Good beach and can enjoy well during early morning and evening hours. Nice breeze. Completely restaurants opposite to beach and nearby as well. Very near to core city. The length of beach is nearly 2 or 3 kilometers. A drive in this road is so good. We have buses and auto to commute here.

A serene beach in the hearts of Vizag with beautiful sunset views. However, it gets really crowded. We tried the famous puffed rice mixture and bajji mixture from a nearby stall and had it on the shore with sea view. It was such a nostalgic experience. The aircraft museum is just across the road and submarine museum is a two-minute walk from here.

It is located very close to Visakhapatnam station. The view of this beach is amazing, but this beach is not suitable for bathing. You will find many hotels to stay in front of this beach. Various local food and sea food is available here at a very low price. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful view at this beach. I have attached some pictures below.

A very much hyped location. The sunrises are no doubt very beautiful and the fishing boats setting out to sea are also a splendid sight. But for a place that receives hundreds of visitors daily and thousands on weekends, it is not very clean. The administration manfully tries to keep the place clean, but the tourists are totally to blame for the mess

Well, any beach is no less than a 5-star for me, but let's be rational. Certainly not one of the best beaches but the USP is ease of accessibility. The beach is not very long but enough to feel the waves. There aren't many joints around (forget shacks) to sit and enjoy with family, neither there's anything for romantic walk along the shores. It's just along the road, so may not be the best place if you want to spend some time alone gazing the waves. Moreover, length is not much and it means always a bit crowdy. Also the beach is not the cleanest. If you're nearby somewhere and want to enjoy the beach then go for it, however, won't recommend visiting vizag for beaches only. There are better options.

This is one among the best beaches in India. You would witness a mixture of both rock and sand in this beach. If at all the beach / water is calm (and not much waves), then the best place to enjoy the beauty is to sit in one of the rocks looking at the water and sea. If you are in this place, you should not miss the sunrise. Whenever I am at Vizag, I make it a point to walk to this beach to witness the beautiful sunrise and colour changes it brings in. There is a walking path along the beach that you can use, if you don't want to get into the sand / water. But I love walking in the sand. If you are a photographer, then this is one best place to improvise your skills. Definitely the public needs to be more sensitive about this natural beauty and ensure they protect this. (They throw garbage on the beach sand / water - especially the packages or the bottles and make it a dumping yard)

RK beach or RamaKrishna beach is one of the most hyped tourist attractions of Visakhapatnam. The beach has got a stretch of around 3.7 kms. The place is full of activities and life. This beach attracts a lot of crowds everyday because of the strategic location as well as positioning of amazing museums, famous eateries, lip smacking street foods, well maintained parks and high end hotels along the stretch. This may be termed as marine drive of Vizag. But the area needs regular maintenance as cleanliness is an issue. Otherwise definitely recommended.

The famous R.K. beach, you can come here to enjoy the sunrise but please watch the weather out else you ll miss it among the clouds. But the morning scenes are fantastic. Roads beside the beach are all well.maintained, people do enjoy their morning walks here. Coconut trees are a special attraction. There are beach chairs as well. It's sort of crowded in the evening.

Visakhapatnam is known as the beach city of Andhra Pradesh with its alluring beaches attracting hordes of visitors every day. One of the most popular beaches of Vizag is Ramakrishna beach, more commonly known as RK beach bustling with young and old people alike. RK Beach gets its name from the Ramakrishna Mission ashram situated near the beach. With its serene waters and cool atmosphere, the beach offers a wonderful view of the countryside. The view of the sunset from this beach is truly mesmerizing and one can find a number of people enjoying some relaxed moments in this beautiful beach enjoying the perfect view. Ramakrishna Beach is popular not just among the tourists but the locals as well. In the evening time this beach gets crowded with people having a fun time on the sands. Swimming, sunbathing, surfing and playing beach volleyball are some of the popular activities that can be seen here. One can also enjoy a camel ride on the sands of the beach. There are a number of boats and ships operating on one side of the shore and one can go for a ride in the traditional fishing boat arranged by the fishers or can take a local cruise to enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset.

One of the best beach to visit in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, India. Here army tanks is also placed here for which the centre of attraction will be viewed. Taking a bath in RishiKonda Beach will make your disease free as suggested by many saints. The memories here in this place are unforgettable as because in this place happiness is achieved. Also it is one of the well known tourists place in India. Atleast in a life everyone must visit this place once. Maximum sea facing areas are connected to beautiful buildings which are well established.

Enchanting green, calm and pleasant environment by the sea to spend with family or friends. Winter is ideal to visit here. If you want to see hills and sea at the same time, you must go here. The blue water of the sea will mesmerize you. This place is a wonderful creation of nature. Bathing at this beach is prohibited because the beach is rocky, it can be dangerous when big waves come.

RK Beach, also known as Ramakrishna Beach, is a picturesque coastal destination that offers a delightful combination of natural beauty, recreational activities, and cultural attractions. Having had the pleasure of visiting RK Beach recently, I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations and left me with lasting memories. Here is my review of this enchanting place. First and foremost, the beach itself is simply breathtaking. The golden sands stretch out for miles, gently caressed by the azure waters of the Bay of Bengal. Whether you're an early riser seeking a tranquil morning stroll or a sunset enthusiast yearning for a spectacular view, RK Beach provides an ideal setting. The clean and well-maintained shoreline offers a peaceful retreat where you can unwind, bask in the sun, or simply sit back and listen to the soothing sound of the waves. Beyond its natural beauty, RK Beach offers a range of activities to suit every taste. For adventure seekers, there are options like jet skiing, banana boat rides, and parasailing. These thrilling water sports provide an adrenaline rush and add an exciting element to your visit. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, you can rent a bicycle and explore the scenic promenade that runs alongside the beach. The cool sea breeze and stunning views make it a refreshing and enjoyable ride. One of the highlights of RK Beach is the Submarine Museum, which offers a unique and educational experience. Housed inside a real submarine, this museum allows visitors to step into the world of naval history. Exploring the various sections and learning about the life of submariners is truly fascinating. It's an excellent opportunity to gain insight into India's maritime heritage and appreciate the sacrifices made by those who served. Another noteworthy attraction near RK Beach is the Kali Temple. This ancient and revered temple attracts both locals and tourists alike. The serene ambiance, intricate architecture, and spiritual aura make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a glimpse into the religious and cultural fabric of the region. RK Beach also boasts a vibrant food scene. From street food stalls offering lip-smacking local delicacies to restaurants serving delectable seafood, you'll find a plethora of options to satisfy your taste buds. Don't miss the chance to indulge in some fresh and flavorful seafood dishes while enjoying the beach view. In terms of amenities, RK Beach doesn't disappoint. The beach is well-maintained, with clean restroom facilities and ample seating areas. The presence of lifeguards ensures the safety of visitors, particularly those venturing into the water for various activities. Overall, RK Beach is a gem on the coastline of Vishakhapatnam. Its natural beauty, recreational offerings, cultural attractions, and delicious cuisine make it a truly remarkable destination. Whether you're seeking tranquility, adventure, or a glimpse into the local culture, RK Beach has it all. I highly recommend visiting this captivating place and creating your own unforgettable experiences. .

A wonderful beach in the city of vizag. A must visit place. Sunsets are beautiful in winters. Aircraft museum, submarine museum and vishakha museum is very close to this beach... almost walking distance. A nice Amul parlor is located nearby. Overall should not miss this spot.

It is a beautiful and we'll maintained beach. You are allowed to swim here in the day time. And in roadside, you can find small food shops and specially try their street side corn, masala muri, you can find them plenty there.

A long coast line. There are many places along this beach. Karsura submarine museum, air craft museum and nearby under water aqua tunnel exhibition which children will enjoy. People spend time walking on the clean footpath and spend time sitting looking over the sea.

Ramakrishna Beach also known as R K Beach is situated on the east coast of Bay of Bengal in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. We went there to see the sunrise and it was a mesmerising experience, less crowded as we have visited on weekday. Parking facilities available, no changing rooms are there.

This is the famous beach in Vizag, it was fully crowded, I mean I haven't seen such a huge crowd on any other beach. It was totally covered with family and friends, the vibe was different. It has many food stalls with a variety of options. We have been here during the evening time the cool breeze and the weather was good. The beach is not clean because the crowd is spoiling it. If you are in Vizag do visit this place and have fun.

Vizag beach is love!.. but visually disturbance for cing the sand turing into black sand.Experts said that the colour of the sand turned black may be because of excess of iron ore deposits or drain emitting from the sea.

This place is great! You feel one with nature here; but make sure not to plan a visit on weekends or else you'll get struck in traffic.

This beach is by far the most scenic and serene beach in Vishakapatnam. There are multiple view points to access the beach. The entry points with coconut trees with lights installed on them are the most beautiful ones. Evenings on this beach are even more amazing and satisfying to visit.

R.K. Beach is known for its scenic beauty, with a long coastline along the Bay of Bengal. The beach is characterized by its golden sands, lush greenery, and a pleasant sea breeze. The beach is an excellent place to witness stunning sunrise and sunset views. Many visitors gather here early in the morning and in the evening to enjoy these natural spectacles. A well-maintained promenade runs along the beach, offering a pleasant walking and jogging area for both locals and tourists. The promenade is lined with palm trees and provides seating areas. One of the unique attractions near R.K. Beach is the INS Kursura Submarine Museum. It is a decommissioned submarine that has been converted into a museum, allowing visitors to explore its interior and learn about India's naval history. The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) Park is located near the beach. It's a recreational area with lush gardens, children's play equipment, and musical fountains, making it a great place for families.

R K Beach, also known as Ramakrishna Beach, is a serene coastal spot in Visakhapatnam, India. With its scenic beauty, lively promenade, and delicious street food(chat, corn etc) , it's a perfect place for a leisurely stroll and sunset views. However, be cautious of strong waves during the monsoon season. Bathing and swimming is prohibited here.

Strong currents but a very much fun place to be in. Crowded though. This beach also has great Street food and shopping places. Don't get fooled by the photographers on the beach. Better carry your own camera and click your own pictures rather than get scammed by those people.

Nice beach. But not the cleanest. Still it's a safe & secure beach. Beach patrolling is always there. Multiple options for entertainment like riding a horse, clicking photos, and having a walk alongside the beach. Different street food options like Mango/ varieties of chat, Gupchup/Golgappe/Phucka, Ice cream. Overall nice view at evening & night. Calm and peaceful. But vizag sea is rough, so be careful.
