Update a year later: We went for Happy Hour, made reservations at 5:30, only time available only to find out upon arrival that happy hour does not take reservations, only dinner. Happy Hour is first come, so it’s iffy if you’ll get a seat a the bar, very limited seating. We were lucky! The food was good, wine was expensive, service was great if you could get the bar tenders attention, otherwise you’ll probably wait a while. All in all, a nice place for happy hour. Original review: This would have been a 5 star if the server hadn’t forgotten us and there wasn’t so much time in between our courses. Every thing started out great but it wasn’t soon before the service became questionable. The food was excellent and the ambience was incredible. We valet parked and tipped $5, well worth it. High end on price, but a great experience if the servers don’t forget about you.

We ate about 5 meals here while staying at the Kea Lani. The escargot were the best of my life. Do not miss the escargot. I’d sure love to know the cheese on top. I feel there was more than Parmesan????

The food was just ok, not too flavorful. The server was very attentive and helpful. The highlight was my daughter's lobster tail. My scallops didn't have much flavor. the prices are outrageous. Would not go back. If you're able to sit outside, the views are great, but beware of bugs.

Excellent food. Friendly, hospitable front of house staff. Ambience very typical of outdoor-style resort restaurant. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ate at Duke's the night before and had a similar, excellent experience but for almost half the price.

Enjoyed the escargot, the crab cakes, chowder, and the scallops! Definitely recommend those. Steak wasnt bad, but I liked the steak at Duo better which is the Steakhouse right next door at the Four seasons. The fish was actually disappointing, kinda bland, but not bad. We liked our desserts; I really liked the bananas foster! I saw they had won an award for wine but was disappointed in their by the glass wine options; there were no wines on coravin either.

Great spot located inside the Fairmont! The atmosphere is excellent with indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter, Cheston, was one of a kind. He made great suggestions which all were on point. I had the rack of lamb and it was fire 🔥. Everything we had from drinks to dessert was sensational. This is definitely a good spot in Maui. Be prepared to spend some money 💰 here!

If you’re looking for a nice night out this is a great place. Staff are incredible, the atmosphere is nice (kind of overlooks the pool so not the nicest setting but the grounds of the Fairmont are pretty so makes up for the pool). The food is lovely and there is a little ceremonial tiki torch lighting and conch blow at sunset which was fun.

I called in advance to reserve a table for 2, and mentioned that we will celebrate getting engaged, as I was planning to propose that night. Well, she said yes, and there we were, showing up for our reservation. They made sure we got a table with a view, our servers were very professional, friendly and congratulated us. The food was truly delicious. The champagne was really good as well. They offered us dessert on the house which was unexpected and very generous of them. The panne cotta was my favorite. We will definitely be back next time we are at Maui.

This place is phenomenonal. We had reservations, and our table was inside, and we asked if we could sit outside, and they accommodated us. We ordered an appetizer, the Kalua pig pot stickers, which were terrific. For our entree, I had the monchang, and my husband had the ahi. Both dishes were fantastic. I was a little disappointed in my dessert as I ordered the bananas foster that came with a slice of french toast. It wasn't what I thought it would taste like, and I didn't care much for the toast. Overall, the food was terrific.

Let’s be honest, do you like to be rushed through dinner? We got to dinner earlier than our scheduled time at 815 and was seated immediately. Once we sat down, the waiter was fast and furious in asking us what we wanted and he kinda rushed through what would have been a great experience in the nice environment we were in. We ordered the escargots and crab cakes to start, scallops and the fish for mains. The crab cakes and escargots came very quick, which was great as we were hungry. They were lukewarm. Once we finished, they immediately brought out the fish and scallops that was lukewarm too. We suspect they already prepared the food altogether. Food was tasty but we had better elsewhere. Merriman’s and Mama’s had better food for sure. We felt like we were in Panda express, everything was done and dusted in 55 minutes. That was our fastest dinner ever and we actually felt rushed. We won’t be rushing back to this place. What a weird experience.

Dining at Nicks at the Fairmont was simply off the hook fun evening!! To do it right, have a cocktail first at the lobby bar which has great views and a tasty selection, my wife and I both enjoyed the drinks. If you time it right before sunset, you can also enjoy the conch shell blowing ceremony. Dinner was awesome with the Moroccan Salmon, Fresh catch and a great French Pinot noir. And we finished it off with a flaming strawberries panzin. Brandon our waiter put on quite a show for us getting it setup. Then we strolled around the pool area after dinner. Perhaps our most memorable night on Maui which is difficult to say as we really enjoyed all of our dinners. Highly recommend the experience!

Our dining experience was lovely. The menu was diverse although limited selections. The food was high quality, fresh, prepared nicely albeit maybe a little "safe" with flavors. Ordered the flambe' strawberry dessert. It was entertaining and tasty. Also ordered the bananas foster which quite oddly was NOT flambe' tableside and was delivered pre-prepared.

Though it’s main attraction is it’s excellent seafood, Nick’s also offers an array of delicious food options for non-seafood lovers. Options offered, but not limited to are New Zealand Lamb, Greek Chicken, New York Steak, and many more. Nick’s also prides itself on it’s expansive wine collection, and it comes as no surprise that the restaurant is a six time winner of the Wine Spectator’s Best Award of Excellence. As a result you can enjoy a pairing of global wines while residing right in the comfort of Wailea. Our team can definitely vouch for Nick’s as we have gone many times with both our team and our own respective ohana’s. In March my father Dano had celebrated his birthday at Nick’s and had an unforgettable experience as seen in the pictures below.

Chris was our server and definitely made our daughter's 12th birthday tonight very special... we've been on the island 8 days and this was the best meal I have had on our whole trip by far!

Food, atmosphere, and service was top notch! We had Chivas as our waiter and he was awesome! Great views and a nice resort, we walked around after dinner to check out the beautiful views.

The food here was fantastic, so I wish we hadn’t waited so long to eat here. Fast, attentive service, but not the best view for a Maui sunset. The sashimi was delicious, as were my scallops. Will eat here again for sure.

We had such a great meal! Devin/Devon was our server and he was so awesome and super attentive with us. The food was AMAZING and definetly recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner especially around sunset time :)

Came here for our 1 year anniversary. Food and service was just awesome. First, compliments to our waiter Bill. He was thorough when he needed to be and kept space at the right times as well. He was always super helpful. Even caught our food envy at times and explained which dish we were eyeing up. Extremely friendly, even when one of his other tables was being rude. Our meal.. Bill talked me into the Abalone and it couldn't have been better. My wife had the scallops and tortellini, which was equally as impressing. Surprised how great the handmade tortellini was! For dessert we did the strawberries. Comes with quite a show and presentation that did not disappoint. Would recommend this to anyone! The strawberries were fantastic with the fixings and the grand Marnier. The meal was expensive (even above what we usually consider expensive), but we knew that going in. The key is that it was worth every penny. Thanks for the wonderful experience Bill 🤙

Absolutely loved it. Great food and atmosphere with Excellent service. Favorite dish was the Pan seared Ahi on Rissotto. Tried Escargot for the first time here and actually loved it. Priced right for a special occasion.

The service and food were Outstanding. Our server Cheston did a great job. The uku piccata fresh local Hawaiian snapper was delicious along with a filet mignon created a perfect surf and turf.Dessert was flaming strawberries. Check out the art on the plates. A surfer and volcano All this under the beautiful stars.

The food here is so fresh and delicious! My goodness. We had the Mahi Mahi and fresh catch of the day which was Monchong and was so delicate and decadant in taste, not fishy at all. For appetizers we had escargot and the chef sashimi of the day - yellowfin. Both melted in our mouths. The atmosphere is lovely at the Fairmont, mostly outdoors with beautiful views of the hotel and water

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Despite 5pm reservation we were not rushed at all. Bill our main waiter was terrific with great recommendations. We had the Ahi appetizer, followed by beet salad (they split it for us unlike most places when you share one) followed that with the fish of the day Opaka paka. Chocolate brownie dessert was also delicious. All staff was truly amazing. Watch out Mama's Fish House, this was a truly amazing meal!!!

This place really impressed me. It was one of my top favorite restaurants on the island. The service and food were excellent! I had the mahi-mahi with capers and rice - highly recommend! The sauces were to die for! I would’ve come here twice in one trip if I had known it was this good (we went in our last day). We will be back!
