Comfortable hotel, clean rooms and close to everything in the centre. The wepage said parking available, but that is limited, but there is a car park in front of hotel, but does not take visa cards, or cash.

Perfect for cycling Gelderland: 325€, 4 nights, 2 people, 3 days of bicycle rental, including breakfast. We combined a cycling arrangement of 2 nights (1 day bicycle rental), but not available in the weekend with another arrangement of 2 more nights in the weekend with separate bicycle rental (12,50€ for 1 bicycle and 1 day). In the morning we could choose from about 30 bicycles (all of them of high quality by famous Dutch brands e.g. Batavus and Sparta). Every day we made about 80 to 90 km. Without cycling maps, just a general one of the province. We used the very practical cycling noodes (Fietsknooppunten) to point out our itinirary the day itself. But above all, the cycling paths are fantastic and it was not a problem to cycle back in the dark after a diner in a castle, 10 km out of town. That's another advantage of hotel bicycle rental. You don't have to be back before 6 pm when a normal bicycle shop closes. So you can cycle more without worrying. The first day we went all the way to Radio Kootwijk in the Veluwe Area. We passed by a historical train station with a display of about 27 engines in the village of Lieren. The secon day we discovered a nice museum about World War II in Hengelo and the romantic and smallest city of the Netherlands, called Bronkhorst. The breakfast is perfect for cyclists. Very rich and a wide range of breads, meat, salmon, fruit, ... The beds are small (book a standard room, not an economy room) and there's not so much space when you're standing in the bathtub for taking your shower because of the low ceilings. Quite strange as the extension is only 10 years old and Dutch people are rather tall. Advice: book through their own website if you want the cheapest offers.

We went for a wine-dine-sleep arrangement. The quality of the food and wine was good, but not exciting. It took them over four hours to serve a four course meal, with completely absent service between courses. At least we had plenty of time to look at the empty plates🙄. Beds were extremely comfortable, but we found some dust bunnies in our room ... Breakfast was excellent!

Wonderful hote. Lovely rooms, great breakfast. The staff are very service-oriented. Today Thomas helped me and he was very kind and very patient. It is staff like that which make Hampshire Hotel Zutphen a very special place. Thank you for the wonderful service we have had from you over the years. The ladies at the reception today once again outdid themselves with their wonderful service. Kind, thoughtful and extremely service oriented.Thank you again.

Very authentic hotel in the middle of the city center with access to all the city highlights. You have to pay another 20 Euro for the parking lot per day. For corona times a decent breakfast.

Comfortable bed, superb location and a nice mixture of old and new. Definitely a good hotel to recharge after a long day of traveling and exploring Zutphen and the Achterhoek region.

It is ok, a bit pricier for what you get, but it is clean and you can check in whenever you need.

Central. Within a few yards to small supermarket. 5 minute stroll to bars and restaurants. Excellent river trip on the whisper boats. Full of history.

Small hotel rooms and limited breakfast options make this a "meh" experience. Only recommend as a place to rest your head after touring the town around it.

Perfect location in the center of hanseatic town. The building is well renovated, the old part is really impressive rococo style. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. Esspecially young lady at the reception welcomed us warmly and was very helpfull with information that we've asked for. Even gave us a location of local cheese shop, where we've bought kilograms of this local speciality.
