animals like deers tortoise etc . during the weekend it might be rush but normal time there will be no rush and during winter season and rainy seasons are the suggested times, remaining days it will be dry especially in summer not recommended to visit here not much animals but very few we can see. This is 30 km from the main city of Vizag you can visit for day outing along with kids and rainy seasons mud will be there winter season you can enjoy the nature there is a boating inside of the forest and Jeep riding also is there you can enjoy the nature by seeing animals.

Hi such a beautiful and serene place with scenic views and hills. Good place for family picnic. One can explore lots of adventure sports, they charge on hourly bases.Very good place for trekking. There is one canteen inside but food quality is very poor better carry home cooked food and water. We can see mostly college students coming over there management should come up with new plans to attract families.

A lot to develop. Both the central & State governments named the area as a wild life century n keep quite.existing Animal life is natural one.peafowels, jungle fowels ,mouse deers, can be interduced by the forest dept. Day or night safaari can be interduced after completing 4 to 6 km road formation between the hills within the sanctuary area.we can enjoy the wild life.Thousands of spoted deers,n sambar deers we can see in the santury.myself wrote an article with photos in a paper in 2008.
