A great choice for a vacation in Voss. The hotel is right beside the train and bus station and faces the lake. We enjoyed the magnificent lake view our room provided. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable that it's hard to leave. The breakfast buffet was the best. It's hearty and delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is clean, nice walk to city center, it got nice view of the lake, there is no room service, slow service at breakfast time, slow filling back the shortage in food items while breakfast time, the restaurant does not have a decent food selection menu. Housekeeping are fast with limited cleaning level they don't vacuum the room. Reception staff have limited information of the city and activities surrounding the hotel better not to seek their guidance. The hotel got easy access to train platforms, There's no car park for the hotel easiest way to park at the gaz station will Coast about 150 kr per night.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The room is clean and spacious. There is lots of space for us to place our clothes and luggage. The bed is comfortable. And I absolutely love the decorations and the style of the room. We can see beautiful snow mountains from our hotel window, which is a nice surprise. The hotel also has the best hotel breakfast. There is a variety of food to choose from, and all dishes are beautiful and tasty. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Voss next time.

Great location. Next to the ski resort gondola and next to the train station.

The staff is very service oriented. The room gets a minus for not having a desk if you need to work on a computer. But the beds are very comfy. The hotel is in the center of town so the location is very good, next to the train station and the gondol to the mountain.

This hotel was great and convenient with direct access to the station, and the room was nice. The sauna was another great! My only concern was the room door doesn’t lock automatically often on going out, so I needed to check the lock every time.

Great location in the center of Voss , immediately next to the train station and Voss Gondol. The front desk staff are helpful. But everything in this hotel is based on help yourself. There is no porter to take your luggage. The cleaning is not that good too. The food at the restaurant is buffet only !

Rooms are a bit small considering we were 4 staying in the room. Some rooms are overlooking the train station however this didn’t effect us as the windows are soundproof. Bathroom is of good size and breakfast is on another level! You can also pay a few NOK to take a packed lunch from the breakfast. Service was always good and the staff were always ready to help. If you are looking to book dinner at the hotel book in advance as it gets quite busy.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Got to Voss via bus , which stopped right in front of the hotel. The train station is also right behind the hotel with access via the hotel. Traveling in and out of here was a breeze. Close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a huge selection. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Good location, near everything. Good Norwegian service. Lacks room utilities, additional services close early. Breakfast is open until 10:30 am. Location is excellent. Nice country side, great views.

The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are very basic but clean with no water in it, no iron and iron board (need to be requested). However, the rooms with view at the lake has magnificent view. The breakfast was excellent. No parking and have to pull your luggage in the rain for a good walk plus no laundry service is offered.

Great location! Rooms have everything you need, also restaurant is amazing! Breakfast has multiple options, vegan friendly also! Gym & Spa available. Very clean & customer service is excellent! We will definitely stay here again!

Staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were small and poorly equipped for skiers or winter conditions. Dinner quality changed with the chef; one evening it was shut completely without any warning, leaving us to go hungry. Breakfast was cold every morning. The waitresses themselves were amazing. Hotel is on the train line and next to the gondola, so location is good.

Parking behind the train line, no drive up entrance. Nice modern hotel with AMAZING breakfast spread. In the heart of Voss, Gondola is a must do.

For sure, the best hotel in Voss. Everything was super ok. Clean rooms, modern hotel, very good breakfast (rich dishes also for gluten &, lactose free). Staff was friendly and nice. Very good value for the money.

This is truely an impeccably well maintained and modern hotel. Everything is extremly well thought out. Bathrooms with floor heating, windows with side couching to enjoy the view and get lost in your thoughts, an absolutely amazing breakfast, extremly friendly and helpful staff, a bathroom with quite strangely the perfect water temperature, temperature control over your room. The location is in front of the train station, bus station, gondola, and the lake. Totally worth to stay at least a night when passing through Voss.

Pros: - Next to Voss gondola and the beautiful lake of Voss. - Lake view rooms have a beautiful view over the lake. - Just by the bus and train station. So, it's a good choice if you're coming by public transportation with your luggage. Otherwise, it's tough if you're coming by car (your car or a taxi. See below). - Rooms were clean. - The breakfast buffet is big and has a large variety. - The taste of the tap water is great! Cons: - If you're coming by car. It can be hell if you have lots of luggage and if you have children or elderly as individual cars cannot enter the area where the main entrance is. You would have to park either in the limited parking space before the hotel (paid parking with a max of 3 hours) or park at a 15-minute parking lot a few meters away from the entrance. In such a case, you'd have to go all the way to the hotel to grab the luggage cart and then push it all the way back. Then walk again to move your car to the parking lot that's even further by another few meters. - The overnight parking lot is paid (250 NOK per day). So, no free parking. - If you have a "city view" room (i.e., on the rear side of the hotel), be prepared to hear the cargo and commercial trains which run immediately under the room. Cargo trains can run a bit after midnight. - Reception is on the second floor, so you'd have to take your luggage one floor up to check in. - Lastly, the hotel is expensive given all these critiques.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVED BY CHARTERED BUS AND CARS. Room was nice, location was nice, but the hotel did not have a driveway for our bus and even for cars. The driveway were closed by a gate that the hotel could not open. We have to carry our luggage from the parking lot while it's RAINING.

Perfect location, right next to the train station (and the Gondola). The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. The service was great and the breakfast was quite large. Quite tastefully decorated and designed as well.
