It's a historical place. Though it's the small town there's a history behind it. For information it's my birth place. If we want to know, there is lot of information about Vizianagaram.

It's just a tower with a clock. Situated in the busiest road and market in the town. Looks beautiful with the lights but in my opinion it's an overrated place.

This is the oldest and iconic clock ⌚⏰ tower 🗼in VIZIANAGARAM city. According to the local folk, this tower was built by the Maharajas of Vizianagaram even before British period for providing time for the sake of Maharajas and for local people with the help of Big Bell 🔔 inside the clock tower. The oldest Maharaj's named as GAJAPATI RAJAS exist even today. One among them in local Andhrapradesh state politics is former Minister: ASHOKA GAJAPATI RAJA. This is even today well maintained with lights and water 💦 fountain ⛲ during the evening and night times. This brings a charm to the old market area of the vizianagaram city which makes it a prestigious and HERITAGE ICON for Andhrapradesh as well as for India.

Surprisingly the clock is still working for so many decades and it's accurate. If you want any wholesale shop in the vizianagaram city, first reach the clock tower then just walk into the market within a few steps. It's a highly crowded area better not to bring the infants,. children or aged people. A big drawback for the market is, there is no parking place at all. You need to find some place away from the market, then walk into the market.
