Lodge
has
received
a
rating
of
4
stars
for
cleanliness,
but
unfortunately,
their
front
of
house
staff
and
communication
did
not
meet
expectations,
receiving
a
rating
of
0
stars.
Despite
confirming
twice
over
the
phone,
one
of
the
two
rooms
booked
was
not
reserved
upon
arrival.
Though
the
staff
made
another
room
available,
it
was
an
unfortunate
situation
for
someone
else.
During
check-in,
the
receptionist
inquired
about
the
preferred
breakfast
time,
to
which
we
requested
it
to
be
ready
by
7
am
as
we
had
to
be
at
the
school
for
a
rugby
match
at
7:45
am.
However,
when
we
arrived
at
the
dining
area,
we
found
it
unstaffed,
and
a
lady
informed
us
that
breakfast
was
not
ready
yet,
and
she
would
begin
preparing
it
soon,
but
we
could
not
wait
as
the
game
was
about
to
start.
As
a
result,
they
missed
breakfast,
and
it
seemed
as
though
the
staff
was
shifting
the
blame
to
their
colleague
who
was
not
on
duty,
reflecting
a
"could
not
care"
mentality
at
the
lodge
despite
its
pleasant
ambiance.
