This is honestly the best rafting trip I've ever been on in my life. It was perfect in terms of degree of excitement (lots of action, but I never thought my life was in danger). They provide plenty of instruction which includes a short swim test down a small rapid (so be mentally prepared for that). Also, be prepared to work; you do have to paddle a fair amount. Norway is expensive, but I felt like the price was very reasonable for the amount of fun we had. Also, the photos were pretty reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

The experience was good , however , it need more improvement comparing with the money paid. The rafting itself took around 1 hour net , the rest of the time ( from the 3 hours in total ) include safety induction , rafting training , swimming ( which I like ) and moving to another spot by walking to avoid waterfalls. The service and personal are very supportive and professional.

The wife and I did the White Water Rafting group tour and had a blast! Our group was not very large and gave everyone a chance to separate into pretty even raft teams. We ended up with a great guide from Zimbabwe, can't remember his name but he had us safely in the thick of all the falls and made sure we had fun with it. Highly recommend booking with these guys!!!

I’m not an experienced rafter, but I had such a great time! The guides are friendly in addition to being experts. Your safety and success are their priorities, and they do a small swim test for the higher-level rapids—I felt energized and prepared after that and had a great ride! Great vibes, great views, great experience in Voss.

I was a bit nervous about the experience and booked last minute on an impulse. I'm glad I did! The staff were so professional and importantly put a lot of emphasis on safety. The surrounding scenery was beautiful and the actual experience was mind blowing - perfect thrill, I loved it! Overall the day was run a well oiled machine, smooth and slick. Our guide, Tabs, was very knowledgable. All the staff were great, in fact. A special thanks to Matt, our lovely bus driver. Definitely one to go for!

It was a lot of fun, very good bikes and great service. Our guide was Genis, he took the level of the group into account and adjusted the ride accordingly. Great experience.

Great experience, the guides are really nice and helpful! The spa and the lunch menu are also worth trying. We had a great time.

My family and I went to the family rafting, and had such an incredible experience. The rafting was very family-friendly and was fun for all ages. Thanks to Riley who made it extra fun for the kids.

HAD a great day there & was surprised about their new hotel also on the banks of the river. The rafting was perfect and felt very safe - and it was such a spectacular scenery around us! Can really recommend this!

Had a great day on the river today, lots of fun and lots of splashing around even after a lot of rain recently. We did skip two drops due to safety reasons which when we saw the drops was the best thing to do. The staff were very informative and very friendly. Evan was super funny and got us working as a team which was great. The only improvement I would say is when testing our swimming ability a lest turbulent part to start would be better. I know this must be done to ensure safety but I don’t think that was the best idea. The walk down is quite hard too. All in all a class time though!

In one word...WOW. We had 6 of us ranging from 34-68 and this trip took us all out of our comfort zones in various ways. However, we all said this was our favorite part of our Norway trip (there were a lot of highlights!). Will was our amazing guide and not only was he patient with our various fears (getting down to the water down steep rocks, jumping into the water and crazy rapids) but he was an incredible navigator through the class 4 rapids. It was terrifying and exhilarating all at the same time!!! Thank you Will!

Go rafting with Voss Active is A MUST! SUPER FUN!! The river is beautiful, the equipment is very good, and the staff is awesome!! We felt very safe and it was really fun. YOU GO!

Update: Updated from 3 to 4 stars because Voss has returned the money. Very good service of them :) Thank you. Original post: Did the white canyon rafting, it was really fun and the guides were funny and amazing! They were really about the safety, so we were never scared. However, we thought it was quite a short rafting trip as there's also a bit you have to walk in between due to a "large" waterfall. Tip : don't book the transportation tickets if you can reach Voss Active yourself. We thought the transportation tickets were from Voss Active "station" to the place to go rafting. But with "station" they mean train station. The bus drive to the water is apparently already included in the ticket, so money was waisted on buying those transport tickets as we found out too late.

This was a first for me, an amazing exprience! The crew was professional and funny. My guide Will, is very well experienced and made the rafting funny and safe down the river. I am definitely going rafting with these guys again.

My river rafting experience was okay. I was going to go in a raft with my family but the water was too low, and the instructors sort of pushed us into using the inflatable kayaks. We went, and everything was okay until near the end, when we got stuck on some rocks. I started having a mild panic attack, and the instructor rescued us. It was overall nice though.

10/10 recommend! Our guide Johnny was great, he was energetic and explained safety procedures very well which made some nervous people in our group feel more at ease. After our rafting trip we had a lovely lunch at the restaurant, the chef José was very friendly and a great addition to the Voss Active team. Rafting with Voss Active was the highlight of our stay in Voss.

Voss active was awesome! One of the highlights of the trip to Norway. It was a non stop adventure. Loved the playlist on the way up & back, the joking personalities of the crew but that they were serious when it mattered, the class 5 we did, the cliff jump... And finally warming up in the hot tub with a view 😍. I believe Lucas was or guide & he was the best!

We did the Family Rafting (Class 2) which was super great for kids. Well organized, lots of fun, beautiful scenery, competent guides. I particularly liked the way the guides made sure the mood was sky high from start to finish!

We, Dutch family of five (3 boys aged 12, 10 and 8 years), had the best time Family rafting. Guides with a good deal of humour (especially the Swedish girl with her excellent raftingskills) and a great understanding of the folks in their boat. A must do when you’re in Norway!

First time doing rafting, and for sure, we’ll remember the experience! Everything was perfect, even when we almost lost a friend down the river. Our guide, Pinxo, was the best! He kept us alive and we love him for that.
