Snowy biltong has been a historic place since I was a child. Traveling from Newcastle to Pretoria we always stopped there for the best biltong and friendliest people

Every time we travel from home, Margate, to our kids in Kriel or back home again, we stop at Snowy. Biltong and wors I will rate them the best in SA by far !

The biltong is very pricey, of very poor quality, some extremely salty and vitually inedible,. I bought a variety and some dry wors, all of which we ended up using as pet snacks. Pity as the shop is neat with some interesting food goodies and antiques in it. Avoiding purchasing the biltong is highly advisable.
